TTC cycle #5 - 28 years old

Hi everyone!

I'm new to this but have been reading (probably too much) about your success stories

I'm 28 and myself and my partner have been trying for 5 cycles, I'm in the TWW at the minute so keeping everything crossed that this is the month

I've definitely got it in my head that I won't be able to get pregnant even though I've had tests (hertility) done and all came back fine.

I've been off the pill for 1.5 years, I was using natural cycles and we would avoid the 'red' days, now we're actively trying I thought it would be a lot easier and quicker than it is.

Please can someone give me some reassurance and share your stories?

For context, my periods are regular, around 29-33 days and ovulation tests/bbt show I'm ovulating every month

My temp dropped today and I got a negative yesterday so I'm out. Just want my period to start now so can focus onto cycle 5. Had really hoped to be pregnant this month and had allllll the symptoms. My boobs are still killing me which is just upsetting now as I know it's for no reason. 😭

Aw no, it's so hard not to symptom spot isn't it. AF came for me on the last day of my holiday ☹️

@95rose Awh no! Fingers crossed for us this month. Seems we're few days apart cycle wise! Let's hope for a June baby🥰

I'm 1DPO and getting exhausted with it all! Sick of it ruling my life, feel like I'm waiting for a period of my life to start and stuck in limbo if I'm honest

@riverlodge90 Still nothing! I had a break from tracking everything this month because it’s just got too much. I’m due AF in the next couple of days so took my temperature this morning and I’m definitely out. Just waiting for the next opportunity now.

I haven't had the temp spike that happens with implantation so I'm not getting my hopes up😩 fingers crossed it's your month! X

@LilSebastianMiniHorse @riverlodge90 how's everyone getting on? I'm currently 20dpo, have had cramps for the last couple days but no sign of AF yet (I'm 5 days late). I took my temp this morning and it was above cover line, fiance is asking me to wait till Sunday to test as we're out this weekend with family but I'm going mad. Attached my chart, I haven't been tracking bbt every day in the 2ww but can anyone give me some hope on whether they think this could be the month🤞🏼🤞🏼

You've got the positive LH tests, which even if you didn't ovulate until 48 hours later you're still got 18 temps above cover line.

I'm betting £100 you're pregnant!🤣🤣

Not yet! Waiting till Sunday as I'm at a Christmas party tomorrow and then out with family on Saturday. Will keep you updated! How are you getting on? X

@95rose wow You have amazing will power! Hope it's positive! Is this month 10/11 for you? Any symptoms?

I'm 9DPO, I've only got first response tests left haha so trying to hold out until Monday when period due. Last month we dtd every other day the whole cycle. This month decided just whenever we want, so unsure if twice was enough. But honestly past caring now, told myself if it's negative least I can drink at Xmas. But really would love a positive for Christmas to tell family!

Honestly... stopped worrying about it. Stopped tracking temp in the 2ww (I did do it a couple times and that's how I knew my temp was still high) I think stress is a massive factor and this month I tried to stay positive even after 11 months of trying 🩷 sending all the baby dust to you, I didn't think it would happen at all for me but it did so there's hope 🩷🩷🩷

At 28 I tried for eight months. Got pregnant the month I did fertility acupuncture but that may have been a complete coincidence! Got pregnant on cycle one with my second child (aged 30). Good luck, I'm sure it will happen very soon.

Congratulations 🩷!! Unfortunately it wasn't my time and we lost the baby at 7 weeks xx
