I'm CD14 and got static smiley/positive strip OPK this morning. Flo has updated to say ovulation is tomorrow but I'm sure my O happens quite soon after my peak, is that even possible? I just get the feeling I ovulate on that day rather than 24-48 hours after my positive. Regardless, AF is due on 14th July as it always comes 2 weeks 1 day after my positive OPK.

@CinderRosie think you're right, I'm sure I read it can also be timed from start of your surge (e.g. 36hours after start of lh surge, not sure what the exact timings were)

@CinderRosie I think it’s deff possible, I’ve read it can happen 12 hrs after peak which is usually say 24 after the start of the surge.

the Fertility friend app told me it was the same day as my peak and easy at home said it was the next day. It’s probs hard to know for sure. But sperm hang around so I guess it’s not an exact science.

Need to borrow some eyes. I had a very strong positive yesterday (although was on CD16), judging by ovulation tests I think I ovulate early CD9. I didn't believe the test so decide to do another, which obviously wasn't strong but I think I see a shadow.

I asked my friend and she looked in person and believes she sees a shadow too.

Thoughts?

I can sort of see a shadow as you say. Was it the same brand where you had a strong positive yesterday?

Should say - If you are 7dpo, that’s pretty early to get a positive. I think that would be rare.

@LA7887 something seems off if you got a strong positive yesterday - at 6dpo? I don’t think it’s possible, I’m sorry, I know false positives are rare so could it have been an evap? Give it a couple of days maybe and test again… fingers crossed for you.

I'm just gona sit back and wait a week, see what happens. What will be will be. I've attached the test from yesterday, I just took it cause it was there. Didn't expect anything from it. X

@LA7887 hmmm those tests look a bit like they could be a dodgy batch tbh, that one from yesterday the line has no colour it looks like a very solid and bad evap line to me... And the one from today looks damaged... I would wait and get some different tests 🤞

@Kellyaust it defined had colour which is why I was confused. My ovulation test was also strong the same day.

That was just my nail that made the mark on the other test.

As I said I'll wait for a week and see how we go. Feeling very bloated and an upset tummy which was how I found out about my first x

Hmm! Definitely something weird about having a clear line one day and then much fainter the next, especially at 6-7dpo.

Hoping you get a clear positive when you next test. If it was me, I’d maybe try and get a different brand of test just to be sure.

@HavinKittens Yeah I might get boots as people seem to be favouring them just now and wait til it's more realistically going to show x

I’m pretty sure I am ovulating today. We DTD 2 days ago, and hoping we will today but DH is going out tonight so may not work out. If not I’m not sure our chances will be very good 😅

That was kind of our situation this month: DTD wed, thu, fri, sat, then missed Sunday, and again DTD Monday. Ovulation was Monday (or maybe sunday 🤷🏼‍♀️) so if it was Monday I feel like we missed the most important day!

BFN this morning, 12dpo, guess I'm out this month. But then if ovulation was Monday then it's 11dpo only 🤞🏼

Morning everyone! CD15 today, did a strip OPK out of interest this morning and it was even more positive than yesterdays, also loads of EWCM so I'm now wondering if I'm still yet to actually ovulate. We DTD yesterday and looks like we'll need to again tonight 😅

I told myself I wouldn’t obsess about it this month but it’s so hard not to!

When we got a positive back in Jan, we hadn’t had DTD on either peak day or O day, just the day before peak. So it’s def possible!

@HavinKittens same with my baby girl when I got pregnant 2 years ago!

Also that's another reason I'm getting concerned - I wanted them to have a small age gap (like 2 years) but she's nearly 18mo. Should have started trying earlier!!

@HavinKittens looks like we will be TWW buddies as pretty much ovulating on the same day!

@CinderRosie oh brill! I’m not sure when I will test. I don’t even have any tests in the house right now. What about you?

@LlamaMamma my little boy is 18 months. At this stage I’ll just be happy to get pregnant. But I know what you mean, I used to do lots of calculations about how old he would be and what the gap would be like.
