fruits sorry that dp is being such an insensitive get, he may be fed up of hearing about babies etc... , but what about you living it, most girls would be in a terrible state having to go through what you are going through. I have always wondered how you keep so chirpy and find time to make others laugh when deep inside its tearing you apart. He want's to be grateful that he has someone like you instead of sitting moaning like an ungrateful bast~ He should be supporting you and not making off the cuff remarks like that, dont forgive him until he has really made it up to you!

fruits by the way, I haven't even spoke to my P for almost a week! So I'm not the best person to ask about men at the moment!

infact I would even say I detest him, he's very, very selfish, and he can look you in the face and blatantly lie to you, so I'm definately off men at the moment!

Mibbles Pre-ov temps are going on forever! Don't think DP will BD until tomorrow because of our 'every other day rule' so i'll just have to pounce!!
Emmsy Haven't noticed any CM today. Had (TMI) wet CM yday and the day before. Have been doing 2 OPKs per day and all - until now. Did 1 this morning and if i squinted and turned to the light there was a v faint + so maybe the LH surge is beginning?

I just did another OPK and the line was darker than this morning but not dark enough to be a + IYSWIM. Is that an indication that I am due to OV? I might test again tonight and then 2 tomorrow.

Ei that may be a thermal shift , FF won't put in lines until you have 3 high temps. Hope you've been BD'ing missus !

sparkly do another opk about 9 or 10 if its ++ go get him girl!, remember that I only had sex 2 days the month I conceived, the night I got my +opk and the following morning, I know were all different but its worth a try (check out my chart if you haven't already, its on my profile pics!)good luck XXXXXX

sorry if that sounded patronising, about only having sex 2 times and conceiving it never meant to be, some months we had sex before 'O' during 'O' and after 'O' and we still couldn't get the egg !

Emmsy I've done 3 today. Might be tempted to do a 4th even though I didn't get an OPK+ until CD18 last month and it's CD 16 today for me. I BD last night and this p.m. so hoping those little spermies will be lurking.

Have been trying for dc3 since Christmas (yes, I know, thats no time...)
Took 4 years to get pg with Dd1 and just a month to get pg with Dd2.
I got a bfn yesterday and my af turned up today. I am pretty gutted as I had a feeling I might be pg...

I would hasten to add that we only BD once, during OV period, not during whole month
I just wasn't bothered about getting a BFP this month so we weren't going all out to get one.

I have been trying to read whether BD less means that there is more sperm etc and so more chance of getting pg. Maybe i'm BDing too much - would be excellent news if i could get away with doing it less and still get a BFP!!
I'm hoping that next month i'll have a better understanding of my cycle which will mean that I can BD less and be sure I can do it at the right time.

Have a look at the Fertility Friend website, and get yourself a BBT (Base Body Temeprature) thermometer, oh actually, someone correct me is that the right terminology?
I started by doing the Ovulation Prediction tests/kits (opks) to confirm when I was ovulating, and once I was fairly sure and had completed a couple of charts, I knew my body inside out.
Also watching for Egg White Cervical Mucus (EWCM) and checking my cervix position helped. You want it to be high, soft and open, once you have felt it a few times throughout the month it is easy to tell

So thats temp temp temp, opks, EWCM watch and Cervical pursuits.
But I was really relaxed about it all, you know haha

I think the how often changes as to where you look. Some say daily, some every other day.
I read somewhere that daily was bad though, cos it dilutes them, but then someone else said every other day so that the second wave is stronger?
So I don't have that answer.

never I'd say go for it too but I can fully understand that you don't want to 'disrupt' anything. I seem to remember DG had a bleed (or at least pain) after a BD shortly after her BFP so I guess it is quite common but then if it is going to worry you maybe best not to. xx

Sparkly what temp today ? My Zita West book says that frequency of BD depends on DH's swimmers. Given that you are highly unlikely to know how 'good' they are until further down the line she suggests BD every day then if not PG the next cycle just every 2nd day. This cycle I sat on the fence and did every 1.5 days ! Fruity is right that too often can dilute them so don't be too keen !
Well much to my surprise my temp rose today, very strange. Spotting continues so probably just a blip temp. However I did an HPT as decided if even if was having a CP I'd want to know, but BFN. No surprise there but at least I know now. I had been wondering whether I could be having CPs but spotting prevents me testing.
Anyway the most surprising thing is I'm on here before Emmsy !!!

My temp has shot up. Does anyone know if Progesterone can effect temp? And so soon?

Morning ladies.
Temp rose slightly today but FF changed me from 'most fertile' to 'prob fertile'. I'm not due an OPK+ until tomorrow so i'll just have to wait and see.
Fruity How do you change the name of your link? I think the prog would change your temp. Have you googled it?

Mibbles Owww temp rise! Sorry about BFN. Could it be too early for a BFP? I've been BD every other day and then 2 days in a row. If I get an OPK+ do you think I should BD ASAP or wait until the following day? Thanks for advice as always.
