I have brought the list across, fluffed the cushions and put some nice tea to brew. I baked muffins and biscuits too, help yourselves.

Have just been catching up on about 4 pages on here, really can't remember a lot of what was said
Hot here today, 32deg, so had a quiet day at home with dd2, apart from a couple of hours at an air conditioned shopping centre
Love the idea of a meet up, I went to a few when I lived in the UK, don't think I'll make this one though
CD25 for me today, can't report any symptons but also trying hard not to look for think about any either

fruitloop79 · 21/02/2008 09:32

morning ladies
i have got no idea whether i have Oved yet NOAM. i have been BDing every 2-3 days just to make sure we are covering things but as yet iv had no more spotting no pains and no EWCM so i dont expect it was Ov bleed just a bit of stray blood and i would LOVE to graduate with you only 19 more days til D-day
scully dont worry we will come to you if you want for the meet up we are hovering around 11 degrees here today so not anywhere as nice out as it is by you but i just look on the brightside...i cant handle the heat so i would be a big ei puddle if it was 32 deg here
FL strange about the spotting maybe its AF finally getting her arse in gear and ending your mammoth cycle or its implantation... its a PITA not knowing and thats comin from me so i cant even fathom how you must feel xx
JJB have you tested yet??
how are my other HCBs?? sparkly piper and LS by association any signs of Ov for you yet sparkly??
hi to everyone else
xx ei xx

fruitloop79 · 21/02/2008 13:26

Well, got more blood tinge today, still not AFy though. If this is AF then she's disguising the symptoms cos I don't feel it at all! No bloatation at all, not miserable, spots are actually fading - normally they're rife! I'm nt tired. In fact I have the opposite of all the normal AF symptoms.....Oh, please let this be ov! I did another HPT today, in fact it was a 'proper' shop bought one I had stashed away (superdrug) and it was (surprise surprise) a BFN. So defo defo defo not pg. So it's either OV or a very (unheard of)subtle AF

fruitloop79 · 21/02/2008 13:35

Can you still be ovulating even if OPK says neg? (well very faint line anyway)

Emmsy1 · 21/02/2008 14:32

sorry you had a cp piper fingers crossed for next month! congratulations to NOAM hope this is sticky for you x
lockets welcome to this thread, really sorry that you have had to join IYSWIM its terrible finding out at a scan, especially when you think all is well, that happened to me, back in 2000, I had a blighted ovum and still had all the pregnancy symptoms because the sack and was there, but the baby never developed, I wouldn't believe them at the time, so I got a 2nd oppinion from another hospital, it was heart breaking. My heart goes out to you xx
I am still reading all the posts, but have been really tired the last couple of days, two of my boys have had sickness and the runs and I dont really want to rub peoples nose in it if you know what I mean,I feel as though I don't have the right to be on here now that I have my BFP, please hurry up and join me! I am going to start a new thread called 'Emmsy1 waiting room' then I can hang around until you all graduate! Thats if I haven't M/C again!sparkly I have posted some photos of my 'tribe' if you want to have a look!
fruity sorry that your having a crap time with your cycle I cant offer any advice but I do hope you get your bean soon xx

Emmsy1 · 21/02/2008 14:34

heehee I didn't mean rub your noses in the sick or runs, I meant because I have my BFP!

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 21/02/2008 14:46

hi there emmsy how are you?? dont worry about 'rubbin our noses in it' (the BFP obv) you have just as much right to be here than anyone of us i had a sneaky peek at your pics you certainly produce beautiful children there are some of my DD on my profile im not sure whether you have seen them or not...or anyone else for that matter nice to see you
xx ei xx

MrsPuddleduck · 21/02/2008 14:50

Congrats Emsy1 - you posted to me on another thread last week and I didn't see it for a while. Thanks btw!

BTW I am not completely gatecrashing as am ttc.

