Hoping we all get BFP and sticky babies in this months cycle.

Its CD 1 for me on my 2nd cycle TTC, and it will be my first month tracking OPKs. So I need loads of tips on when to begin and how to track.

@HoneyBlossoms112 awww I love the way you worded that the perfect egg match up.

I was like that the first two cycles I was obsessed and time went so slow, then obsessed over symptoms.

It is really hard not to get caught up, we aren't going to do SMEP this month, and just tracking ovulation and DtD every other day I already feel it takes the pressure off.

Your close to the end of TWW, sending positive vibes your way 💕💕💕 xxx

HoneyBlossoms112 · 06/04/2023 07:51

Thanks @Babydustthisyear, I’m holding out testing until Friday, although to be honest I might just wait until AF does or does not appear!

Where is everyone else in their cycle? Anyone else in the TWW or all still in your “GOGOGO” phases 😛.

ShanTTC22 · 06/04/2023 07:52

@HoneyBlossoms112 I love the way you worded that, perfect egg and sperm match up, I have never ever thought of it that and it makes so much more sense for things sometimes taking a bit longer.

I always just get annoyed and think HOW has it not happened yet blah blah, but that’s really made my day seeing it from that perspective.

im in a similar position to you, at the end of 2WW, waiting for AF… but don’t really have as bad symptoms as I usual do pre-AF. ❤️

Angelselevenx · 06/04/2023 07:54

Morning, can I join please? I've just been through a chemical pregnancy so waiting for my bleeding to stop but I've continued tracking my BBT throughout so I know where I am.

Sending positivity to all for April! Xx

buckingmad · 06/04/2023 09:03

@HoneyBlossoms112 I'm on CD6, finally finished my AF so will start OPK's from tomorrow but I usually ovulate CD14-18ish. I find this bit worse than the TWW to be honest as there is literally nothing to do but wait! Can't even symptom spot 😂

Ttcdcno1 · 06/04/2023 09:07

Welcome @Angelselevenx sorry to hear that 😢its so tough. Sending lots of baby dust your way 💫

TunnocksTCake · 06/04/2023 09:12

Hello! Just waiting for af to arrive (hopefully today) after a big bbt drop this morning...
this will be cycle 6 for us, ttc no2. Had a chemical in Feb and a stupid long month in March due to delayed ovulation because I was I'll so just hoping for a normal month! 🤞🏻

buckingmad · 06/04/2023 09:52

@TunnocksTCake I'm almost identical to you. TTC baby 2, early miscarriage in Feb with a 38 day cycle in March.

Babyhopeful23 · 06/04/2023 09:53

@buckingmad we are both at the same stage! I’m on CD6 too. AF is just leaving. I’m going to begin OPKs on Saturday. It’s my first time tracking so I won’t have a clue! Hopefully this is the successful month!

@Babyhopeful23 I'm a seasoned pro at OPKs so any questions let me know 😂 main points are to use second morning urine if you can although this can be tricky if working! Try to test same time each day and then once you get a high reading test every 4 hours until you get your peak reading. You'll ovulate 12-36 hours after your peak reading so this is where temping comes in handy because you can look at your temp dip and work out how long after your peak you ovulate.

I think with my daughter it took us so long to conceive because I think I ovulate nearer the 36 hour mark and we'd stopped DTD out of exhaustion by then 😂

Un7breakable · 06/04/2023 11:33

Im having an odd cycle. Thought we weren't going to try this month but gave it a go CD11 as I ovulated CD13 last month and usually on 14. However now on CD15 and OPKs are still negative ahh. Might workout in our favour as illness prevented anymore attempts thus far.

emmatcc1 · 06/04/2023 13:33

@HoneyBlossoms112 When is your af due. Mines on wednesday and I'm 9dpo.

TunnocksTCake · 06/04/2023 14:02

@buckingmad spooky, my March cycle was 37 days! How long is yours usually? Jealous that you are 6 days ahead!! My body attempted to ovulate twice in March which I found fascinating, didnt quite get peak the first time so luckily I kept testing.

