I went to bed earlier with cramps that I was not too worried about, though I did put a hot water bottle on my tummy. But I was woken at 12.30 needing the loo only to find fresh red blood
Cramps are now continuing and I have been lying in bed trying to tell myself not to be a saddo and get up to tell you all but being unable to sleep anyway. So here I am

JB & Mibbes Thanks for the advice on the chart, yes I thought I'd OV'd late on day 17 but who knows! Can't tie it in with my OPK's coz I was too impatient to wait for a proper result and took the first one in first 3 seconds, when I realised that I'd not given it enough time I had faint lines so went through the bin looking at the others, useless! Will have to see what happens next month

I'm finally talking to DP, much to my frustration at having to break the silence - I think I did well though dont you! I asked him if he could get Fri afternoon off work and when he said why I told him about the scan. I said I was reluctant to tell him and he said "I like talking about babies but just not all the time" (We dont BTW. He likes to exaggerate, Lots!) "If you want me to come with you I will" Or something along those lines. So he's coming with me to hold my hand. It probably wont even be that bad.

Do you like my new name BTW? I have a big tummy to show for it

well i did a test and surprise surprise it was BFN im not goin to test now til friday if AF hasnt appeared but i am expecting her to visit in the next day or 2 so it will be cycle 6 for me then

Just got in and the first thing I did was log in here to catch up on the goss. Haven't had a proper read through yet but will do when DD goes to bed. Disney was brill..very expensive. On the train on the way back we were sat near the guy who does Doodle-Do on Cbeebies and DD noticed. He gave her a lot of attention and he's actually quite fit lol!!

TF I'm so sorry to hear about the bleeding, I really hope everything is OK, it happened to my friend when she was at about the same stage but it soon stopped and everything was fine. Maybe you should go along to the hospital and see if they can do a scan?

Well, have spent the day at hospital sitting about waiting for this and that.
A&E then waiting for consultant, then drinking and dying to pee. God that was uncomfortable!!
Scan showed no baby
But lots of other bits
So more waiting about for the consultant who said he wanted to take bloods and confused me greatly.
More waiting for bloods, then sent away for a while.
Back to get blood results.
My HCG should be about 6000 they reckoned, mine?

Consultant kept saying molar pregnancy? Fancy name Hydatidiform mole.

Seems to be, it began normally enough, but baddies took over and started to muliply, giving lots of PG hormones inc sickness.

I have to go for D&C tommorrow cos if they don't get it all out it could get worse and spread through my body creating potential cancerous stuff (possibly, worst case scenario) Upshot is that he wants it outta me then he can send it for tests to see if it is this 'hydati' thing.
Then I will be placed on a registar and monitored for a few months, up to a year! Until they think it is ok for me to try again.

Rubbish and horrid!
Just wanted to let my body do it's thing and then get on with trying again and forgetting all about it. But no, I will have to wait and be monitored and see what happens

Tinkerbell I wish i'd had my make up and had brushed my hair!!

Just wondering, does anybody know whether prenatal vitamins can help regulate your periods? I was just doing some research on the web to see whether there's any vitamins or herbal treatments to help me and I found a big list of vitamins etc that apparently can help. Well, I've just read the back of my prenatal tablets (which I've only recently started taking) and most of the vitamins are in these tablets. Anybody got any ideas?
