I have brought the list across, fluffed the cushions and put some nice tea to brew. I baked muffins and biscuits too, help yourselves.

I googled it....The week before a period, being pregnant or using the oral contraceptive pill are all typically associated with an increase in vaginal discharge.

fruitloop79 · 15/02/2008 14:21

Eleveld I have no idea I'm afraid, actually, you're right, you are supposed to be dry pre AF which I am so maybe my AF's on her way!
How many days past ov are you? is it time to test yet?

Sparkly thanks for checking my chart x

SparklyMummy · 15/02/2008 14:22

FL LMAO..are you trying to supress hunger? I really am serial posting today!!

SparklyMummy · 15/02/2008 14:23

FL No probs...sorry i'm so useless!

fruitloop79 · 15/02/2008 14:27

What does LMAO mean? I'm drinking loads so I get rid of water retention and those evil toxins

SparklyMummy · 15/02/2008 14:28

LMAO-Laugh my arse off..bye bye evil toxins...at least u can replace them over the weekend

fruitloop79 · 15/02/2008 14:30

glastochick · 15/02/2008 14:54

Hi fruitloop

Vit B6 is supposed to help with a luteal phase defect. My luteal phase is only 10 days so I have self diagnosed a defect . I'm terrible when it comes to self diagnosing. I'm going to try B6 for a few months to see if it makes a difference, then seriously consider seeing the Dr. Don't want to just yet because (a) worried will get told to go away because we haven't been trying that long yet and (b) going to the Dr will make it all seem so real and official and very grown up. I'd like to pretend that we're still "just seeing what happens" even though we all know I'm totally obsessed

kate2179 · 15/02/2008 15:01

Hi Mollie, lovely to see you here from the Avengers. I posted on temping the other day for someone else (probably a ridiculously long post knowing me ) If you scroll back a couple of days you should find it. How are you feeling about af showing up? Think I might be quite unusual but I was DELIGHTED to see af when she turned up after my erpc. It made me feel that my body was really getting itself back on track, that things were moving forwards, and that the time when I will be holding my baby in my arms must be drawing ever closer Hope it's the same for you, but feel free to come and have a rant if not xxx

Hello to everyone else After you all helped me decide that I should wait til the monday for my next scan, I spoke to the doc who's doing it yesterday to make the appt. He reckons friday, so friday it is! He said it wouldn't make much difference re how much we can see, and that if I have a healthy bean at 9+1 I'll still have one at 9+4 - I like his attitude !TBH am worried that if it's bad news on the monday I'll be buggered for the week (to put it bluntly ) and it's going to be really hard/VERY expensive for me to take any time off work atm. But if it's good news on friday I can enjoy the weekend This time next week I'll know... scary thought...

Eleveld · 15/02/2008 15:03

Ooh thanks Sparkly - will try not to get my hopes up yet though!

Fruitloop - I got a +OPK on CD 12 so presumably ovulated with coupel of days after that. so it's probably just a day or two too soon to test. I'm going to try and leave it until AF is actually late before I test

kate2179 · 15/02/2008 15:10

Hi fruitloop chart looks ok to me. I tried to post mine a while back for mibbes but I think the link just sent her to the home page. Your temp seems quite low but until you take it at the beginning of the cycle it's hard to say... Really you just need to keep going before you can spot any patterns. Ah yes, back to the old 'wait and see' game, what fun...! Good luck!

fruitloop79 · 15/02/2008 15:12

oh Eleveld I do hope it is a BFP! plese let us know ASAP!!!

fruitloop79 · 15/02/2008 15:14

thanks kate I hadn't realised it was low but yes I do need to wait and see

kate2179 · 15/02/2008 15:16

fruitloop maybe it isn't low for you, everyone is different. Didn't mean to make you worry . Sorry. Have you looked at any of the example charts on FF?

fruitloop79 · 15/02/2008 15:20

oh no I wasn't worried Just found it interesting, no I haven't looked at example charts, I'll have a look now

JollyBear · 15/02/2008 15:31

Hello all,

SM I thought that the week before AF was meant to be dry. It could be a symptom!

