JollyBear · 27/03/2008 11:10

Oh ei I'm afraid I have no advice but feel free to have a good moan about it.

I'm being naughty today and making up my temp! I rushed out of bed at 5.45, 1 hour before my usual temping time to chase away the cat that was attacking my toes. When I got up an hour later I realised that getting up, running around after the cat, having a wee and then less than 1 hours sleep, my temp wouldn't be reliable! So I'm giving myself the same temp as yesterday. I'm nowhere near ov yet so it doesn't matter. I'll have to get that cat sorted out before ov though!!

fruity Sorry you are feeling so down. It must be awful to have so many pregnant people around you at the moment. It is hard not to be able to think about anything else, I wish I could have a TTC off button in my head!

sparkly Have a good break!

morning ladies
hope you are all ok
me and Dh had a proper talk last night and we have decided that enough is enough we will both end up ill or crazy with the stress so we are biting the bullet and pulling out of the sale/purchase altogether. we had been offered the mortgage by our existing company and they were giving us 105% and nowhere else will do that now sisnce the credit crunch so it seems impossible and everywhere we have turned regarding moving house something always seems to be getting in our way so i think maybe it is fate playin a hand in it
ei's chart my temp has risen aswell not enormously high but alot higher than usual and i feel ok so no hint of fever etc
sparky woohoo on gettin your FF lines
mibbes YAY on the CB 'pregnant'!!! you will get alot of these little thrills over the next 8 months or so and it gets better with the baby when he/she is born it feels really weird and wonderful when someone first refers to you as 'mummy' other than your partner i cried when the MW said il hand you to mummy when DD was first born it is amazing!! (that goes for you too cricri) fruity any sign of the red aunt yet??

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 27/03/2008 11:28

oh i forgot to add aswell iv got a couple of symptoms
i have had heartburn for the past few days alot worse than normal, low cramps, weeing all the time (could be due to recurrent UTI), headaches and i am absolutely shattered today despite having a good nights sleep all of these could be attributed to stress but i am not having any of that i could do with something to look forward to today so they are my (hopefully) preg symptoms
xx ei xx

JollyBear · 27/03/2008 11:30

Golly ei you nearly made me cry with the 'mummy' thing! That is so sweet.

Good symptoms! Are you testing early or waiting it out?

mibbes · 27/03/2008 11:35

Ei I am at work and filling up ! OMG this is awful I'm going to get busted so soon at this rate, blubbing at the mere mention of a baby story ! Your chart looks very good missy ! A dip on 5dpo then it has been rising ever since... oohh ! I really hope low temps from underactive thyroid don't mess it up for you. Have to spoken to GP about that yet ? Glad you seem to be less stressed about the house - pity you are not moving but glad you are less stressed (not good for any potential beanies...) xx
Sparkly OMG I can't believe I have to wait until next Wed - you'll be 12dpo by then so ready to test ! Can you take laptop to Paris ?

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 27/03/2008 11:37

hi JB im gonna test on 3rd april how are you?? are you sure you are not knocked up too?? i only ask as you were number 3 on my list and number 1 and 2 both were BFPs (TF and scary) my other 'prediction' mibbes got one so i have something like a 80% hit rate at the mo i urge you to test for research and development purposes (i have still got a great feeling about you though so maybe it was a month out)
xx ei xx

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 27/03/2008 11:40

lol mibbes its even better when the baby says mama for the first time i cried then too (im not trying to make you blub at your desk honest)
my GP appointment is at 5:20 tonight but i have been reliably informed that it will be a locum and therefore not much help we'll see
xx ei xx

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 27/03/2008 13:40

Afternoon ladies, sorry about my moment yesterday, it all gets a bit much sometimes. I think seeing my friend's scan pic finished me off!
Still no AF but every now and then I can feel something going on

I forgot to set my alarm this morning so I took my temp an hour later than usual. I cant remember the rules for adjusting, anyone know? It doesnt really matter too much cos this is a very dull moment in my cycle.

Mibbes' pregnancy chart!!

Jollybear CD8, come on Ov!!

Ei 7dpo and beautiful temps!

JollyBear · 27/03/2008 13:41

Sadly not at the moment ei my temps are too low! I do hope your 'feeling' can carry over to this month though . You do have a very good record on this!! It can only help my chances!

Another week to wait for you then, there is so much waiting about with TTC . Hope your Drs appointment goes OK.

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 27/03/2008 13:43

Oh yeah, at playgroup there's a lady who I say hi to (but dont know very well) who had her baby 10 days ago. So that's now 4 births in 3 weeks! I thought she still had months to go cos her bump was so tiny! I couldnt believe it when she came in with her baby girl!

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 27/03/2008 14:07

Quick question + TMI!!

I've got a lot of CM at the moment, I keep thinking AF has finally arrived but she hasn't. Is this a pre AF symptom? Obviously I've forgotten what it's like to be pre-AF!!
I did notice I've put my knickers on inside out though! hahahha maybe that's a pre-AF symptom .

twinklingfairy · 27/03/2008 15:10

LOL at putting your knickers on inside out FL
Isn't lots of CM a sign of pregnancy or is there totally no chance for you this month now?