MollieMooma · 21/02/2008 15:59

Emmsy like EI said lovely pictures and EI what a cool picture of your little girl laughing, so sweet!
Lockets-sorry you had to join but Hi, I had an mmc in January don't you just hate that your body fakes you the whole time into thinking everything is OK
Hopefully you won't be here long, hopefully none of us will!!

FL - did you find out what your faint line meant after? You need to give your cycle a stern talking too messing you about like this!

MollieMooma · 21/02/2008 16:12

DH made me laugh last night, I know a few of you have said that your dh's have been taking an interest in the posts etc, well I've been waffling on to mine about MN and all the acronyms etc not thinking for one minute that he was taking any of it in, well last night he nudged my arm and with a very salacious grin and a wink said "how about some Baby Dancing or should I say BD?"
Typical the only thing he remembered was related to a bit of nookie!!

fruitloop79 · 21/02/2008 16:16

Hi mollie it means -ve on the ebay OPKs. The line has to be equal in colour or darker than the control line to be a +ve. Yes it's really mucking me about. I just keep asking questions which I know there's no answer to. I suppose I just want someone to say "this has happened to me and this is what it means"!!!.

Treats · 21/02/2008 16:28

Hello everyone.

Sorry to have disappeared for a few days - went off in a sulk after AF arrived.

Having said that, I've been having the weirdest period ever. I had bleeding on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning and then nothing. I took the risk of not wearing a tampon to bed last night (tmi, sorry ) but when I woke up this morning, there was absolutely nothing.

The typical Treats period lasts for five days, with a couple of days pre-bleed, and then very heavy and painful on days 1 and 2, petering out in days 3 and 4. I've never had anything like this before. I don't feel AFy (to use Fruitloop's term ). I've got a bit of pain in my right hand side, but they don't feel like AF cramps.

Dare I ask - do you think this might not actually be AF????????

fruitloop79 · 21/02/2008 16:57

never say never treats just don't get your hopes up too much so you're not too disappointed . Maybe you're having some weirdo cycle like me. Maybe it's implantation or late ov? Do you know if you've ov'd this cycle yet?

Treats · 21/02/2008 17:39

Hi Fruitloop - yes I'm sure I have, although I didn't temp or use opk sticks, so I'm only going on the presence of EWCM which lasted for about a week two weeks ago.

I shall monitor the situation and if my AF doesn't start to act more normally, I shall test again at the weekend.

Mibbes - CB. Just wondered if there was any news from you?

Treats · 21/02/2008 17:50

OK - scratch all that. She's just come back.

Emmsy1 · 21/02/2008 18:40

Ei love your tum! hope mine gets that big this time round! how big was sian when she was born? my biggest baby was 6lb 13oz and my smallest 4lb 13oz. I am 5'3" and weigh approx 9st 6lb so I am already slightly overweight for my height, I would love a big bump without the big face, legs arms etc... I wasn't sure if I had caught the bug that my DC have had or if it's morning sickness, I'm pretty sure that its MS starting early? my boobs sometimes hurt and at other times they don't? although this time round my hpt has darkened, it didn't with the last M/C so hopefully that's a good sign. I have never had morning sickness this early with any previous pregnancies, I am 18 days past ov so hope this is another good sign? I went to see my doc on tuesday and he 'congratulated me' and wished me good luck!! I was expecting a telling off after he had prescribed the AD's and the mini-pill, instead he said that he knew I did not really want to go on the mini-pill! I told him I have been taking baby aspirin for the last week and he wasn't very happy with that, have told him I will stop but am still in two minds (Theres a possibility that I may have rheumatoid arthritis, although it has not been proven yet! I started suffering with joint pains ayear ago and have had problems with my eyes, dry eye was diagnosed at christmas,my sister has RA and is on Methotrexate, I'm starting to think that's why I may have M/C the last two pregnancies?)really sorry for the long post, you don't hear from me for a few days then you can't shut me up!

Emmsy1 · 21/02/2008 18:52

willmouse your welcome! feel free to come on this thread any time, there are a few girls on here that have also had some very long cycles.
