8 DPO - BFN :( TWW buddies please!

I know I know… 8 DPO is FAR too early for most to test, and I wasn’t going to start until at least 10dpo.. but I caved and did a cheapie easy@home this morning and this evening and it’s stark white! I WISH I waited but I thought about how exciting it would be to see that positive result if by any chance I had implanted at 6DPO and just couldn’t resist.

So disappointed in myself as I’d rather not know if I am or not for a little longer then have a BFN but not being addicted to POAS because I know it’s so early and could pop up at any time if I am! You get more desperate when you see a negative.. need some TWW friends to keep me sane please and any success stories of a 8DPO BFN turned BFP?😁🤍

Thank you @cosymama2020 @Emilyadams98 @Myna13 glad you don't you don't think I'm crazy seeing a line that isn't there 🤣 but trying not to get my hopes up yet as could be nothing or could end up being a chemical. Will test again tomorrow morn and see what happens

I’ve never uploaded one of these before but can I ask what you think?
i don’t know how many dpo I am because I don’t track, but AF due Friday and 26 day cycle. I took this test in the middle of the day when I was super hydrated, I should’ve waited until tomorrow but I couldn’t help it. It may just be an indent. I’ve drawn a line where I think the line is. I think I’m just crazy. Dh says there’s definitely nothing there

I only just read that the clear and simple tests I’ve been doing detect 20mui and I thought they were 10mui haha

Congratulations to all the BFP! I did a cheapie test today at 8DPO and negative. I wasn't actually expecting to be pregnant this month (and we had actually decided to properly start trying this autumn) because we only tried four days prior to ovulation so the chances are very low but I have had cramping and feeling sick on and off for the past week as well as twinges in my left ovary so thought perhaps this month worked. Period is still five days away.

I’m the same @pepperminticecream I’m 9dpo and all tests are BFN at the mo. I tested my ovulation and we DTD leading up to it but he got ill the actual day of ovulation so I’m not expecting a BFP this cycle but obviously would love one!

Will keep testing in the mornings and then if stil BFN by Thursday or Friday I’ll stop testing unless AF is late ☺️

@pepperminticecream you don't have to do it on the day of ovulation to conceive, anytime 5 days before is good! And I actually read a study that highest probability was when dtd 3 days before so don't stress. Hoping your symptoms are implantation and you get your BFP soon 🤞

Hi everyone, joining if that's ok. Lovely to see BFPs coming through! We have just started ' seeing what happens' for what would be baby number 2. DS has just turned one and my cycle hasn't settled at all yet. I wasn't tracking but after we started DTD on holiday I back reached and looks like we started the day after I ovulated. I'm 8DPO now and trying not to test but you guys aren't helping it took 2 years to conceive my DS so know it will take time but I can't help but wonder. I've been getting terrible cramps for days now but know I'm looking for symptoms. The only symptom I had with DS was breathlessness and waited until 1 day before AF due to test. I'll try to wait it out until the weekend when I'll be 10DPO but we will see if I make it that far

So this is what happens when you can't wait and test too early. Couldn't sleep so did the only test I could find (a superdrug early detection pink test which goes out of date in 2 weeks 😂) and it was definitely negative. I don't think I can be pregnant because we DTD the day after ovulation was predicted but I'm getting such bad stomach cramps I guess I was just hopeful. I'll try not to think about it and maybe wait until the weekend to get some more although AF is a week away so if I can keep myself distracted I should wait until then.

10DPO today, tested with a FRER with FMU and big old BFN. Might test Friday then just wait until AF comes. The PMS/my mood was awful yesterday so I could be out this month.

Getting my usual pre-AF cramps now. I've been testing pdg which tests for secreted progesterone in your urine to confirm successful ovulation, and they were all positive 7-9dpo and this morning at 10dpo it was negative 😞 which means my progesterone levels are dropping early. Does anyone know at what point the NHS intervenes and prescribes progesterone?

No squinting today, line has definitely progressed 🥹 still trying to be realistic that it might not stick as still early!

Hi everyone. Sorry I've been quiet the last couple of days. I ended up in hospital with a severe migraine. AF was due yesterday. Did a test this morning. Thought I could see a little shadow but it disappeared 😢 can see what I'll be spending my money on now. Lots of tests

I caved and tested today. I actually can't believe it and I don't think I will until I do a pink dye test tomorrow as clearblue are awful for evaps and I vowed to never use them again. But I couldn't wait any longer and clearblue were the only brand available in my local shop. I'm actually shaking

aww yay! Look at all those positive tests!! I took one yesterday at 9DPO and it was BFN. I think I will wait now to see if AF comes before taking more. I have a feeling I will be negative this month which I feel fine about. We weren't going to start officially trying until mid Autumn because we have a lot of travel coming up and I had wanted to have a couple months of getting really healthy prior to really trying. Of course, I would be happy to be pregnant this month but if not then all is well.

Keep us updated @naggy095 but this looks like a strong BFP to me! I’m 11 DPO today as well and a BFN but not out til AF shows I suppose! I’ve kind of resounded myself to the fact I’m not pregnant this cycle though.

@cosymama2020 I'm also 11dpo today and got a bfn :( AF due today/tomorrow and isn't here yet. I'm currently ready for it to come so I can just get on with it and focus on the next cycle. But I have such strange symptoms today that makes me want to hold out for a few days and hopefully get that BFP. Ugh! Not knowing is the worst! How're you feeling today?