My DD is only 18mo now, so feel free to quiz me too if you want mibbes and cricri

I told someone else my news today, and will be telling my family tommorow lunch time.
Have ended up calling them all together, well, my parents and sister.
Sis was saying she had not seen me and B for a bit so I said to come up to mums tommorrow as I would be there. Only after I said it that I thought, oh no looks like I have called her so that she will be there to hear it too, as if I am calling in all the troops (or summit)
I am not making much sense. I just didn't mean to make a huuuge thing of it.

Then DH's parents will arrive tommorrow evening so will tell them then.
Seems weird, like old news that I will just go yeah, no biggy about.
But it is huuge news,....I think?

sorkycake · 27/03/2008 15:14

OOh NJ is asking the same thing on the other thread Fruity.

I'll tell you what I told her.

It's happened to me 3 times, that's all I'm saying or Ready may come and bash me for encouraging everyone to do that thing that I'm not supposed to suggest because that would make me norty.

iwswim

cricri · 27/03/2008 15:53

Thanks for the offer of advice Fairy - us first-time Mums are going to be spoilt on this thread!
Had lunch with a couple of close friends today and told them the news. One gave birth 8 weeks ago so was quizzing her on all the baby stuff She's promised to give me loads of stuff too, including a TENS machine and pregnancy pillow so that will be useful!
They were both really excited for me and because I've had 4 weeks to get used to the idea, I think I came across as being almost blase about the whole thing! But it is huge news Fairy, you're right. I'm sure your family will be thrilled.
Ei Sorry to hear you won't be moving, but as you say, sometimes these things happen for a reason. I always think that when obstacles start piling up like that it's a sign that it's not meant to happen.

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 27/03/2008 16:29

Yes sorky you are very "norty" for even entertaining the idea missus! I'm not paying any attention to you

Twinklingfairy yes I'm 99% certain pg is out this cycle. Just waiting for AF now after being prescribed Norethisterone Progesterone. Which, btw, I've found out is a form of mini-pill

SparklyMummy · 27/03/2008 19:43

Jollybear Thank you. Going to try not to think of getting pg whilst we're away and hopefully being away from home will stop me from testing too early!
Ei Not sure if my lines will stick around (unless I get pissed tonight lol!) How did docs go?
Mibbles I am taking my laptop. Don't get to Paris until Sunday so will hopefully be able to find a wifi connection in London over the weekend. Think i'll test Thurs which is when I have my results back too. Are you still going to go for yours?
Piper Where are you?

Have a lovely few days ladies and hpefully ill be able to get on to catch up on goss. If not, 'see' you Weds with a whole load of temps. xxxxxx

mibbes · 27/03/2008 19:58

OOh Sparkly it is going to be really rubbish not knowing if you are having symptoms or knowing your temps - I hope you can log in ! I've saved a comfy sofa on for you in the Dec thread
I am going to see GP to tell her am PG om Tue and ask if I can still go for scan on Thu - even though pre-AF spotting did not prevent BFP, I would really like to know what casues it in case it needs fixed for health reasons. I will be less than 6 weeks so I doubt they will be able to see much, but maybe they'll see beany ! My blood results may be there on Tue as the nurse said 2-3 weeks and that will be 2 weeks. I look forward to hearing what your GP says about your tests.
Fairy thanks for offering to advice, I'm sure I'll have questions for you . xx And your news in wonderful, your family will be delighted. DP and I were discussing earlier when to tell family - seems so surreal right now. I need to let it sink in first !
cricri nice one being offered baby stuff, i am hoping a few people will pass bits and bobs on to me as have loads of friends who have had or will be having babies soon It is a cunning plan being one of the last to have a baby

mibbes · 27/03/2008 20:01

Fruity what are you and sorky on about ? Did I miss something ?
Sparkly a weekend away is the perfect distraction from obsessing about symptoms - hope the days fly and you are back here with a BFP soon. Maybe by the time you get back Ei will be with me in the Dec thread having a cuppa and a natter with our PG feet up !

SparklyMummy · 27/03/2008 20:10

Mibbles FF suggests that AF will be due on CD32 (6th April) .. i've never had a 32 day cycle since TTC. It says I shouldn't test until CD36 but I might test on CD29 (3rd) but this will prob be too early even if I am 12dpo. Last month my luteal phase was 11-13 days (not sure-had OPK+ on CD18 and AF on CD31) so guess AF should arrive between Weds and Fri.

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 27/03/2008 20:17

Maybe you girls can help me actually

Can you have a look at my profile pic and tell me what the hell that is all about?

Emmsy1 · 27/03/2008 20:18

well girls, I decided to take the children away for aweek, to a haven holiday park in presthaven sands, never been to that one before, especially in this weather, but sure the children will love it as they adore bradley, rory, anxious and greedy and theres a heated indoor pool, will be going after my scan on monday, and I wont be taking my laptop with me! I will update you about my scan just before we leave, so wont see you sparkly until about 7th April, I will have to wait and see who has BFP's when I get back.

OP posts:
mibbes · 27/03/2008 20:20

Hmm 12dpo may be fine as I got BFP on due day or maybe 1 day late (LP 13/14) so I reckon by 12dpo you'd be either due or 1 day late too. Plus I got a faint line on 11dpo so may well have got BFP 12dpo if I'd tested...ramble, ramble . Anyway have a fab holiday and I can't wait to see what you come back with - hopefully a teeny tiny extra passeneger (that's what Ei said to me when I went on holiday and it worked !)

mibbes · 27/03/2008 20:22

Fruity I have no idea I have never used a test like that - is there a line in the BFP place...?
