@justanothermummma I'm approx 6dpo and knee deep in symptom spotting! How are you?
@Favofit I hope the tests went okay. How long do you wait for results?
@LeopardLover how are you feeling? Any stronger symptoms yet?
Hope everyone else is doing okay wherever they are in the cycle. Xx

justanothermummma · 17/07/2023 21:57

@Bubblesandtroubles ooooh, what symptoms are most prominent?

My first AF post coil removal was 4 days rather than my usual 10-12 days, so my Flo app is all over the shop! Only managed to DTD once since mind as DH has managed to fall asleep a little too quickly πŸ˜‚

Favofit · 17/07/2023 22:13

@Bubblesandtroubles thank you for checking in ❀️
Both of our results came back good and there's no reason why BFP hasn't happened yet. So it's either natural way or ivf. Because we already have a DD we do not qualify for NHS funding. Meanwhile I'm 4DPO but dtd didn't happen much as testing was bang on in the middle of fertile window.

Sealover123 · 17/07/2023 22:18

@justanothermummma I'm doing OK how are things with you? Coming into my fertile window soon but I'm feeling run down and busy with work. DTD is not high on my wish list right now πŸ˜‚ Don't think this will be the month...

SnookyPook · 17/07/2023 23:42

@justanothermummma thanks for checking in! CD6 here so coming up to fertile week soon. Doing ok. Plodding on. πŸ™ƒ

DuchessofSuffolk · 18/07/2023 06:22

Busy shaggin’ 😈😈

Bubblesandtroubles · 18/07/2023 06:32

@justanothermummma I just felt pregnant yesterday! I had like a hot fuzzy feeling in my womb (or where I imagine my womb is!)
Sounds bizarre but can't explain it.
I've only been up 10 minutes today but think it may have subsided.
Quite a bit of lotiony CM (sorry TMI)
And a sensitive nose- very sneezy and a bit bloody (I've read nasal congestion can be a sign)
I was getting carried away yesterday but feeling more rational and cautious today about getting my hopes up.
The wait continues...
@Favofit good news that all looked okay. (though possibly a few mixed emotions because, if there was something showed up, might have been something to do to fix it?) But it does mean no reason why I cannot happen anytime and you only need one little swimmer so your once in the window might have been just enough. 🀞
@justanothermummma same for you - once can do the trick just fine!! 🀞🀞
@Sealover123 this was me this month too- if not TTC wouldn't have been anywhere near him! I'd say it was functional more than anything but I did enjoy it once we started and we managed to get a few tries on the board in the end! Xx

A95x · 18/07/2023 08:05

Hiya ladies I've been so quiet I think having June off when we went on holiday has put me in some sort of rut πŸ˜… I havnt been tracking again this month and just going with it , so my app is saying I'll be ovulating any day πŸ™ˆ how is everyone xx

OP posts:
SnookyPook · 18/07/2023 09:12

@Bubblesandtroubles everything crossed for you! Lotiony CM was my main 'different from usual pms' sign that I got with both my pregnancies and the reason I've not had my hopes up in my twws since the loss is I've not seen that cm despite having some other signs... So fingers crossed for you!

@DuchessofSuffolk lol πŸ˜‚ Hope it pays off!

@A95x ooh have you been DTD plenty despite not tracking? Good luck!

Favofit · 18/07/2023 09:37

@Bubblesandtroubles sounds like very promising signs for you, fingers crossed !! We're trying to stay hopeful, as you say it only takes the once ❀️

Fingers crossed it all goes well and lots and lots of dtd πŸ˜…β€οΈ

A95x · 18/07/2023 10:04

Yes plenty of dtd maybe a bit to much πŸ˜… I'm enjoying not tracking and being so obsessed and stressed it's nice just to take a step back xx

LeopardLover · 18/07/2023 12:59

@Bubblesandtroubles Eeeek! Crossing my fingers for you. How many DPO are you?

@Favofit It's good there's nothing to worry about, hopefully it will happen for you SOON. Strangely, I nearly missed ovulation and we only DTD once when I feel pregnant. Which is mad because the month before we were exhausted πŸ˜…

@A95x The non-tracking approach is often the best one! πŸ₯°

@Sealover123 @justanothermummma It's all about timing. Quality over quantity!

@SnookyPook Hopefully not too much waiting until you can get to it πŸ™πŸ»

@DuchessofSuffolk Love this for you 🀣🩡

Thanks for checking in! I'm actually suffering a bit. I had pretty much no symptoms with my son, but feeling horrific this time around. Only 6 weeks too 😫 I wanted a bit of nausea and here it is 😭 also struggling with mum guilt because I'm not as much fun for my toddler. Hoping it passes! πŸ’œ A friend just had a miscarriage (same timeline as me πŸ’”) so feeling grateful but 🀒x

SnookyPook · 18/07/2023 13:43

@LeopardLover ah that's tough with your friend. πŸ˜” And hard when you're navigating your own early pregnancy anxieties too. Interesting you've lots of symptoms this time - I wonder if it means a girl? My pregnancy that I lost was very similar symptom-wise to my ds so I kind of feel like it may have been another boy but of course not really any way of knowing and each pregnancy can be so different!

