8 DPO - BFN :( TWW buddies please!

I know I know… 8 DPO is FAR too early for most to test, and I wasn’t going to start until at least 10dpo.. but I caved and did a cheapie easy@home this morning and this evening and it’s stark white! I WISH I waited but I thought about how exciting it would be to see that positive result if by any chance I had implanted at 6DPO and just couldn’t resist.

So disappointed in myself as I’d rather not know if I am or not for a little longer then have a BFN but not being addicted to POAS because I know it’s so early and could pop up at any time if I am! You get more desperate when you see a negative.. need some TWW friends to keep me sane please and any success stories of a 8DPO BFN turned BFP?😁🤍

Hi 👋🏼 I’d love to be a TWW buddy. I think I’m also 8dpo. I’ve had headaches all week, cramps, woke up at 1.30am being sick (sorry tmi) so fingers crossed!

Hey! Don’t worry nothings tmi on here lol🤣, bless you! I’ve had no cramps apart from a little bit of nausea here and there but I had that last month same time in my cycle.. and I get it around ovulation too so probably not a symptom! Fingers crossed for you! When are you planning on testing?🫣 xxx

Hey I'm 6dpo today 🙂 plan on testing at 9dpo and if negative then I'll try my very best to wait till 11dpo to test again 😂
I've had no symptoms at all, unlike last cycle where I had loads already by 6dpo like cramping, nausea, sore boobs etc. I also have tonsillitis at the moment and am on antibiotics so feeling a bit run down but nothing else really

Welcome! Only a few days to hold out! I didn’t have any symptoms that I know of with DD but I didn’t plan her or know I was pregnant until 3.5 weeks so I wasn’t looking for any symptoms or anything until then! And didn’t feel anything till a little while after I found out (when the first trimester hit like a brick🤣), I hope you feel better soon! I ovulated 5 days earlier this month than I did last month which was a nice suprise! Less waiting 🤣

What cycle are you girls on? I’m only cycle 2 TTC DC #2 xx

@Emilyadams98 same I had no symptoms in the TWW the cycle I fell pregnant with my daughter! I'm on cycle 2 ttc #2 as well. Trying to not associate the no symptoms with me being pregnant like last time 😂

That’s crazy! We’re so similar 🤣 me too lol.. I have some FRER coming today as they’re finally back on Amazon on next day delivery again! Wonder if I can hold off testing 🤣

It’s so difficult isn’t it with symptoms that could be normal cycle or an early sign 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi Ladies, I’d love to be a 2ww buddy too! I’m currently 6dpo and it’s my 2nd cycle TTC baby #1. Every time I go to the loo I’m looking for signs of implantation bleeding and desperately waiting til I can test! So far symptoms are sore boobs and tiredness but tbh that’s no different to the symptoms I get in the lead up to AF anyway. I’m planning to test for the first time on Tuesday which will be 8dpo but it’s so hard to wait!

@Emilyadams98 I also ovulated early as well 🤣 CD11 this cycle vs CD14 last cycle. Oh that's good they're back now! They've been unavailable for a while. I actually went the extra mile and bought a 3 pack of FRER from the US last week 🥲

@Luna0905 hey I'm feeling better today, the antibiotics must be working finally! I'm sorry to hear it's taking such a long time for you 😞 I know you've probably researched everything already but have you tried myo-inositol? It's apparently supposed to help with PCOS. I've also heard a lot of stories of women about to start IVF and then finally fall pregnant on the last cycle beforehand! I have everything crossed for you that this will be your BFP xx

@Lily124 just a heads up you don't always get implantation bleeding 😊 I never did with DD. It really is sooo hard waiting around for the first opportunity to test. I'll be 8dpo tomorrow and I said I'd wait till earliest 9dpo but I bet I'll still do a test tomorrow because I just have no patience 😂

Hi! I’m 7 or 8 DPO (flo says 7, opks are 8) and I feel like I was really symptom heavy last week and that it’s all gone over the last few days!

