Unsure on test result

I am due on in a few days time, started getting pregnancy symptoms just the odd sickness. I did a 6 day early one, ideally would have used First Response as they are more sensitive but could only grab clear blue.

I think its an evap line as it didn’t come up immediately. Same test, a photo in day light and a photo under the room light for reference

The one from today is definitely an evap, see how thin the line is? The others I would have thought positive but the line doesn’t seem the same strength all the way through and I can’t see if there’s any colour to them.

I convinced myself they are both evaps 😂 I just don't overly trust CB tbh but can’t buy FRER anywhere

@cgwx I bought some "early result" First Response on Amazon the other day.

@Poppins2016 i mean’t in stores… i don’t trust tests off amazon. Wouldn’t be here till the weekend for me where i live.

Fair enough! I felt the same at first... However if it's any reassurance, I've only ever used First Response bought off Amazon and they've been fine so far (accurately tested negative and also accurately tested positive when I was pregnant, x2 babies!).

My early positives looked like that! I miscarried my first pregnancy but the second pregnancy test I took that looked like that is currently 10mo and sleeping upstairs 😂

Hi everyone - when would you test again? I don’t want to keep going out and buying obviously but i’m not sure what to do after yesterdays. Tell me to stop 😂

Well I can't/won't tell you to stop, as it's so difficult to retain self control when you just want to know! (I'm in the same boat !)

Having said that... pregnancy hormone doubles every 48-72 hours so if you can hold off a couple of days, you'll hopefully get a stronger line...

They were my CB evaps... 😅

@Poppins2016 i think thats it for me, i had a chemical pregnancy in December last year found out on my little boys birthday and then turned into chemical 3 days later… so for me i just want to know to put it to the back of my
mind. I want to surprise my husband if its positive with a cute little vest and a box to put it in, i think thats whats killing me the most 😂

i will wait i think because the lines (if they weren't evaps still convinced the second one was) were sooooo light it wont look much different on a test today so i think wait till Sunday at least thats 2 days over your period you should hopefully get a clearer answer then and not waste money on tests in the meantime as they are so expensive to maintain! I don’t even need a strong line, just a decent distinctive “oh yeah you can see thats a line” you know what i mean.

@cgwx yep and all tests I've done since are bfn so I've lost all hope

@cgwx this was my First Response this morning (after a shadow of a line on an IC yesterday). Such a squinter! I'll probably waste another IC strip tomorrow morning but won't try another First Response until Friday... currently approx 11 dpo so it's early days. I know the feeling, I won't be telling DH until there's more of an obvious (even if faint) line!

@Kellyaust have you tried any pink dye/earlt result tests like First Response or Boots own brand?

@Poppins2016 yep frer was the first one I did and this is what I got.... But nothing on any other tests since and I've used the CB with those evaps and one step strips

@Poppins2016 that was 8dpo and I'm now 10dpo 🤷‍♀️

@Kellyaust goodness, we're at such similar points in our cycles! Might be worth waiting a day or two and then trying another First Response?

I'm not entirely sure that I'd call those clear blues evaps, as they have some colour, but I'm not experienced with them (I prefer the pink dye early response tests)!

My ICs are showing a very, very faint line but you have to really squint... if it wasn't for the First Response result, I'd be doubting what I could see!

@Kellyaust @Poppins2016 i feel annoyed for us all because we just want to know. I normally go for FR but theres just none anywhere shop wise, only places like amazon or online chemists. And then its delivery charges and 3 days to come. By then you could come on and its a waste 🤷🏻‍♀️ I do trust FR more than CB
