I have brought the list across, fluffed the cushions and put some nice tea to brew. I baked muffins and biscuits too, help yourselves.

Oufton · 14/02/2008 09:14

Congrats Emmsy and piper get that baby dusy sprinkled around.

Hello to barrelrider, I'm fairly new also and it's very nice in here.

hello to CBs, I've got a really odd symptom - my (.)(.)s are really lumpy, not sore or anything but just dead lumpy feeling - has anyone else ever had this?

napa · 14/02/2008 09:43

congratulations to emmsy and piper,
after yesterdays faint positive on a test i got free from the hosp i was planning to wait until fri to do a cbd but i am the most impatient person in the world so at 5am this morning i did the cbd and it turned positive before i had even washed my hands , woke dh up and showed him the test but he was too sleepy to see what it was!! even though i was practically screaming at him. just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this site, i learnt so much about cycles and temping and ff etc that i'm sure thats what helped as last time it took 22 months to conceive dd. i want to wish you all loads of luck and baby dust

Moonlit · 14/02/2008 10:11

Emmsy I am on Cycle 15, so you have given me hope Congratulations!!!!!!!!!

Moonlit · 14/02/2008 10:30

Napa Congratulations!!!! I hope some of yours and Emmsy's luck comes our way. x

glastochick · 14/02/2008 10:51

Waves to new cycle buddy Barrelrider

Was a bit peeved getting a -ve OPK yesterday. Last month I got one on CD15 and FF said I OV'd on CD17. I don't want to OV later this month as that will give me an even shorter luteal phase! Grrr

Still, BD'd on CDs 11 and 14 and will again tonight. After all, it's the law on Valentine's Day, right? .

Have just found out I have to travel for work and the first week I will be away will be when AF is due. Never like being away when AF is around . I'll get a chance to come home for a week then will be away again for 2 more, right when it's prime time for BD'ing again. Anyone know how I can get some of DH's swimmers and keep them so I can take them away with me? lol!

glastochick · 14/02/2008 10:53

Ooops, forgot to add HUGE congratulations to Emmsy and Napa

SparklyMummy · 14/02/2008 11:53

Barrelrider: welcome...this seems to be a lucky thread. Good luck.

Piper [whispers] YEY YEY YEY and so on...fancy keeping us guessing!!

Glastochick Do you watch Hollyoaks? You need to get one of those turkey thingys (bastors?) and a tub..that'll sort you out.

Happy Valentines day to everyone. We've just got back. I need to go and DD from parents. Had a quick read through what i'd missed so sorry if i've missed any1s threads.

Treats · 14/02/2008 12:06

HI everyone

Amazing news about the BFPs - piper, Napa and Emmsy - congratulations!

Just posted on the symptom spotters thread. Nothing very much to report after my "implantation bleeding" (oh I do hope so!!) on Tuesday, but have had a definite metallic taste in my mouth today, which I read can be a sign.

Planning to test on Saturday before DH goes away, but might be a bit early so will test again next week if I get a BFN.

Enjoy your Valentine BD'ing everyone .

mibbes · 14/02/2008 12:34

Congrats napa, lovely news
Ooh Treats I am so hopeful for you, imp bleed and metallic taste are fab symptoms ! I have zero, can't even make any up as absolutely nothing happening - starting to feel maybe not my month - or perhaps I'll be like MTW and many others and have no symptoms then BFP - I hope so !
Emmsy thanks for the info on your cycle and temps, it is always useful to see what other ttcers cycles are like - esp when they get BFP
glasto your LP doesn't really change between cycles so if you ov later then AF is due later. Did you do another opk this morning ? Although if you get +ve tonight you will time it perfectly with a valentine's day BD!
Oufton I have definitely heard ttcers complain of lumpy boobs as a symptom

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 14/02/2008 12:46

afternoon ladies (its MrsEi BTW for those who didnt realise)
WOWOWOWEEEE piper my cycle buddy for last month huge congrats to you luvvie
emmsy iKNEW we would have a regular poster BFP!!!(i said so on monday/tuesday!!) EXCELLENT news and to napa congrats to you too
welcome barrelrider NOAM if you see the bus before i do give us a shout i SSSOOOOOOO wanna get on it soon
oufton lumpy (.)(.) through the month are usually caused by hormonal changes when are you due to test?? could be a symptom
a big hi there and hello to everyone else
xx ei xx

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 14/02/2008 12:49

hi mibbes x-posted with you i posted on the 2WW thread to you before as i had another "mibbsey" dream last night we were back in the restaraunt like last time and you were still about 8 months gone you never know you might be having a no sympton BFP cycle fingers crossed
xx ei xx

Oufton · 14/02/2008 12:52

Oooh Treats the metallic taste sounds like another excellent symptom, I have very high hopes for you.

