fruitloop sorry to hear that you didnt get clomid but you are on the right road to get sorted

emmsy my mum is the same i have decided to avoid her this pregnancy as last time she had me so stressed out
i have been having pains but as far as im concerned they are stretching pains so ry not to worry

i have woke up this morning with a bump i am 11 weeks and wil have to hold it in for 10 days til i get my scan

hi sam hey we missed you! why do you have to hold it in until scan?
I still feel quite rough, better than yesterday but my temp went up even more this morning which is a bit weird surely your temp goes down when feeling a little better? Perhaps it's my mind over matter approach and a couple of paracetamol disguising how bad I really am I wish my temp would return to normal so I can get on with working my chart out

When I told my mum about being off the pill and my PCOS diagnosis she said "well you better go back on the pill then, that'll sort out your symptoms!" and "oh no you dont want another baby now, you must wait till you're in a bigger place" Thanks for your support mum!

everyone does not know im pregnant so want to wait til i get my scan then will tell everyone
id say people will probably think i have puton weight

Due in Nov thread is good Emmsy you should visit soon I'm sure your mum meant well, just think, that will be us dishing out unwanted advice in 25yrs time
Good luck with the scan Sambrads, don't know what the clothes are like in the UK currently, but at here the style is very loose and almost maternity like, so a bit of a bonus for hiding weight gain

sambrads thanks hun, I haven't had stomach ache today but am still getting my back pains off and on, going to try to ignore them from now! hope your scan goes well, its on 20th March isn't it?? what time?? my booking appt is 31st march at 1.30 cant wait!!

scully I may pop in and say hello soon! I just remember how horrible it was being on an ante-natal thread and then having a M/C you had to move your due date off the list, and you obviously had to leave the thread! It seemed to make the whole situation worse especially when you had already started to make friends!I often lurk to see how they are getting on still makes me feel sad that I'm no longer part of that group! Should pop my head in and tell them I am pregnant again, wonder if some of them will remember me??
If I'm still alive in 25 years time (being an old git!) I hope my marbles are still there so I can advise my children wisely without upsetting them too much!

Fruity mums are weird creatures aren't they? you think that they would want the best for you, but at times it sounds as its the total opposite, ignore your mum and you carry on TTC, thats if you haven't managed it already with your higher temps!!

my scan is on th 20th at 6.15 i could not believe that i am going so late but i dont mind as i am so excited !!!

Know what you mean Emmsy had to take myself off the Due in Feb08 thread, but I did pop on there the other week to tell them I had a bfp the week I should have been due, and they were lovely and remembered me. Saw my gp today and I bloods taken and again on Thurs to check hcg levels and am having a scan next Tues (will be 7wks) to check for a heartbeat. Might relax slightly more after all that is done. Nuchal scan is booked for 23/4 (dd1's b'day) so a long 5wk wait between scans, might ask for some bloodtests in between for peace of mind. But main thing is the gp was lovely and understanding and gave me everything I wanted

scully did you ask your GP to have the blood tests? I wasn't offered any even though he knows I M/C 2 times in the previous 11 months? X

I just did a test, pretty sure it was BFN but theres something there but think Its to early to say, 9DPO today, am going to leave it a few days

welcomeDisenchanted, you are best to leave it a couple of days, but I bet you test again in the morning! before I got my BFP I was a 'serial tester' so not the best person to ask! infact I tested again 2 days ago to make sure I still have a BFP!!

I know I should wait longer as I tested everyday with DS2 from 8DPO and didnt egt a + till 13 DPO!

I'm now on my next 2ww as of this morning! Early Ov as predicted by the EWCM. hope it all pans out this time! are you sticking around or moving to the antenatal thread?

fym I am staying here, in this cosy little room, can't face ante-natal thread again this early! I am going to wait until I feel this pregnancy is well and truly established!Probably go into labour in here!
besides promised a few buddies I would wait for them to get their BFP!XX

I sort of asked for the blood tests Emmsy. Mentioned that I had bloods taken last time and no problem was picked up until 12wks when I started bleeding. She straight away offered me blood tests 48hrs apart to check the hcg levels were rising and said I could have a scan as well. I am in Australia, but both dds were born in UK so I know this isn't always available with the NHS. I would ask/hassle your doctor though, to give you some piece of mind, if you can't get a scan before 12wks.

scully my scan is in 20 days so i'm going to hang on in there! My surgery only have male Doctors they don't seem as sympathetic as woman! and one of the docs is a friend of my uncle (uncle is a retired reverend who used to do missionary work,and the doc is a 'born again christian' hate going to docs its so small and you feel as though they all know your business, I know its all supposed to be confidential but just feels strange.

fym are you going to test on march 20th??

like poo I'm never ill! so when I am it hits me like a tonne of bricks I thought I'd be getting better by now but no, my temp's even higher than yesterday

now I'm starting to wonder if the reason for my higher temps on FF (just after ov) was because I was coming down with this very annoying bug. Maybe I didnt ov at all!

but would I have got 3 higher temps then a low one then extremely high if I hadnt ov'd? (iyswim)

fruity I'm sure you have ovulated! you were feeling better on Sunday and your temp was high then! you dont usually feel like sh** until your temp rises thats what causes all the headaches,aches,pains etc... keeping my fingers crossed for you. Have you taken paracetamol?? has it brought your temp down??
your temps bound to be higher than it should be when your poorly but im still certain your egg has been hatched
