I made some of my own which I thought would be better but now that I am here, I think they are yuck too.
Gonna get my mum to help me make ginger cake today.
I just can't get myself to do it at home.
Hangover type illness just doesn't make you keen to bake.

mibbes · 01/04/2008 12:36

Ei chart looks very good indeed. I just love that dip on 9dpo... then the lovely high temps afterwards Do you know how long your LP is ? What CD does AF usually arrive ?

mibbes · 01/04/2008 12:39

Fairy good news that you sre still being taken away on holiday - you are so lucky !
Oh and Ei I am astounded that you have not tested by 12dpo ! Do you plan to hold wee and test later or wait until 13dpo ? It will be a record-breaking display of restraint from you if you wait until tomorrow, but I want to know now !

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 01/04/2008 12:51

lol mibbes i am planning on waiting til tomorrow sorry!im not too sure how long my LP is i am guessing at 12 days as on other cycles i have had what i thought were Ov pains and Af has turned up around 12 days later last cycle was 27 days according to FF as AF turned up on CD28. i had the Ov pain around cd 15 or so so i am guessing that AF is due over the next day or 2 but i dont really know
TF i was hoping that dip might have been an implantation dip too (obv!!) if it was what day would be best to test on is it 3 DPimp? as others have said?? if so that is today [excited emoticon] i know i know any excuse to POAS mibbes you have defo got the measure of me
hi to everyone else
xx ei xx

mibbes · 01/04/2008 13:12

well Ei as I said the other day, I tested the day after imp dip and got BFN then again 3 days after imp dip and faint BFP, so I reckon tomorrow would be a very good day to test ! Am quietly very excited for you my dear xx
I had appt with GP today and she said best to cancel scan as internal scans are best avoided once PG unless really neccessary. I am actually pleased as if they couldn't see beany I would just have started to worry. Did another test today (incase GP wanted proof !) and the line was really dark and came up immediately - hurray ! Have a MW appt booked for next week - oohh all feels a bit grown up and it is starting to feel real !

mibbes · 01/04/2008 13:13

OOh and I mentioned that have been in contact with chicken-pox infected nieces and she is going to get me tested to make sure am immune.

JollyBear · 01/04/2008 13:27

That is a great chart ei! I'd love it for you and bucky to get a BFP tomorrow.

mibbes How lovely getting to see a midwife next week! It must feel very real now. I'm sooo happy for you

I've just had a v faint line on a OPK so I am crossing my fingers for a nice dark line tomorrow and a Thursday ov! Last time they got darker over a couple of days I think. I'll do another one later on though, just to check .

Doesn't it feel good to have a second line on a test, even if it is an OPK?!

Glad to hear you are feeling well fairy.

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 01/04/2008 13:31

Tinkerbell2's post ov? chart

I dont think I've missed anyone

I should probably talk to DP tonight but I really dont know what to say I'm p'ed off and so is he. We might just have to agree to disagree on this one. Still dont know whether to bother mentioning the scan on Friday.
I tried to phone for my blood test results this morning but the fertility clinic is only open on certain days. I cant remember which, I'll have to phone back to find out. I wont know what all the figures are or mean anyway! haha

I knew Id go wrong somewhere!

Fruity's shiny new chart

MollieMooma · 01/04/2008 14:38

I feel so left out think I might have to join fertility friend!
I've been doing mine on a sheet I downloaded off the internet, but I'm quite jealous of your posh little charts!

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 01/04/2008 14:42

come on MollyMooMa we wanna see your chart! Do it now!

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 01/04/2008 14:45

sorry MollieMooMa I spelt your name wrong cos my name is spelt 'Molly' (ssshhhhhh) not many people know it's my real name!

MollieMooma · 01/04/2008 15:20

OK OK I give in I've done it, I've put down the last two cycles I only started temping last month, but I'm really confused Feb shows OV same time as my OPK's but not this month, is that because I missed a few temps at the beginning?

