I have brought the list across, fluffed the cushions and put some nice tea to brew. I baked muffins and biscuits too, help yourselves.

Hi Josie. I haven't noticed the sick feeling with FA. I have forgotten mine today so have to remember it before bed. Are you taking it on empty stomach?

fruitloop79 · 20/02/2008 22:02

Sparkly PCOS doesn't just develop, you have it all your life. Symptoms come out around adolescence. I have always been hairy(gross), spotty (when not on pill) and very irregular AFs. Just thought that was normal for me and blamed hairyness on my family who aren't exactly baldies (except my dad!). Maybe it's your thyroid (I've got that too - underactive). Go get your blood checked

josiejellybean · 20/02/2008 22:04

i take it 1st thing every morning with brecky, ive been feeling a bit sicky for the past few days after taking it and i also get dizzy, AF hasn't arrived yet, but dont feel pg-shurly i cant be that lucky? it took 4 yrs to concieve dd?!

josiejellybean · 20/02/2008 22:05

check out my spelling !! sorry

fruitloop79 · 20/02/2008 22:06

well JJB Mother Nature is a weird and wonderful thing, never say never! (just try not to get your hopes up) Have you ov'd yet?

SparklyMummy · 20/02/2008 22:06

Had read that you have PCOS your whole life but I was on the pill from 16 and didn't start AF till nearly 15 so could have been controlled by this? I need to visit GP for blood tests I think. Hadn't thought of thyroid.

ScaryHairy · 20/02/2008 22:07

Well just thought I'd mention it! .

You sound a lot like me Sparkly - my cycles are 29-36 days, I have a day of blood then a break for 24 hours and then the rest and my skin is hideous. I saw a gynae a few years ago who thought I probably did not have PCOS (since I have periods fairly regularly), but I know I sometimes have ovarian cysts and that my hormones get out of whack (hence the acupuncture). So far the only thing I have found that helps is losing a bit of weight, drinking water and lots of multivitamins. Well, it makes me feel better!

SparklyMummy · 20/02/2008 22:08

They do say it's easier to get pg after giving birth!!

fruitloop79 · 20/02/2008 22:09

Well you can have PCO without the symptoms of PCOS but I think it's more likely to be your thyroid.
JJB Just checked the list, doesn't say what CD you're on............

SparklyMummy · 20/02/2008 22:10

I prob could loose a bit of weight but i'm 5'4 and 9st5 and feel healthy. I used to be 8.5 stone and I feel far better now. I do need to drink more and multivis wouldn't hurt.
I need to stop self-diagnosing.

fruitloop79 · 20/02/2008 22:11

sparkly were very similar. I also was on the pill from 16 and didn't start AF till 15.

fruitloop79 · 20/02/2008 22:12

AND I'm 5'4 and 9st5! this gets weirder and weirder..................

piper1984 · 20/02/2008 22:12

Hi HCB FL

i reckon you must have just ovulated. the first month i used opk's , i used them every morning and got a + on day 15, i was so happy to have pee'd on a stick that came up positive (yes sad i know LOL) that later on that day i used another one and it came up negitive? (i used the digital ones that give a smiley face for +)i had also saved up for a few hours before testing the second time and still negative the second time

josiejellybean · 20/02/2008 22:12

im nt sure if ive ov yet? had small bleed about 7 week ago but nothing since. my cycle lengths are all over the place too prior to dd, they could be anywhere from 28days ish to 90 which was the longest, i dont know whats going on because tests i had said i didnt have PCOS? maybe i will do a test in the next few days just to find out one way or another.

ScaryHairy · 20/02/2008 22:14

I know Niton St FL. In fact when my DD was tiny I used to go down there a lot to get to the river pushing the pram while the baby screamed her head off!

fruitloop79 · 20/02/2008 22:14

honestly, I'm not making this up!

SparklyMummy · 20/02/2008 22:15

LOL FL how weird!! Just read thyroid info. Think I might see GP for a test.

fruitloop79 · 20/02/2008 22:16

scary how funny! We;ve probably passed eachother many times! How old is your DD?

fruitloop79 · 20/02/2008 22:18

sparkly good idea. Thyroid's very easily sorted out, not a problem when TTC if in the correct dose of thyroxine. But, once you're on it, you're on it for life

SparklyMummy · 20/02/2008 22:18

I'll also ask GP to test if I am a fruitloop .
DP told me he was going to lie down so I am going too. I need the little boys!!
Chat to you all tomorrow. XxX

fruitloop79 · 20/02/2008 22:20

There's no treatment or cure for Fruitloopism

ScaryHairy · 20/02/2008 22:22

She's 20 months, FL. How old is your LO?

ScaryHairy · 20/02/2008 22:23

Goodnight Sparkly. I'm off to bed too. See you all later.

fruitloop79 · 20/02/2008 22:26

He'll be 3 at the end of june so erm........nearly 32 months. Blimey, he was born that long ago! thinking in months makes it sound such a long time ago! Feels like yesterday he was born!

fruitloop79 · 20/02/2008 22:27

we moved just over a year ago.
