Hoping we all get BFP and sticky babies in this months cycle.

Its CD 1 for me on my 2nd cycle TTC, and it will be my first month tracking OPKs. So I need loads of tips on when to begin and how to track.

Hello ladies,
Im going to jump in in this thread too!
I’m 34, this is cycle #4 of tracking ‘properly’ for us. Not even a sniff of a BFP yet, and this would be my first baby.
I know it’s still early, but the mind races about if I’ve left it too late to try, or that something is wrong as it’s been x4 cycles. All my friends have kids, some of them were not even actively trying to get pregnant, and sometimes I’m feeling like it’s just not going to happen.
Anyhoo, I’m trying to stay positive as it’s not even been a year yet.
I’m around 7dpo and zero symptoms. Going to test on Friday.

I get what you mean. I'm 35 and on cycle 3 of TTC #1. Apart from two people everyone I know conceived within two months. I worry somethings wrong or I've left it too late. I've got a scan in two weeks to check for endo etc. Hopefully this wkll

Hi all! I hope it's ok to join. 36 years old, TTC number 1 and this is cycle number 8. Trying to remain positive and not give up hope! Currently 2DPO. Managed to BD on cycle day 8, 10 and 12 with a positive LH surge on day 12. Hoping it will be enough and timing was ok. Best of luck to everyone this month!

Hopefully this will be the month where we both get BFPs

miniworry · 02/04/2023 19:39

Hi @Babyhopeful23 I'm also on cycle two and was on the TWW thread with you for last month! Sending lots of baby dust this month 🌟

HoneyBlossoms112 · 02/04/2023 20:10

Hi @Un7breakable !
Im sorry that you are also feeling the stress. It’s so hard to not compare yourself to others isn’t it. I hope your scans help put your mind at ease, have you been having other issues to prompt the scan or is it a general check to make sure everything is working? Just curious as I might look into this!

I have spotting through cycle. Dr refused blood tests as my cycle is regular ish but referred for scan. I'm saving up for the hertily blood test if I don't get a BFP in the next few months .

Hi everyone!

TTC baby no.1 for 9 months now! I am currently CD28 and ovulated (according to OPKs) CD19! I caved and did a 8dpo test today and I’m sure I can see something but not getting excited! However this is the first time I’ve ever felt like I could see something! Fingers crossed and baby dust to you all ❤️

Babyhopeful23 · 02/04/2023 20:41

@Feliciacat thanks for sharing! Going by that chart I’ll be starting my testing from CD 9. I only have the boots cheapies to begin and see how I get on. It’s great having these threads to share advice. I wouldn’t know where to begin with TTC without them. I was lurking in the shadows the past few months reading along. We were waiting for me to be in my current role for 6 months so I can get Mat leave! Was dying to start trying.

@miniworry hopefully cycle 2 is lucky for us both! Is this your first baby? My LO is 7 years old. So this all feels so new to me, he was conceived this month 8 years ago (1st cycle) so im hoping it’s my lucky month!

AF is different than usual, I have terrible back pain and cramps which I never usually suffer from! But hopefully this will be the last one for the next few months!

OP posts:
miniworry · 02/04/2023 20:44

@Babyhopeful23 no this will be my second as we already have a 2 year old little girl but that was unplanned and happened without us even trying so it's strange to be tracking all this!

I'm the same as you, leading up to AF this week I've had THE WORST backache and stomach cramps! Feels so different.

Babyhopeful23 · 02/04/2023 20:48

@miniworry lets take it as a real positive sign that it’s hopefully our last one for 9 months!!! What CD are you? Did you use OPKs last month?

miniworry · 02/04/2023 21:00

@Babyhopeful23 fingers crossed!! I used the clearblue OPKs this month but never temperature tracked. How about
You?

Jellyfish1956 · 02/04/2023 21:11

@Un7breakable yes, I hope luck is on both our sides! Where are you having your scans done?

@HoneyBlossoms112 sorry to hear you are feeling the stress. I am right there with you!

@HoneyBlossoms112 sorry to hear you are feeling the stress. I am right there with you!

Local hospital. My main concern is not peeing myself as they want you to drink 1 liter 1 hour before, and I've got a tiny bladder.

