I have brought the list across, fluffed the cushions and put some nice tea to brew. I baked muffins and biscuits too, help yourselves.

evening ladies

Hiya nursey07 crikey you really are a cycle veteran aren't you! . I wish you so much luck with Clomid. I've just been referred to a gynae due to PCOS. I'm really hoping for the wonder drug. You say you've been TTC for two years, how long has it taken to get prescribed Clomid? I'm really worried I'm going to be kept waiting for ever

Emmsy1 · 15/02/2008 20:47

After last months 48 day cycle I used all of the hpt that I had bought 'in bulk' from ebay, even when I knew I hadn't ovulated (being an avid temper!) I then started to use my OPK to test for pregnancy! I deliberately stayed away from ebay this month, to try to stop myself from testing too much,(it hasn't worked!) and now it's costing me more in hpt's from sainsburys.

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 15/02/2008 20:49

my cycles have been 28-30 days but the cycle before last was 35 days. last cycle was 30 exactly so hopefully its 30 and the other was a fluke gosh i go on dont i!! what CD are you sparkly??
xx ei xx

piper1984 · 15/02/2008 20:51

Hi Ei and Sparkly and Emmsy1

LOL at serial testing, i cant believe how good i'm being this month, i'd normally pee'd my way through about 20 tests at this stage!! technically AF is due today going on my last 2 cycles, not gonna test again until monday and then go to doc! arrange a scan and a head count!

Emmsy i've tested when AF was there too

SparklyMummy · 15/02/2008 20:51

11/12 depending on when AF started (brown discharge but should prob only count from bleed so 12)..We are nearly CB..i haven't had a CB before lol!

SparklyMummy · 15/02/2008 20:53

Piper Haha...how many are you hoping for?

fruitloop79 · 15/02/2008 20:55

I want a CB!!!

Emmsy1 · 15/02/2008 20:55

Ei My brother is a pychiatric nurse (and he's also married to a nurse) They live and work in Truro. I only know nurses from AP, although a friend of mine had her baby in the LWH (actually, I am pretty sure my cousin works there to, in admin, Sandra Davies, I don't suppose you know her, she lives in Meols?)

nursey07 · 15/02/2008 20:56

Hi Fruitloop

Yeah, it beginning to feel like we've being trying for ever! went to doc about 18 months ago. just got the clomid today. really hope you get it sooner. There seems to be a few clomid success stories here which is good. hopefully it'll work first time then i'll donate the rest to all other ttcers! :

Emmsy1 · 15/02/2008 20:57

piper it's really funny to know I'm not the only 'mad one' on here

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 15/02/2008 21:00

i will be everyones CB if you want so...
hi to HCBs FL and sparkly i have got a CB on the symptom spotters but she isnt over here yet so im all on my lonesome over here myself
xx ei xx

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 15/02/2008 21:01

emmsy sorry no dont know her but if i get a placement there i will keep my eye out for her
xx ei xx

piper1984 · 15/02/2008 21:01

Hi Sparkly

2 or 3 would be good, dont think there would be enough room for any more LOL
twins would be nice, as DH says it would save us TTC again for a while!!

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 15/02/2008 21:03

piper twins or triplets that would be lovely i would like twins i think but they would definitely not fit in my saggy sack of a belly
xx ei xx

piper1984 · 15/02/2008 21:03

LOL Emmsy

Yep we def mad

sorry i really going overboard with the smileys tonight

Emmsy1 · 15/02/2008 21:04

piper My sister was a twin (twin died at 10 days old) Every time I went for a scan I secretly hoped that I would be having twins, but it was never to be! I believe that it's supposed to miss a generation? I only have room in my 'people carrier' for 1 more
but if I did have more than 1 , I could put DH in my roof box!

piper1984 · 15/02/2008 21:07

Ei a cousin of mine had clomid triplets a couple of years ago

would love twins, i very small though so it will be a tight squeeze

my doctor reckoned i was high risk for multible................. havent been to doc yet though, gonna wait until monday

piper1984 · 15/02/2008 21:10

Emmsy it could be twins this time

Emmsy1 · 15/02/2008 21:14

must go now girls, DH has just made me a cuppa, and I must sleep soon (after my choc chip cookies!) I am getting up too early, usually because my 3 and 4 year olds have found their way into my bed, and are squashing/punching and kicking me! night all xx

Emmsy1 · 15/02/2008 21:15

piper I really wouldn't mind !
night x

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 15/02/2008 21:18

i LOVE watching the discovery health programmes on multiple births i would like to see how possible it is to exclusively BF twins or more though as thats my feeding method (in my mind anyway) and thats how i fed DD aswell it would be interesting to see the results for somethin like that. if i had twins i would prob give it a go and maybe get myself a wet nurse only joking i would love to try though
xx ei xx

mentalpup · 15/02/2008 21:22

Bit sad today. As well as being hormonal, DS decided last night that he no longer needs to be BF. 11 mths old so done well to feed him this long but sad nevertheless! God I'm in pain.
Hope that it will help with TTC though!

fruitloop79 · 15/02/2008 21:23

Thanks ei I'd love to be your honorary CB I don't think I'm ever gonna get a real one , >>>

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 15/02/2008 21:25

mentalpup it sucks when they decide not to BF doesnt it?? my DD decided on no BF at about 6months and took to formula straight away as she was too young to stop having milk altogether. at least now you can have your body back for a bit until you get your BFP not that that is much comfort to you xx
xx ei xx

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 15/02/2008 21:26

well that settles it then FL, sparkly and ei honourary CBs now anyone else wanna join the HCB group??
xx ei xx