Thanks mibbes, I'm driving myself mad at the minute and think have now made them sore from poking to check the lumpiness, bah!

By the way, just for general info do people generally drink booze or not during the 2ww? I can't decide if I should be holding off or if it's safe just to carry on until you know for sure (apologies if this is a topic that's off limits!)

Oufton · 14/02/2008 12:56

Hello ei, they're not normally lumpy during the month (at least I don't think so, maybe I've only just noticed it) but I'm defo taking it as a symptom I think!

AF is due next Weds and I think I'm going to try and wait until then to test.

mibbes · 14/02/2008 13:08

oooH Ei am so privleged to feature for the third time in a dream - am convinced you have special-dream powers (but then I would !!) after you predicted digitalgirl's BFP. Am really hoping am having a no-symptom PG !!
Oufton it is up to the individual whether to drink alcohol, no rules here and no subjects off limits either ! I tend to keep away from alcohol during the week but if I have a night out at the w/d I have a few - not as many as I used to but I was a big boozer before ttc ! Lots of ladies had been really good until their 2ww around xmas and ended up with BFP that month, so maybe it helps
Also FWIW I am a boob-prodder too - just checking in case they are so faintly sore I need to encourage the pain...

Oufton · 14/02/2008 13:14

mibbes that's reassuring to know, I wasn't sure if I should be totally abstaining (which frankly seems mean if you then get a BFN anyway), I'm going out tomorrow night so I might sneak a couple in. And I'm dead sure the boobs need prodding to encourage the pain, it's much the same as poking a bruise to make sure it still hurts

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 14/02/2008 13:14

i have to confess...my name is ei and i am a boob prodder how am i supposed to know if they are sore if i dont give them a squeeze??
xx ei xx

Oufton · 14/02/2008 13:16

Is there some kind of therapy session we could attend perhaps?

Treats · 14/02/2008 13:32

I too am a closet boob prodder......

Oufton - I have to hold my hand up and say that I had two glasses of wine last night. It was quite a special night with a group of people that I'm very fond of, so I found my resistance weakening within seconds.....

I did make a point of drinking loads of water in between and during the glasses though, and felt fine afterwards and this morning, so hopefully it didn't do too much damage. Have been generally cutting down though and am not drinking anything like as much as I used to. Am also not drinking coffee during the day.

Oufton · 14/02/2008 13:43

oh welcome treats to Boob Prodders Anonymous, I'm even forcing DH to become one (not that he complained) just in case i was imagining the lumpiness.

Well done on only having 2 glasses of wine, it does feel mean having to put the social life on hold all the time when there isn't even a BFP. I reckon I'll be having a glass tonight since it's a special day, as for coffee there's not a chance I'm cutting that out yet.

fruitloop79 · 14/02/2008 13:47

my goodness, you lot can chat! I'm so jealous of you TTWers Can you all pray for AF to show soon for me please, I wanna get on with next cycle, pleeeeeeaasse!

treats don't mean to be a party pooper but I also had a metallic taste in my mouth last week, I got very excited! turned out the gum round my wisdom tooth had started bleeding . If you definitely haven't got a bleeding mouth then yay! great symptom to have if you're gonna have any !

Congrats to piper you sly thing , I'd love to know what the secret is to getting a BFP! Come on all you lucky gals, tell us!!!! We promise we won't tell!

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 14/02/2008 13:56

hi FL how are you?? i think piper was on her first clomid cycle like sam it really does seem like a miracle drug!! i would like some!! knowing my luck i would end up with a footy team in there and need a crane to get me the hospital when i need ti give birth LOL i am praying for your AF to arrive she has just left me so maybe shes on the way down to you now xx
xx ei xx

fruitloop79 · 14/02/2008 14:04

Yeah, my AF's so damn rude showing up whenever she feels like it, bloody cheek .
I just can't understand it, the scan woman said I'd ovulated (or it looks like it anyway) That was almost 2 weeks ago. If OPK was right then I ov'd about two weeks ago. I don't feel any presence of AF at all. Maybe she'll show up on Monday (two weeks from scan). Or maybe I'm just a freak of nature and my LP is mega long?
I know what'll happen, she'll show up tonight or at the party on Sat. Well, she's not invited!
I neeeeeeed some Clomid!!!!!

fruitloop79 · 14/02/2008 14:05

yeah ei Can you imagine being pg with twins or more? Now I know beggars can't be choosers but can you imagine the stretch marks??!!!
