Sparkly that is a big rise but given that today's temp is lower than previous temps I'd say you still haven't ov'd. Last cycle I had a big dip then a normal pre-ov temp then ov the next day - so maybe tomorrow you'll get the rise which would mean today is the day so get to it just in case ! Having said that it wasn't like that for me this cycle so I suspect yesterday's temp was just a one-off.

OOps am so excited about Sparkly my 'twin' that I for got to post my own temp !
My temp has risen today which I fully expected as I had a few wines and cocktails at a work night out last night . However my guilt was shortlived as spotting started this morning . Probably have 6 days of this before AF starts properly. RUBBISH !

Mibbles Thanks for looking at my chart. I think you're right. I haven't had an OPK+ yet but think/hope that I will OV by Saturday (ff predicts this too). I hope your spotting is implantation and not the start of AF. xxx

Mibbles LOL at Easter beanies. I managed to BD and then lie down for 30 mins...is that long enough?

yes good stuff Sparkly, I read that you shouldn't wee for 30 mins after BD as this allows swimmers to 'stay in' so sounds like you timed it prefectly by lying down for 30 mins . Hope the egg comes along soon

mibbles Woohoooo. I got a feeling the egg isn't going to come for another 4 days so think I will have to keep trying to BD every other day till then. I'm excited to see what my temp is going to do tomorrow.

LOL Sparkly loving your enthusiasm ! I was the same when I first started charting temps and TBH I still really enjoy knowing exactly what is going on - it is great ! spotting continues here so expect temp to drop tomorrow. No surprise really, just a pity as we managed very well timed BDing this cycle but I knew it was unlikely to be successful. ho hum onwards and upwards

Mibbles Maybe temp won't drop tomorrow...i'm really hoping it isn't your pre-af spotting.
It's just nice to know what my body is doing because i've not really noticed OV symptoms before. Don't really notice EWCM and only started OPKs last month. I don't think it's going to happen for me just yet. Got a feeling i might need a little help. Me and DP decided to wait for test results before deciding our next step. Our friends went private recently and paid £60 per consultation but got help quickly. DP would love another one but says 'he doesn't mind much either way' even though I see the disapointment in his face when AF arrives. I just can't wait to know either way if there is a problem.

sparkly really glad your GP is going to sort you out! lets hope you 'O' soon and catch that egg so you dont have to go through all the tests.
mibbes I can honestly say, that after 18 months of temping, I am really glad that I have stopped it for a while, I was definately getting too obsessed with it! used to temp, everytime I woke up,before and after pees in the afternoons and evenings to see what the difference was, temped when AF arrived and through 2 last pregnancies, thats how I knew I was about to M/C! made a promise to myself this time that I would put the thermometer away as soon as I got 18 high temps, and have so far have stuck to it! its only now that I have stopped that I realise that I was very much a serial temper!

NOAM posted to you on the other thread, but will say hello to you again, helllloooo glad to hear your starting to look like an ellybelly, cos so am I, am really a bit worried about how much weight I'm already putting on, especially since I'm quite short, and now with easter here, just made a lovely trifle and some galaxy rice crispie cakes (2 large bars of galaxy!)so me thinks I'm going to look more like humpty dumpty than he does himselfI am still getting the odd pains in my side, trying to ignore them but cant wait for my scan, hopefully to ease my mind, have a few of the M/C avengers counting down to scan day with me, so have loads of support. spink is on that thread, its soo sad to see people on there after they have had a BFP (even worse when they graduate and end up back there) I have never really left that thread, don't want to get too cocky about this pregnancy lovely to hear from you NOAM keep in touch XX

I meant yesterday, its friday now, woke up about an hour ago and cant get back to sleep

The lovely FF have decided that's enough fun for now and taken away my ovulation lines (bugger). I knew I shouldn't have paid attention to it. Still it was a bit of fun and excitement for 18 days! And let's face it, I dont get much chance for that in my epic cycle!
So DPO is no more. I might just as well start the progesterone today. I knew it was too good to be true, and all that BDing, what a waste of precious sleep!
I'm seriously f**ked off today.
I was warned about temping too, why dont I ever listen?

Well as expected temp dropped right down today . Was surprisingly upset and had a wee sob to myself. DP was lovely and just said 'what will be will be'. I just want to get to the bottom of it all now, am bored of it all going wrong at 10dpo, but then I suppose at least I don't waste a fortune on HPTs. By the time I get results and fixed I'll be on cycle 6 or 7 so I really need to stop ttc for now and just wait. However there is no way I can stop now so I guess I'll just keep 'practising'.
Anyway, amusingly the first thought I had after 'FFS' was 'well I'm a lost cause, but hopefully Sparkly and Ei will have good temps.' So ladies I'm going to concentrate my efforts on you now ! What do you have for me today ??

Well, I've officially lost the support of DP.
I told him FF have removed my Ov lines so I'm going to start taking progesterone, His Response: "Do what you like" (in a shitty tone)

So I said "What do you mean? I thought we were in this together!" To cut a long story short he said "All you talk about is babies, PCOS and the wedding and I'm bored of it" I cant even type now cos I'm so upset. I thought these were things that couples get excited about together? No? So it looks like I'm on my own in all this now - well apart from you guys of course, I dont know what I'd do without you.

He said I need to stop gong on about it all the time (I honestly dont in front of him! I see his eyes rolling everytime i say anything so i try my best to avoid the subject anyway)
So now I'm going to feel guilty for even mentioning anything to do with babies (difficult as all my friends are having them), PCOS and the wedding. Surely we need to talk about the wedding? Why did he propose if he doesnt wanna be involved in the planning?
I can't do this all on my own. What happens when I have my appointments at the subfertility clinic? Do I go on my own? Do I not tell him? I really need his support, I dont know what to do. He said he is being supportive and I need to snap out of this depression about babies and PCOS.
Am I being ultra sensitive or something? I told him he has no idea what I'm going through. I have about 4 AF's a year, I might not even be ovulating in those cycles. Surely I'm allowed to be upset when all my friends are falling pregnant so easily.
He said of course I can have babies, I should count myself lucky we've already got a DS (doesnt he think I know this already?)
I know I'm being selfish, I know I should be happy and concentrate on what I already have but I really dont need to hear it from him.
Am I being silly? am I just being hormonal? Or is he being really unsupportive?
I was fine this morning. I'd accepted I hadnt ovulated but he just came in and made me feel like sh*t basically.
Is anyone else's DH/DPs like this?

Mibbles Sorry about the temp drop hun. We've all in this together and i'm often thinking of all you girls and wondering what your temps are and feeling the sadness when AF arrives or when you get BFNs. I'm so lucky I have your support (and everybody elses too).

FL hun {{{big hugs}}}} it sounds like DP has been a bit offhand and unfair to you. Maybe you should try to talk when you have both calmed down. Explain that he has really upset you and how you are feeling about the PCOS and lack of ov etc.. I know that with my DP the best plan is not to speak about it as he'd get really fed uo with me if he knew how much I obsess about ttc ! As far as he is concerned we have stopped using contraception and are just 'seeing what happens'. He knows I'm temping and have appts but just generally avoids the subject, TBH I think he doesn't want to admit he wants a DC to avoid disappointment if it doesn't ever happen. Sorry that has turned into a 'me' post which I didn't intend but just so you know that we are not all able to have deep and meaningfuls with OH's about ttc. Men are a funny breed.
Sparkly looks like still pre-ov temps keep at the BD'ing !
Oh and just to complete my crappy morning I have just spent an hours freezing on the side of the mototrway when my car broke down . maybe I should just crawl back to bed !
