@bringmearainbow also this little one will be due July? Did you not get a psychic reading about July being your month?

bringmearainbow · 29/10/2023 12:27

@ExMrsGrealish lol yes it totally is totally overrated 😂 hubby just said he must have super sperm that just looks at me and bam 🙄 oooh yes she did say July 🤞🏼 I'm seeing a new thyroid doctor on Tuesday so hopefully she can sort me out a bit better. My thyroid is actually really close to being optimal the gynae was happy with the numbers they were but I still think they can be better.

Ahhh lovely I'm really really sorry I'm so so gutted for you

curliegirlie · 29/10/2023 15:54

@ExMrsGrealish I am so so sorry. It's really really shit. Sometimes I think I'm lucky with my fertility issues, as whilst the past year has felt like a shit storm, it's probably been slightly easier to deal with than repeated CPs and early losses. Although it does all make me wonder what will happen if I do get a BFP - what are the chances of it lasting at 41...? Whilst when TTC my previous two I found that (mostly - bar one CP) once I finally got pregnant I stayed pregnant, that was 9 and 6 years ago. Not necessarily so 'simple' now.

@bringmearainbow gentle congrats 🎉 🤞I'm so hoping this is it for you.

TheBirdintheCave · 29/10/2023 16:02

@bringmearainbow Eeeeeee!!! Yes! 😬😬

bringmearainbow · 29/10/2023 16:30

@curliegirlie thanks lovely let's hope so 🤞🏼

@TheBirdintheCave 🙊 I'm still in shock 😂

ExMrsGrealish · 29/10/2023 16:37

@curliegirlie it is shit. You know I knew it wouldn't last. I wasn't expecting it to last. There's no chance of it lasting at my age. He seems to impregnate me easy enough but the physical and emotional pain with the loss isn't nice. He needs to get the snip ✂️ because I can't be dealing with this anymore.

Sorry for the rant. I'm just so sore today ☹️

ExMrsGrealish · 29/10/2023 19:56

@bringmearainbow how you feeling now? ❤️

@curliegirlie are you and DH still trying? I hate my hormones. I'm all like no way never again, 2 weeks from now I'll have forgotten this feeling 🙄

bringmearainbow · 29/10/2023 21:34

@ExMrsGrealish still can't believe it's real 😅 I've been to a new moon meditation evening tonight was actually really lovely and relaxing

ExMrsGrealish · 29/10/2023 21:42

@bringmearainbow 🥰 loving the unexpected ones!! Fertile week? Nah I'll DTD when I want too 😘 so happy for you xx

bringmearainbow · 29/10/2023 21:48

@ExMrsGrealish how you feeling lovely? I hope it's not too painful for you and your headache has gone ❤️ I really am shocked I really never thought that one time a couple of days before O would amount to anything hence not having any tests in the house 😂 also going to have to postpone my surgery now 🤦🏼‍♀️ xxx

LuckyMoonstone · 29/10/2023 21:51

@bringmearainbow it’s such an amazing surprise for you!

@ExMrsGrealish big hugs xxxx

ExMrsGrealish · 29/10/2023 21:59

@bringmearainbow bloody hell last night was awful. Not bleeding so much as that damn visual migraine. Spiky, sore pain today probably gearing myself up for a big ole bleed tomorrow 🙄

It is class though! Coz we only DTD once too (second time a child walked in but that's a separate, mortifying story🙈) plenty of time for surgery 😉 keep us updated, really feeling this with the July thing too...🤞🏼

ExMrsGrealish · 29/10/2023 22:04

@LuckyMoonstone ❤️ nearly got to 6 weeks..work will be brilliant tomorrow 😩

Angelselevenx · 30/10/2023 07:20

@bringmearainbow amazing news lovely, have you tested anymore? X

bringmearainbow · 30/10/2023 09:50

@ExMrsGrealish oh gosh any parents worst nightmare 🙈 luckily it's not an urgent surgery just a trapped nerve that's been there forever 🤦🏼‍♀️ how you feeling this morning?

