HUGE CONGRATULATIONS Nursey! Hope you stay well and bean behaves him/herself. Sure DC will be well worth the wait!

Fairly certain I have seen MummyAnnabella on an antenatal thread, too.

BrightShinySun · 14/03/2008 12:53

Hi all!! Congratulations Nursey! Some really good news-wo hoo!

Thanks casper it would be nice to have a BFP but to be honest I know its really not very likely at all, this being my 1st cycle and all....just hoping what I have learnt this month I can build on over the next few months and use it to get that BFP!!

Oh and my OPK was a definite -ve today so just waiting for AF now so we can start again!!

Hiya Mibbles and Josie hows it going with my CB's!!

pinkgirl30 · 14/03/2008 13:01

congrats nursey

beaniesteve · 14/03/2008 13:02

Congratulations Nursey

JollyBear · 14/03/2008 13:17

WWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! A new BFP! Congrats nursey .

SparklyMummy · 14/03/2008 13:27

Hi guys,
A BFP AT LAST!! CONGRATS NURSEY!!
I've got a hangover today - went out to celebrate the start of my 4 weeks holiday (Sparkly see faces from everyone).... I do have a lot of work to do in that time but will be able to do most of it from home.
Started temping yday.
TMI alert!!!!!!!
This morning I was desperate for the toilet and it was 6:50. I have decided to take my temp at 715 everyday and worried that I couldn't go for a wee because it was 25 mins early so I just held it in and am convinced this would make a difference anyway! Any advice for those moments?
xx

JollyBear · 14/03/2008 13:36

sparklymummy Well done for holding it in! If I REALLY need to go then I just take it early and make a note that I've taken it earlier. I find that if I wake early and need to go I lie awake fretting I can't get back to sleep!

25mins won't make a massive difference and you'd still be able to tell the difference between pre and post ov temps once you know what is normal for you. If you have just joined FF there is a temp corrector tool which you can use. Drinking the night before makes your temp higher apparently so it might be slightly higher than normal anyway.

Enjoy your hols!

caspercat · 14/03/2008 13:38

Hi nursey, i'm new here, and we've not met, but wanted to add my mahooosive congrats on your BFP! You're my first (IYSWIM!)
BSS, you seem to have adopted my life motto - "a pessimist is never disappointed!"
SparklyMummy - no advice i'm afraid, but lurking for advice as am in the same boat - and i always wake up desperate for a wee!! xxx

SparklyMummy · 14/03/2008 13:39

Jollybear
It was slightly higher as it was 36.56 yday and 36.69 today. Will start 2 OPKs a day in a few days so hoping to find out when I am OV.
Need to get my head around FF today.

pinkgirl30 · 14/03/2008 13:43

afternoon ladies
cd 48 and still no af crossing fingers for a bfp monday morning
still hanging on in there bdance last nite then going to every 2 days!!

JaamyButty · 14/03/2008 13:46

Daft hat on again...FF?

Thanks

[Jaamy skulks back into dunces corner]

SparklyMummy · 14/03/2008 14:06

FF is fertilityfriend...it's a website that indicates ovulation and so on. You can add all your stats.

mibbes · 14/03/2008 14:07

BSS CB you had well timed BDs so I reckon you have as good a chance as anyone... good luck
congrats Nursey we were well overdue a BFP on here
sparkly I do the same as JB and just take it early as I reckon the time affects the temp less then getting out of bed and weeing. You input the time in FF anyway so you can see that it was not a 'normal' time temp. It looks like the booze has caused it to rise so probably one to take little notice of . Lucky you having 4 weeks off !
I got my scan appt through for end of the month - hurray ! However it says it is an trans-abdominal scan and to drink water beforehand (like a PG scan I assume) but there is an information sheet attached with FAQs about trans-vaginal scan... so not sure what will happen...

piper1984 · 14/03/2008 14:43

OMG ladies, this temp thing is so confusing! lol is 37.11 to high?

fruitloop79 · 14/03/2008 14:47

yes piper it's high! have you oved then?

Emmsy1 · 14/03/2008 14:55

piper Thats a beautiful temp!

JollyBear · 14/03/2008 15:13

Piper is a hottie!

JollyBear · 14/03/2008 15:15

fruitloop I think we're the same DPO, 10! How long do you plan to hold out to test?! I hope you get a BFP as a reward for sitting at the bottom of the list for so long .

JaamyButty · 14/03/2008 15:19

Thanks Sparkly. Enjoy your time off.

[Jaamy takes a little nonchalant stroll over to FF website...dum-de-dum...]

SparklyMummy · 14/03/2008 15:25

It's taking me a while to figure it all out Jaamy but now that i'm temping and using OPks it should help.
Piper you're hotter than me.

fruitloop79 · 14/03/2008 15:31

Hey jolly Im 11 today so you're not far behind! I'll be testing on Tuesday! when will you be? how long is your LP usually? do you know?

fruitloop79 · 14/03/2008 15:33

Sitting at the bottom of the list is very lonely it's very blustery at the bottom, I got blown off twice on the temping thread!

JollyBear · 14/03/2008 15:47

Poor you fruitloop! I'm not sure as with my last long cycle/first cycle of temping it appeared to be 18days I'm not sure if something went wrong there as 18 days would be really v long for a LP! Do you know how long yours is? I was going to test on Sunday but might wait a bit longer, I don't want to see a BFN. Fingers crossed for you!

fruitloop79 · 14/03/2008 16:02

no idea what my LP is. FF dont want me to test until next sat! I'll be 19dpo! So Tuesday it is then I figured 15 DPO is long enough to wait!
