Unsure on test result

I am due on in a few days time, started getting pregnancy symptoms just the odd sickness. I did a 6 day early one, ideally would have used First Response as they are more sensitive but could only grab clear blue.

I think its an evap line as it didn’t come up immediately. Same test, a photo in day light and a photo under the room light for reference

I'd be wary about FRERs as well sometimes. This was my FRER evap. Definitely wasn't a chemical etc as was having blood tests as well. It came up pretty quickly as well.

@Poppins2016 Hmmmm I'm so untrusting now of frer, I probably would try another if I had one...but like @cgwx i also can't get hold of anywhere where I live, only online 🤷‍♀️

I've seen so many people post CB evaps and they have colour they're just thinner than what you would get with a true positive 🤦‍♀️ it's actually sickening tbh that these tests aren't made so this can't happen! It's not fair on us whatsoever 😪

@MuppetTime goodness me! I can see that line. I had one similar to that when I had my chemical but if you’ve been having bloods then it would have shown on there. That crazy.

@Poppins2016 hopefully it just means for us all we are testing so early that the HGC isn’t strong enough yet. The waves of sickness are strong enough though 🤦🏻‍♀️

Actually a question that's been niggling at me..... If we have "symptoms" shouldn't that be because of the hcg... So surely a test would pick that up when we start with these symptoms? Or am I wrong? 🤔

@Kellyaust its hard to say. You might have symptoms but don't forget the HCG gets stronger as it builds up. I mean my sickness waves have been bad and headaches have been awful and then body temp ive felt so hot all of a sudden the disappears

Please update with any news! I'm not bothering testing anymore now just going to wait for AF to show anytime between now and Sunday because I don't want to see another possible evap 💔

Regarding symptoms, the way I see it is that we only need a small amount of hormone to throw things off balance in our bodies, but a much higher concentration is needed to be picked up on a urine test.

I'm waiting for a First Response delivery that will arrive today, however I just did an IC (couldn't help myself 🙄) and the line is stronger than it was (much less squinting needed in real life)! I'll test again with the First Response tomorrow, which will be two days in between, so there should be a difference... 🤞

@cgwx this is exactly what I'm thinking! Early enough to affect the body, but not enough to be (easily) picked up on a test.

12 dpo today! Looking back at symptoms (crampiness) and BBT chart together, I'd guess implantation was around last Saturday. I complained about the cramps to DH, saying either my period was coming early or I might be 'about to be pregnant' (ta da!) 🤣

Forgot to add symptoms... I don't usually get early pregnancy symptoms (beyond changes in bowel motion - I'm sensitive during my period too - so that's almost to be expected)... but with this one (my third pregnancy) I've had an incredibly dry mouth for days, sensitive nipples, bloating, waves of mild nausea and irritability (I feel really PMSy)!

(To be clear, I had symptoms during the first trimester with my first two pregnancies, just not this early... it's hit me quite hard! Maybe because I'm a little older?! I'll be a 'geriatric mother' this time 🙄🤣).

So implantation around 8dpo? Wow I've had all of those but I'm also not hopeful at the same time. I've never had symptoms so early on either so I'm thinking it's probably just recovering from mmc still

It's really tricky... I remember having one cycle before I conceived my second baby where I convinced myself I was pregnant (nausea, bloating, etc) but it was just a wonky cycle and my hormones were probably all over the place (PCOS). On the other hand, it could actually be a pregnancy! Bodies (and pregnancies, even in the same individual) are all so very different, it seems...

@Kellyaust @Poppins2016 I’m preventing myself from testing! Its so hard. I think i’m going to wait till at least Saturday as by then its been 4 days since i last tested and a day after my periods due. good luck girls! I’ll keep you all updated. TMI — i thought i saw pink tinge this morning but it wasn’t but since i have had one tiny streak of stringy blood. So don’t know really.

i’ll keep the posted up dated.

Girls, I’ve given in. I’ve brought some but the Rapid CB ones not the Ultra Early as I’m due on tomorrow anyway. No FR anywhere so had to go with these. The cross will make it easier to know for sure over the one line.