Af has arrived and now having checked fertile days I can see a challenge ahead in that Im away on a hen do on what will likely be O day. One night so I guess we will have to get up before DD (5am?!!!) Feel tired just thinking about it!
I am actually feeling ok about af, I knew I had little chance of conceiving in March and I realised I didnt get any of my PMDD symptoms at all, which is a miracle. I am usually sick as a dog with a migraine on CD 1 and lots of anger leading up to it.

buckingmad · 06/04/2023 14:09

@TunnocksTCake yes I thought I had ovulated around my usual time and thought I had just missed my peak LH but then a week later got round two of EWCM and then I came on 2 weeks after that so I must have ovulated the later date. Weird!

I think if you DTD the day before and when you're back you might be OK, better than not trying anyway!

RegardingPersephone · 06/04/2023 14:57

Hi all! I'm 3dpo and trying not to symptom spot but failing miserably! Lots of twinges around my ovaries and a bit of that 'pulling' feeling with some sore boobs. However, I could be imagining most of it or it could be PMT!
Two of my friends are now pregnant so feeling a bit low as would love for them to grow up together and telling myself a few months won't make a difference!

HoneyBlossoms112 · 06/04/2023 15:50

@emmatcc1 we are similar, I’m due on Monday, 10dpo now. Still no symptoms or anything, I actually feel less PMT than usual, but every month seems to be slightly different for me. Last month I started spotting at 11dpo which has literally never happened before, I got excited thinking it was implantation but was not meant to be. You feeling anything yet?

HoneyBlossoms112 · 06/04/2023 15:54

@TunnocksTCake one of my ovaries does this! I have a weird longer cycle every few months and usually I get x2 LH surges in these. I think I have one dodgy side and one good side.

HoneyBlossoms112 · 06/04/2023 15:56

@ShanTTC22 I also feel less PMT than usual, fingers crossed this is a good sign for us both, and if no luck then let’s at least enjoy this month of less anger and digestion issues 😂

emmatcc1 · 06/04/2023 16:04

@HoneyBlossoms112 I have been having a lot of creamy cm and sore boobs since ovulation almost which never happens I also have to pee more but I noticed that last cycle as well so not sure what's that about.

AlbaGracie · 06/04/2023 16:17

I'm 9dpo and going to try hold off testing until AF is due on Tuesday. I'm 32 TTC cycle 3 for #1.
I'm away this week but have packed a cheeky pregnancy test or two. My justification is if I cave to the pressure and I'm negative I can still have a few drinks with my friends 😂
No symptoms here but that's normal for me. Usually get cramps before AF from 11-12dpo.

Fingers crossed to everyone testing in the next few days too 🤞

ShanTTC22 · 06/04/2023 21:00

@HoneyBlossoms112 yeah fingers crossed for us both!!! But if not I’ll happily take a less hormonal month for sure!!🤣

Babyhopeful23 · 06/04/2023 22:34

@buckingmad second morning urine will be difficult for me. I’m up at 6.30 and out the door by 7. I might just have to start testing at work. I’m wondering if I could just put the test back into the packet and read the strips at home later? It’s so hard to know what to do. I’ll definitely be coming to you with all my OPK questions.
Best of luck @emmatcc1 @AlbaGracie @HoneyBlossoms112 @RegardingPersephone @ShanTTC22 and anyone else in the TWW!

@Babyhopeful23 fmu is fine if you consistently use it, it’s just that it is more concentrated so could give you a higher LH reading than you really are if that makes sense. But if you always use FMU then you’ll always be comparing against the same. Have you downloaded an app to store the results? They’re really helpful. I use Femometer but there are loads

Babydustthisyear · 07/04/2023 05:26

@HoneyBlossoms112 I'm waiting for ovulation so in the Go Go Go stage 🤣🤣 lol

emmatcc1 · 07/04/2023 09:36
