MoosMa · 25/02/2008 21:11

But what does it stand for? I've got all sorts of things in my imagination...

kayzisbroody · 25/02/2008 21:18

Im not 100% sure but I think its Good old F**K

MoosMa · 25/02/2008 21:28

Aha, I see. I'll keep my nouth shut next time!

Diege, back to the subject of MS, I had heard that vitamin B is supposed to be very good and some GPs will prescribe supplements but when I mentioned it last time she just brushed over it and gave me cyclizine instead. That worked ok to stop me feeling sick but made me feel very tired which made me feel almost as bad. I shall be trying eveything this time!

Diege · 25/02/2008 22:04

Evening! Glad your first day went well Cosmo . Hard to believe you have to do it all again the next day in a new job, as day one seems so overwhelming! You're on the countdown now anyway to ttc!
Moosma, think we are similar with our sickness! I was prescribed stemitil (?) but it didn't touch it. I've heard cyclizine is better - does it actually stop you feeling sick, or just actually being sick? I've also heard about vitamin B from the Blooming Awful website, so might be worth asking GP first next time.
Right, time for folic acid and then bed as I'm leaving house at 6.30am tomorrow. Speak tomorrow from work! xxx

kayzisbroody · 25/02/2008 22:08

Oh dear, I have a hell of a night with ds, he nearly fell out of his cot so I tried to lower it alone. Then I dropped his travel cot on my foot and there is blood all over the floor and my toes hurt.
So I chickened out and rang my mum she came round and helped me to lower his cot and got him to go to sleep after much crying and screaming.

I need a strong drink!

Night Diege.

Ps Dont worry Moosma

Diege · 25/02/2008 22:11

Oh no Kay!!! Sounds like something I'd do actually, while cursing myself for even attempting it in the first place! Have a (small) drink - we have to look after our pregnant ladiesactive ttc-ers on this thread!

Diege · 25/02/2008 22:12

Arghhh, why does my striking out never work with more than one word? You get the gist anyway . Right, I'm going!

kayzisbroody · 25/02/2008 22:15

I'll just have a small Bailey's

Thanks Diege!!

Diege · 25/02/2008 22:17

Cheers!

kayzisbroody · 25/02/2008 22:23

Yeah cheers.

I might go to bed instead of waiting for dh to get home.

Night,

largeginandtonic · 26/02/2008 07:21

Kay what a nightmare! Lucky your mom is round the corner. I have no family near me and for the first year i was here i had no one to call on at all, dh was away. It was so crappola, i found out i was pregnant the week after he went away.

I am a bit worried about timming with this next one, have been calculating my dates. Will post later and see what you all think. Must go and feed the 6 hungry monsters that are currently swarming round my feet!

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 26/02/2008 07:25

Morning all,

Ds slept all night after all the drama of last night.

LG&T, I dont know how I would cope sometimes if my mum wasn't nearby. It must be so hard to not have your dh there all the time.

NatalieJane · 26/02/2008 07:30

Good morning troopers

I went to bed at 9.30 last night, could hardly keep my eyes open, I had the whole bed to myself for the first 3 minutes before DH came and spoilt it, but he did make up for it so I'll let him off, and I was still asleep by 10.30 which is much better than 5am!!!

Kay, Ouch!!!! Poor you. It always hurts so much when you bang your feet. We were messing about with the kids just before xmas, we had their ball pit out and we were all chucking the balls about, as you do.... Anyway, somehow DH managed to drop one of my (solid wood farking heavy) dining table chairs on my foot, it broke my toe TBH with the weight of the chairs I am lucky it was only my toe that was broken but it blardy hurt! Hows the morning sickness today?!!

Heron those test's sound good, I think I have read about them before.

Cosmo, really pleased your first day went well And as Diege says, you are now on the daily count down to TTC'ing

Right I really had better go and get a shower, and get DS1 up, his cornflakes will be all soggy by now! See you all in a bit xxx

kayzisbroody · 26/02/2008 07:36

Morning Nat,
Morning sickness is back I'm afraid. I feel awful again. I have managed to eat half a crumpet.

NatalieJane · 26/02/2008 08:05

Whoooo hoooooooooooooooooo

That is no bug then!!!!

Sorry about the other half of the crumpet

kayzisbroody · 26/02/2008 08:07

It's ok, dh ate it.
My toes really hurt though.

ohjoy · 26/02/2008 08:12

Morning ALL! Kay, really good sign! fingers crossed for you

it is probably too early to start ordering those PG test strips, but i cant wait. and it is driving me bonkers.

it is a work day today - i work mon-wed.

we all had a good nights sleep last night, so pretty perky and happy!

period not quite here yet (a bit of spotting only) - so cant use clearblue fertility monitor yet either! urrggh i am so impatient to get testing.

kayzisbroody · 26/02/2008 08:17

Morning.
I hope it is a good sign too. Even though I'd rather not have morning sickness.

I feel exhausted too, but that probably has more to do with last night.

NatalieJane · 26/02/2008 08:19

I suppose that is one good thing about morning sickness, you can shed a few pounds(+). With DS1 I didn't really have morning sickness, but I couldn't eat anything except fishfingers, literally, 1 for breakfast, 2 for lunch and 2 for dinner, that lasted till I was 12 weeks, and although I was a size 8/10 then ( yes I am of myself!!) I lost over a stone and a half! Wouldn't mind something like that happening now, I'd be back down to a 10 if I lost another stone.....

Heron, it is never too early to have those tests ready!!

kayzisbroody · 26/02/2008 08:21

I am determined to get back down to a 10 after number 2. Even if it means going jogging I will do it.

Im hoping that if I manage to BF it will help me to lose some weight.

largeginandtonic · 26/02/2008 08:24

Ooooooooohhhh Kay.... this is very exciting!

HAve fed all the children and dressed the 2 littlies, had a shower and washed my hair. I even de fuzzed in honour of possible GOF later Period finished yesterday. I figure sex every day just to be sure

I am going to look at those tests later, we should have called the thread 'testers (of any kind) annonymous. Next one!

Time for school run now so must dash, back later for date speculation.

Kay i think you should put your foot up and rest especially in your condition

Morning everyone else!

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 26/02/2008 08:26

I wish LG&T, the woman from the church is coming round at 10 to talk about ds's christening.
Also I'm at work tonight, I hate work.

Diege · 26/02/2008 09:00

Morning! Oh Kay it is looking very good!!! I know most people don't get MS until 5 weeks or so, but there are several mnetters who actually started to feel sick the day after conception, so very excited for you! Yes, def try and rest that toe too (at least you don't 'need' to GOF tonight anyway
At my desk, so will be off and on when I can get away with it!
G&T, you sound so organised!! I can't manage to get a shower with 3 of them, let alone 6!!
Nat, am I correct that you had yet another GOF last night??

kayzisbroody · 26/02/2008 09:11

Its probably just nerves not actual morning sickness.
I'm going to put my foot up and get dh to do everything today.

ohjoy · 26/02/2008 09:19

Kay, i heard that twin pregnancies can cause morning sickness a lot earlier?!