Here goes

www.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/index.php

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 01/04/2008 16:02

I was about to say, Wow, your chart is identical to mine! .
You need to go into "sharing" and then "home page set up". You'll see at the top "Your Charting Home Page Web Address". Copy and paste that and we'll all be able to see.

MollieMooma · 01/04/2008 16:11

Doh what a tw*t!

OK so here we go again!
www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1efe87

JollyBear · 01/04/2008 16:35

What an interesting chart mollie. It looks to me (I may be wrong!) like you might have ov later than FF suggests because your post-ov temps on your last chart aren't in the same range as the ones on this month's chart IYSWIM? The early post-ov temps this cycle are the same as your pre-ov temps on your earlier cycle.

What does everyone else think?! I might well be talking rubbish!! I read TCOYF and think I know better than FF!

tinkerbell2 · 01/04/2008 18:03

all these charts are very interesting
good luck ei for tesat in morn

mibbes · 01/04/2008 18:15

Mollie I agree with JB, looks like you ov'd CD17 which I presume you also think ?.. FF will probably change your lines after a few more high temps. You've got the fallback and rise pattern where you ov then temp dips right down then right back up again. Very interesting indeed.

xxhunnyxx · 01/04/2008 19:13

Good luck with the test tomorrow Ei got everything crossed for you x

fruity in my opinion you should tell DP about the scan, he might be disapointed if he found out that you'd been through a painful scan and you felt like you couldn't / shouldn't talk to him about it. I'd maybe just tell him that you will make an effort to talk about other things with him but you need to feel like he's there to talk to if you need him. After all, this is all in the aid to concieve yours and his baby so he should be involved in everything it takes to make the baby x

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 01/04/2008 20:02

Well I've made the first move by giving him a cuddle. I dont think he's even noticed I havnt been speaking to him TBH! lol

I'll see what he says but I'm really reluctant to bring up the scan. I really want him to be there more than anything but I feel like I need to make a point about not talking about it. Maybe it's no big deal anyway. It's only a scan after all - ok they shoot ink through me but hey ho. Not like there's a baby in there!

Conversation over the dinner table should be interesting! Maybe we can discuss the old faces on 'stenders which, BTW, is soo sad Poor old Frank

Just been for a quick loo dash again and flippin AF has gone again! She treats my body like a hotel Well, I hope she stays away this time

mibbes · 01/04/2008 20:05

Ei sorry forgot to answer your question about Argyle. I have never been there but believe it is a beautiful part of Scotland up there. Not far from the Isle of Skye which I plan to visit soon. I've travelled to the other side of the world but haven't been very far North in my own country . I live in Central Scotland, maybe Fairy has beeen ?

xxhunnyxx · 01/04/2008 20:45

fruity why don't u make an effort to strike up a conversation about something totally unrelated and then at the end just gently say something on the lines of.... 'just to let you know that I'm goin for a scan tomorrow and I'd really like it if you could come with me for support' and then just leave the subject alone. I get the impression from my DP that I do his head in when I go on and on about me gettin pregnant, esp since it's always my justification for any unreasonable behaviour at the mo, but I know that he'd want to come with me if I have to go for any tests etc.
I think that men just don't get the same sense of desperation or urgency that us women get. I know that every month I think that I have to make it happen this month where as my DP just doesn't seem to see the rush. Men! lol x

twinklingfairy · 01/04/2008 21:46

Funnily enough, having just checked with DH, cos my sense of direction is rubbish, that is where we are going in 2 weeks.
My parents have been over to Mull and said it was lovely. Isn't that where Balamory is set/based upon?
And checking the map, we used to live in Argyle for years. In Helensburgh, but it is not so nice a town now, apparently. Though it is still a lovely area. Our house used to overlook Greenock across the Firth of Clyde. It was lovely.

Here's hoping I am not too ill to enjoy it.

When are you going?

We went to the Lake District a couple of years back and it really is lovely there.