FL Mmm, as Kate says it is hard to tell but they do seem a bit low. Are you still bd'ing just in case the egg/ship hasn't sailed? Easier said than done on these long cycles though I know!

I don't think I have PCOS. I've always had erratic cycles but they were never a problem for me before - it was nice to have less AFs .

I spent AGES looking at the example charts on FF! My VIP membership has run out now though.

Good luck to all those testing this weekend.

fruitloop79 · 15/02/2008 15:46

Oh yeah, been Bding up to once every three days the whole cycle so far , mostly every 1-2 days! I'll be really p*ssed off if it hasnt worked after all this hard work! I'll keep going though anyway. I had a look at the "chart gallery" is that right? there's only one chart on there........?

fruitloop79 · 15/02/2008 15:49

JB your on cycle 4 right? how many months have you been TTC? I'm on cycle 3 in 6.5 months. Maybe you should go and get checked out, maybe just an underactive thyroid or something. I don't think it's normal to have such long cycles for no reason? Don't wanna worry you or anything but might speed up TTC a little if there is a problem?

MollieMooma · 15/02/2008 15:49

Hi Kate, thanks for the info on temping, think I'll give it a go from tomorrow, have printed out some charts ready.
I must admit I felt a little sad when AF arrived as it was the last reminder that's it's all over I suppose, but only for a minute or two then like you said quite glad as I'd been waiting so that I knew where I was with my cycle etc. At least I can have a "headache" for a few days now and conserve energy!
Good luck for your scan next Friday hun

Treats · 15/02/2008 16:19

Hi everyone

Hope everyone's well. Elveld - cycle buddy - I usually get some CM a couple of days before my period, so it might not mean anything. On the other hand - it could be a symptom. Like so many other things - it could go either way.

V. amused by the pram exchange earlier (probably about 10 pages ago now). Being child-free, I find it buggies really annoying, and have always insisted to DH that we would carry ours around in a sling when it arrives. Am now wondering if I might have to back down.......

SparklyMummy · 15/02/2008 19:40

Kate Best of luck for scan next Fri. Will be thinking of you!

Eleveld Anymore symptoms? Fingers crossed for you too.

Hi to Treats, Jolly and Mollie

I just went out for an early evening drinking (just 1) with DP and DD. Mutual friends were there were their kids..(3,2 and 10 days)....the baby was sooo tiny and I hugged him for 20 mins...he was asleep the whole time. This is going to sound really daft but it's the first time i've really connected this TTC stuff with a baby. TTC seems like a whole different ball game. Yep, that does sound daft!!

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 15/02/2008 19:53

sparkly when i was TTC DD i spent so much time concentrating on getting preg that i completely blanked my mind from the ending iyswim i never actually thought i would end up with a baby i thought i was going to be preg forever and it wasnt until i went to my scan that i had a panic attack about the fact that i had a person inside it is so strange thinking that the little BFP we are all going for isnt a BFP its a BFbaby
eleveld sounds promising on the CM front do a test do a test!!!!
xx ei xx

nursey07 · 15/02/2008 19:59

Hi ladies,

can i join you please, Myself and DP having been trying for 2 yrs now. I jsut about to start first month of clomid (on cd 35 now have long cylces) has anybody here had any clomid success stories?

SparklyMummy · 15/02/2008 20:00

EI I always knew there was a baby in there for DD but now i'm so excited about TTC and getting a BFP doesn't feel like getting a baby. He was so small and gorgeous and yes it made me feel broody but it also made me feel a bit anxious about how I would cope with Lara and a baby and hope that I could give her as much attention. It also reminded me of the sleepless nights and the childbirth and the every 2 hr feeds and the teething and so on...but i still want to do it again..how weird!

SparklyMummy · 15/02/2008 20:02

Nursey Welcome to this thread. (Whispers) Piper got an early BFP this week after her first month of clomid. There are lots of us looking to buy some on the blackmarket!! This thread is very luck. Are you TTC #1? Good luck!