I did an early detection CB test about 30 mins ago and it was BFN but they do say they it must be FMU so I’ll test again tomorrow!

@naggy095 thank you, I know, just on the look out for every possible symptom 😂 Really is crazy how obsessed we become with symptoms and testing in the 2ww isn't it!

@Emilyadams98 I'm with you on the craziness of wanting to test early, waiting another week is like waiting a year! But don't worry I think most people still test negative on day 8 so definitely can still pop up at any time. When is you AF due?

@cosymama2020 fingers crossed for you tomorrow, I also plan on testing every morning from day 8 because I won't be able to wait any longer 😜got some early detection tests and that will be 4 days before AF due so hopefully reasonable chance of seeing something

Can any one see this squinter? I took a FRER I’m 9 DPO today🫣 I saw a very faint line a minute Into taking the test, but it disappeared after a while and could only see a slight shadow! Wasn’t as clear as it was while the test was still running.. any advice?😭

At first I couldn't see it but the more I look at the more I see a line 😀so fingers crossed for a darker line tomorrow!

Just went to the toilet and I had loads of creamy but stretchy CM, never had that before. I hope it's a good sign

Will test again tomorrow with FMU and check again! Easy@home stark white though.. but FRER is more sensitive.

I think I'll wait till 9dpo still. Just realised I had a temp dip today as well so could be implantation dip, or just a random one. So best to wait a couple days before I test. Trying so hard to not get my hopes up 😂

I'm 7dpo today, but definitely an early tester. I've been peeing on the cheapies since Friday morning. I find peeing and seeing a negative is better than not peeing and wondering. I won't count myself out until AF comes.
I've been having all sorts of strange symptoms - lotioney CM, dry mouth, cramps and lower back pain, seeing a lot, and nausea. Sounds like a lot of good things for a BFP, but I haven't got one yet.
I've been really anxious today as well. Not about anything specific. But there's this strange anxiety that looming over me. Not sure if that's relevant to anything.
Hoping to see some BFPs here in the coming days! Lots of love and baby dust to you all ❤

Fingers crossed for you, it’s awful I’m waiting for tomorrow to do the other frer but so worried it’s gonna be negative.. won’t get anymore till Tuesday either when they’re delivered 😭 TMI but I’ve been SUPER gassy today 😭 like oddly so all day long.. no other symptoms though!

@Myna13 yes welcome sweet!, argh see I wish I never tested because I HATE seeing a stark white test! I feel so frustrated! I feel you girl, I get anxious in the TWW just because of all the anticipation and worry 🫣, thats why I created this thread because it helps having women in the same boat as you who get it! Will be crossing fingers for a BFP for you and baby dust right back!🤍

@Emilyadams98 I've also been really gassy today. It could be something I ate though. Also, TMI as well - I've been pooping more frequently yesterday & today. Strange stuff our bodies 😅
Keep us updated about your tests! Hoping for a BFP in a few days time!

@Myna13 me too! All day today I’ve been pooping a lot 🤣 since the middle of the night so it can’t be something I’ve eaten! Maybe it’s a symptom.. with DD I had terrible constipation through the 1st trimester and had to have lactulose 🤣🤣 the things our bodies go through! But wouldn’t change it for the world. Thankyou so much! Will keep you updated tomorrow morning with the test. Will be 10 dpo tomorrow (when I originally planned to start testing 🤣)

100%! The support and understanding keeps you sane when you get all loopy peeing on 30 sticks a day 🤣

@Emilyadams98 so cool how our bodies all react differently, and how every pregnancy is different. But also frustrating because there's no way to know except to just wait and pee 😂
I'm 8dpo tomorrow. But AF is due Friday and I've one of those 6 day early clear blue tests. If the cheapies don't satisfy me tomorrow morning, I might break one open. Keep me posted with your test, and good luck!