@Angelselevenx thanks lovely. I did one this morning to check it's still real 😂 I need to ring the EPU and start that whole process I have a couple of tests left but the EPU will blood test me anyway

POAS..the last hurrah 🌈
Angelselevenx · 30/10/2023 10:20

@bringmearainbow wow look at that progression, congratulations 😊

curliegirlie · 30/10/2023 10:44

@ExMrsGrealish Yep. Back in July I said I needed to give it a few months more and I wasn't ready to close the door, and he agreed to fudge together a reason for MIL to not donate our travel cot, which she's been desperate to get shot of. The extent to which he's really taken that in is another matter, he keeps talking about getting a dog and things! But yeah, basically if I'm not pregnant by the end of the year, it's back to contraception 😢 What are people's experiences of Depo? I'm a bit reluctant as I HATED my implant with a passion (and it's the same hormone isn't it?) but I think I need an alternative option in case they don't let me back on the combined pill at the grand old age of 41.

Again, I'm so so sorry that keeps happening to you. Absolutely soul destroying.

Angelselevenx · 30/10/2023 11:07

@curliegirlie I didn't get on well with the depo but I was on the patch before coming off last December and I absolutely loved it. Had no issues or side effects

bringmearainbow · 30/10/2023 11:14

@Angelselevenx ❤️ how you getting on?

@curliegirlie I can't be of much help because I've only ever been on the pill but I watched a random video the other day as you do 😂 and the depo should only be used as a short term contraceptive I can't remember how long its should be used as a max but this girl had been on it 10 years and her new dr was horrified

Angelselevenx · 30/10/2023 11:15

@bringmearainbow hmm I'm alright, temps staying high which is good but not much else going on. I started seed cycling this month and also taking new wild supplements so I think that's helping with my temp and progesterone levels. You can see the top graph my temps up and down but it seems a bit more stable this month xx

ExMrsGrealish · 30/10/2023 11:25

@Angelselevenx I'm so hopeful for you missus!!

@curliegirlie so I've to avoid all hormones. But yea my friend is on the depo and loves it..she's getting too old now and they wanna take her off but she's resisting 😂 we had an appointment for DH to get the snip but he didn't fancy it and I didn't push him either coz I was still broody. Ugh it's so hard isn't it?!

@bringmearainbow amazing line progression!! Good luck at your appointment tomorrow ❤️

TheBirdintheCave · 30/10/2023 11:30

@bringmearainbow Lines are looking so good! Congratulations :D

I had my first midwife appointment today. As expected I'll be consultant led so lots more appointments in the future if I make it past the scan on Thursday. She also wanted me to go on aspirin so I start that tonight.

curliegirlie · 30/10/2023 11:57

@ExMrsGrealish oh God, I though Depo was progesterone only, like the mini pill, and didn't have an age limit. I really don't fancy the coil, but maybe just have to suck it up...

bringmearainbow · 30/10/2023 13:06

@Angelselevenx oooh looks good 😍 so many factors can influence temp. I can't remember if you're an early tester or not? I don't know how good it is but I saw a recommendation for this book on a Facebook group the other day. I ordered it on kindle but haven't read yet. She said it really helped her balance her hormones

@ExMrsGrealish thank you I hope she actually helps me and doesn't just brush it off it's so hard to find a doctor that understands thyroid for TTC and pregnancy 🙄

@TheBirdintheCave 🙊 thanks hun. Why did they want you to start aspirin? Only a couple of days to go! Did you start to feel better after the other day? What time is your scan?

Ahhh consultant-led care can be a real faff! I mean, hopefully hugely reassuring for you, but with DD2 I just remember the hassle of various thyroid appts and wishing I could have those blood and urine tests at my local GPS rather than a hospital where I was either reliant on DH for a lift or had to take a 1 hour bus ride...!