LeopardLover · 18/07/2023 13:46

@SnookyPook Yes, I was so upset for her! To be fair, the sickness is a distraction so I'm not as anxious at the moment πŸ˜… currently in bed during my lunch break πŸ™ˆ

Oh really? That's interesting. It would make sense for it to be a girl, but I feel like I'm destined to be a boy mum! X

Favofit · 18/07/2023 14:57

@LeopardLover thank you, we are really hoping it happens soon!!!

Hopefully symptoms ease a bit. About the sickness it's interesting as every pregnancy really is different. When I had my daughter I never had morning sickness and all the traditional boy symptoms πŸ˜…

justanothermummma · 18/07/2023 20:02

Aww bless you @SnookyPook ! I feel like time has slowed down since starting TTC! Days feel like months πŸ˜‚

@DuchessofSuffolk ahahah that's the way to go!

@Bubblesandtroubles maybe write things down that happen and it might help? My friend wrote down symptoms before starting ttc to sort of cross out what was normal for her and not, kudos to her dedication! But it did help her stress less. I must have had full on placebo symptoms last time, metal taste etc. πŸ˜‚ so when AF showed up I was miffed!

@A95x I'm not tracking this month either, mo ovulation strips, just going with it!

@Bubblesandtroubles @LeopardLover it's mental it just takes one eh! Suppose a high quality deed will be better than a load of 'sleep deprived deeds! We'll see anyway! 😴

@LeopardLover travel sickness bands saved me nausea-wise if you haven't already tried them! Sorry about your friend too, that's hard.

@Favofit I had totally different symptoms with DD2 so I was convinced it was a boy 🀣 but I'm destined for girls I think!

Bubblesandtroubles · 18/07/2023 23:29

@justanothermummma that's a good idea re writing it down. I'm driving myself crazy second guessing everything!
I've had nausea this evening but I think that's more to do with waking up to a migraine this morning. But then I'm thinking is the migraine itself a symptom?! Xx

CAGH03 · 19/07/2023 07:19

Good morning girls! Haven't posted on here in a while as we have decided I'm going to go back onto the pill :( it's a year this month since we started Ttc and so far, no luck. We also now have the wedding to save up for and moving house etc so it wouldn't be fair to be pregnant right now. However, because my Bc appointment isn't until this afternoon, I have been doing opks so I know when I not have sex. I got a VERY positive ovulation test 4 days ago. They've been VERY positive ever since. So I'm confused. Usually after a positive, it's negative the next morning. People have said to take a hcg test but it's been 16 days since my 'period' so don't think it's that. Has anyone else had this happen? This is a test I took about half an hour ago, still just as positive as it was on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and yesterday🀍

SnookyPook · 19/07/2023 09:18

@CAGH03 sorry no experience of this. When did you last take a HCG test? Are you feeling ok about going back on the pill? Sending hugs x

emmatcc1 · 19/07/2023 09:54

@CAGH03 I would still take a pregnancy test just to rule it out.

Favofit · 19/07/2023 09:56

@CAGH03 have you taken a pregnancy test ? I'm sure I've heard/read stories of such results actually being pregnancy.

LeopardLover · 19/07/2023 11:07

@Bubblesandtroubles Migraine is definitely a symptom! How are you feeling today?

@justanothermummma I just ordered some seabands - thank you!

@CAGH03 Woah, have you taken a pregnancy test recently?

Annapolis35 · 19/07/2023 18:32

Sorry I’ve been out of it too and trying to switch off. Hope everyone is well.

Likewise lotiony cm was my only real significant symptom that was different and which I’ve never had again since mmc like @SnookyPook so I’ve always known I’m not preg.

I am back in the 2ww I think. I did do opks but only for a few days and missed the peak as only did them once a day (and honestly couldn’t be bothered) and accidentally turned off my wrist watch temp so think I’m a couple of days past ovulation. It’s kinda nice to not be totally in tune! I’ve had a super stressful past week at work so I’m not hopeful but we managed to dtd.

justanothermummma · 19/07/2023 21:16

@Bubblesandtroubles I'm a chronic migraine sufferer but for none sufferers it's definitely a symptom!

@CAGH03 have you done a proper test?

@LeopardLover honestly sea bands saved me! Hope they work for you too!

@Annapolis35 how far into the TWW are you, or are you not sure?
