March SMEP!

Hi all.

starting this thread as I’m going to try SMEP this month And thought it would be good for moral support to do it with other ladies. It’s worked for me previously. I’m on cycle day 7. So will start testing from tomorrow! Let’s do this!

So I managed to go through ovulation not testing only to start pregnancy testing at 4dpo 😂 🤷🏽‍♀️why do we do it to ourselves!

Ladies I just did a cheap hcg strip and got a faint line 🙈🙈 I can't believe it! I think I'm 12dpo the apps have me at 8dpo but I think I defo ovulated early based on the spotting I had.

@Blessedmummytobe lol yes U did 💕💕I'm in total shock I don't even know why I tested I didn't plan to I just did, Showed my husband he can see the line too. So I defo ovulated early even though clear blue picked up my surge after I ovulated and Premom too 💕💕💕

@Babydustthisyear so exciting! So when do you think you ovulated and when did the test apps say you’d ovulate?

@Blessedmummytobe I think I ovulated on cycle day 11 and clear blue and easy at home strip both matched up with cycle 14 (flo and Premom) also said 14.

I then got light spotting on what was 4dpo but it actually was 6/7dpo. My readings on cycle day 11 where low but I defo ovulated around then based off my faint line now

@Blessedmummytobe yes I'm sure you all will be, reading back over the messages and it feels like it's happening to someone else it has not sunk in! Can't wait to get it on the digital test maybe at the weekend 💕

One thing I have learnt from this journey is no matter how much we track you never really can be sure, I recommend just DtD all the way through the fertile window lol every other day 💕💕 I hope u all will be joining me soon xxx

One week to go…but I know my body. I’m out this round! On to the next…

Hey Ladies, quick update Iv done loads of tests lol the lines are stronger and I finally got my digital test this morning it's official 💕💕 sending all the baby dust to you all I hope we see more positives very soon 💕💕💕

how are you? I’m due any time now…took a test just in case (as going away and gonna take those period delay tabs)…I got this and it came up quite quickly. But I’m not sure - feint positive or indent…there’s a bit more colour in reality. What do we think?

@Blessedmummytobe oh my goodness that's how faint mine was and I'm now 4 weeks and 1 day 💕💕 I think it's a positive, I took a digital two days later and about 5 hcg and they were all positive....it's very similar to mine 💕💕💕 exciting xx

My AF was due yesterday now one day has passed I'm feeling better. No sickness yet and long May that last 🙈🙈 I have noticed tiredness but nothing I can't manage for now....I hear week 6 that can change lol hope to see you on the Jan 24 thread 💕💕

@Blessedmummytobe I am now 9 weeks. Feel pretty sick in morning and evening but I haven't actually been sick yet.

Had an early scan and heart beat etc detected at 7 + 3 so fingers crossed all is progressing as it should. Had first midwife appointment last week waiting on a date for 12 week scan.

@Blessedmummytobe it's called Due January 2024. I honestly don't mind at all I am just so relieved to be starting our family, if I go with my gut I have a feeling it will be a girl but I honestly don't mind whatsoever and I'm not finding out I want a suprise 🥰

@Blessedmummytobe heeey thanks for thinking of me! I haave you all in my mind daily, but have been rubbish at keeping up with threads this month.
lots going on.

Im doing okay. After this month we are sorting and booking private IVF.. scary times but excited nonetheless! Finally time to just keep pushing on.

I did manage to DTD when needed this cycle, but not sure where I am when I'd test and for once its a nice feeling haha..

If you have been doing the dance a lot you have a good chance.

i didn’t do it as much as Smep advised nor did I track - it took the fun out of it…but for all the opk so didn’t do I made up with pregnancy tests lol💜

where are you in your cycle now? Can you test yet? X
