I just went to pick up my pescription the kind gynae gave me £414 😳😳😳😳 ouch was an understatement 😂

Anyway ladies can you talk to me about progesterone pessaries give me all the tips please 😂

Progesterone - what a delight 😬. Only speaking from personal experience, I gave up the front way and did everything in the bottom (oooooo errrr!). Main reasons being I didn't need to wear panty liners the whole time, there was no leakage and it didn't irritate. Of course, there was the odd mishap 🤣🤣🤣 but overall it wasn't too bad. You get used to it. I didn't notice any side effects, after all early pregnancy is riddled with all kinds of symptoms it was hard to tell what was that and what was the pessaries! Enjoy 😉 xx

@FfoxRedN lol thanks lovely 😘 I think bottom might be the way to go 😂 I'm struggling to get hold of the EPU they've changed their phone system 🙄 if they don't answer in the morning I'm just going to go down there and demand they see me 😂

@bringmearainbow Which ones do you have? I got told Lutigest has to go in the front way but Cyclogest can go in the back which is MUCH easier.

@TheBirdintheCave I have cyclogest so that's good. It does say on the box you can do it either way but in the leaflet it says if your using it to assist in reproduction to use front and if your using it to help with menopause to use the back 🤔 have no clue why. Might just do a mixture of both and see how I get on

Urgh I am sooo annoyed, I spent all day yesterday having cramps and tightenings, stopped at about 11pm and I haven’t had anything today!

@LuckyMoonstone did you keep up the activities when the tightenings started? Eek so excited for you 😍🙏

@MrsJGrealish well I went out for a walk in the afternoon and I did loads of bouncing on my birth ball and other exercises with my peanut ball, but I’ve felt nothing similar today ☹️just the odd lower backache, and baby pushing down

Now pretend it's fertile week all over again and get DH into action 😜 🤞🏼for more pain and a lovely little baby bundle soon 💝 my last labour I made the mistake of resting whenever I felt pain so the bloody labour halted. A few star jumps in the antenatal ward kick started it 🙈 (probably very ill advice now but I needed that child outta me)

I've just spoken to my DH. He is absolutely hating life atm..it's too hot for him 😂 he actually sounds a bit manic 🙈

@MrsJGrealish haha I’ll have to start being a bit more active then 😅 I suppose I do need to get DH involved now as well 😆 I have a sweep on Thursday so at least I’ve got something planned to try and help.
Oh I god I don’t blame him, being all hot and stuffy and just wanting to be home and see you I bet! When does he get back?

@LuckyMoonstone he's back Wednesday night ❤️ I'm attempting work this week, my bleeding has calmed (for now at least). I took a sneaky pic of the computer screen when the dr went out to check with another dr. He wrote I had a complete miscarriage 2 weeks ago which is weird coz I never mentioned testing for pregnancy 🤷‍♀️ (sometimes it's best not to confuse the matter)

Hope the sweep goes well lovely..will keep everything crossed this kick starts the labour xx 🤞🏼

@MrsJGrealish What are the next steps for you now re the bleeding?

I got my crosshairs today so will start progesterone this morning and can test from next Friday when we go on holiday. Not sure whether I should risk using the hot tub there or not :/ I booked the cottage specifically because it has one 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

@TheBirdintheCave ive never been sure about the hot tub thing, is it just because of the risk of getting ill from a temperature, or bacteria? I don’t know if it would be that big of a deal in really early pregnancy

@TheBirdintheCave I've read it's a big no, can affect implantation? Obviously again I may to wrong

The plan for me is the scope when DH gets back, I'm being knocked out and they'll take samples. Dr mentioned a coil but when I pushed for more info he said let's just wait and see what we're looking at. Ok then 🙄😢

@TheBirdintheCave I think @MrsJGrealish could be right hot tubs are a no due to implantation 🤔

I finally managed to get the through to the EPU it was a mission 🙄 going for bloods on Tuesday. Have no more e@h tests but I'm happy with the progression and not that bothered about testing I just did it because they were there

Yea no it's good it's just I started blabbering about which coil I wanted, I don't want the mirena I want a lower hormone one, the dr got a bit antsy and was like well let's see what the biopsy says. Kinda like shut up, one thing at a time. I suppose I can see his point looking back now. The higher hormone one might control the bleeding better 🤷‍♀️

Ah god sorry about venting here. I'm defo missing DH 😂 I'll shut up now

Urgh god I feel terrible, I have eaten some very heavily fried food at our local social club this evening and it is not agreeing with me 🤢 definitely not pregnancy related, just a horrible constant stomach ache 😭

@TheBirdintheCave thank you, I feel better today but this is the second time in less than a week that something has given me a bad stomach, I must be extra sensitive at the moment 😣

@LuckyMoonstone I bought an electric hot water bottle to use at work. Unfortunately it also has a massage feature which sounds like a bloody vibrator 🤦‍♀️ gonna get so much stick tomorrow if I need it 😩🙈🙈 joy