ShanTTC22 · 02/04/2023 21:18

Hi @Babyhopeful23

joining in here! This is my first time posting in a forum! TTC baby no.1 for 9 months now! I am currently CD28 and ovulated (according to OPKs) CD19! I caved and did a 8dpo test today and I’m sure I can see something but not getting excited! However this is the first time I’ve ever felt like I could see something! Fingers crossed…

baby dust to you all ❤️

Babyhopeful23 · 02/04/2023 22:22

@miniworry no, I never tracked before so it’s all new to me. I do get EWCM but I never charted it so I cannot say exactly when it is that I ovulate. Hopefully with the OPKs I will be able to track a little better.

@ShanTTC22 welcome!! Omg gentle congrats, in the hopes of that line getting darker for you. Have you any symptoms or anything? What test are you using? Keeping everything crossed for you!

OP posts:
ShanTTC22 · 02/04/2023 22:28

Thank you! Fingers crossed! Scared to take another test now though! I have had loads of symptoms!
Back ache
AF like cramps since 2dpo
On and off breast pain (near armpits and random surges to nipples)
Sneezing / cold symptoms
Sore lips and mouth, ulcers (not had any in years!
Emotional
VERY hot flashes
sometimes feel a little nauseous after eating

I am using easy @ home tests!

Jellyfish1956 · 03/04/2023 21:39

@Un7breakable I would be worried about that too! If it helps, they make you do it as when the bladder is full, it pushes on the womb so that everything is in a straight line. It makes sure they get a good view :)

Wish1 · 03/04/2023 21:56

Hiya
hope you don’t mind me joining.
we’ve been TTC for 2 yrs with no success.
have been referred for treatment- anyone else on this journey.
sending you all the luck for a BFP! ❤️

FernaFrey · 03/04/2023 22:56

Hello everyone!

This is our 4th cycle trying, I’ve learnt a lot since cycle number 1 and have actually realised that these things don’t happen straight away! (For most)

I’m CD12 and a due to ovulate today or tomorrow so we have dtd Saturday night and tonight and will do tomorrow.

Weirdly I’m more relaxed about it than previous cycles where I wanted a specific birthday month etc…. How silly was I 😌

wishing everyone lots of luck! 💖

miniworry · 03/04/2023 23:01

Hello @FernaFrey sending lots of baby dust your way!

Any tips on things you've learnt along the way you'd like to share? I'd love to hear as we are 2nd month TTC !

ShanTTC22 · 04/04/2023 07:38

@Wish1 we’ve been trying for 13 months now, and also just been referred to fertility clinic/gynae. Wishing you luck ❤️

Babyhopeful23 · 04/04/2023 08:57

Welcome @Wish1 best of luck with your new plan TTC, I hope it’s successful for you and you get your BFP soon!

@FernaFrey its so hard not too stress and wish it happens every month. Our first boy was conceived first try and now I’m on Cycle 2 for baby 2 so fingers crossed. Send all the tips our way.

@miniworry are you temp tracking this month? I think I’ll have enough to focus on doing the OPKs and getting that right!

Strange as it sounds I’m excited for this month!

Babydustthisyear · 05/04/2023 17:13

Hey ladies, may I join this thread please.
@HoneyBlossoms112 I can relate to you, I am 32 almost 33 this is also cycle 4 for baby number 1. I hear you! To be be honest I had thought I would be pregnant by now and the cycles just keep passing, it is worrying but I do feel reassured with people saying how long it took them and it's normal for it to take 6 months or longer.

I definitely feel more calm about it all, currently in my fertile window, I was trying SMEP but it's a-lot lol! So now we are trying to take a more relaxed approach...wishing us all a successful April 💕💕💕

buckingmad · 05/04/2023 19:24

@Babydustthisyear the month we got pregnant with our first was the month we fully relaxed. OH was away with work a lot so we DTD when we could rather than according to my opks and temping! Obviously could be coincidence!

thecoffeerun · 05/04/2023 21:09

Can I join please ☺️ just waiting for AF to arrive in about a week and then will be on my first cycle trying to conceive, ovulating toward the end of April.

I've wanted a baby for so many years and we're finally ready to start TTC 🥰

HoneyBlossoms112 · 05/04/2023 22:09

Hi @Babydustthisyear , welcome to the thread! It’s hard not to get caught up in it. I’m always very ‘relaxed’ until I’m in my fertile window then I’m like “GO GO GO” and then obsessively track every detail until AF arrives. Honestly, don’t know why we torture ourselves! SMEP is too much for me, I’ve been DTD every other day in my fertile window. Surely that should be enough, just gotta wait for the perfect egg swimmer match up.

I’m 10dpo today and no symptoms at all. Just the usual bloat I get pre AF. I hear this means nothing either way so still hoping.
