I have brought the list across, fluffed the cushions and put some nice tea to brew. I baked muffins and biscuits too, help yourselves.

So, if your temps do the right things, then you defo ov??
I am not a VIP member to FF is that why I don't know when they suggest to test, or am I dim?
Some of you say, FF says to test on such and such a date, where???

My temp has shot up to 36.96[shock} this am.
Did it just now (just for fun. DH and I both test before bed. Why? I dunno I am always waaay hotter than him)
Just now I am 36.97!!
6dpo according to FF 8dpo according to me.

Mastitis is something that BF'ers get cos the baby hasn't cleared the duct fully.
Can you get it when not pregnant or BF?
Sorry if that sounded harsh, but I didn't know you could get it any other way

Eleveld · 12/02/2008 22:50

Hi

Yes, whilst it's most common when BF, you can get it at any time.

I had it years ago and do seem to be very prone to sore lumppy boobs each month. Just a bit worried about this one as it's gone on for ages and is particularly painful

Thanks

twinklingfairy · 12/02/2008 22:55

NOAM is right about the temp and flu symptoms. I got it, early on feeding DD, and I was sweaty and horrid.
Also big red angry marks on your boobs where the blocked ducts are, and your boobs feel solid where it is blocked too.
The only thing that helped me was, the Druugs man

twinklingfairy · 12/02/2008 22:57

oops sorry crossed posts
I am tellling you all about something which you are already aware
It is poop, hope they sort you out and give you the druuugs man

MrsEi25 · 12/02/2008 23:02

oi! NOAM speak for yourself...although i am quite gassy and i do have bags of the saddle variety so maybe...
eleveld sorry you are having problem boobies xx sounds like it could be either mastitis or cysts did you gp give you antibiotics?? i had breast investigations a while back as i had a lump which turned out to be hormonal changes but it is worrying hope you are better soon xx
xx ei xx

fruitloop79 · 12/02/2008 23:03

ei your so funny, jeremy kyle will be fun - even if it is all staged I had a sort of friend at school who went on Vanessa!
never I know, there's always something isn't there. xmas=choc,Valentines=choc,Easter=choc, plus all the b'days(=cake)it goes on and on. We have no chance at all. I know what you mean about a long wait. At least you know when to expect AF. I'm hoping temping can give me some tort of clue
Eleveld I hadno idea you could get mastitis at any other time (other than bfing) how awful for you

[all] Is it worth while paying for the FF service? or shall I just stick to the basics?

Right then, DPs winking at me so better get off to bding never know, I could still be expecting to ov - I have no idea. Happy tuesday night girls, nearly halfway through Night night x

fruitloop79 · 12/02/2008 23:09

MrsEi25 · 12/02/2008 23:22

I woke up at 3.00am and couldn't get back to sleep, temp was only 36.99 because I took it too early. I did me hpt and got a BFP!! It was only faint but still there, and it appeared straight away I am only 10 dpo so am not going to graduate until after AF expected. (Sunday) so very excited but really scared! I haven't told DH yet and I didn't take my AD last night (not going to take anymore!. spink I am so glad I read your post on ovulating early or I would have missed the egg this month.'thanks' mibbes hope you get yours soon xxx

fruitloop79 · 13/02/2008 07:23

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

07mumstheword · 13/02/2008 07:54

Emmsy CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! That is wonderful news. Let us know what your husband says. I'm so pleased for you, I'm on the due Oct 08 thread if you fancy coming over there are quite a few ladies there with no symptoms yet.

I still havenn't graduated (scaredy cat) so if you want to we could do it together when you are officially late.

ScaryHairy · 13/02/2008 08:13

Congratulations Emmsy - am very pleased for you.

Emmsy1 · 13/02/2008 08:36

Thanks fruity scary and 07mumstheword 07MTW .I would love to graduate with you when I am officially late (MONDAY) I'm not ready for due October thread yet though, I need to get to about 6 1/2 weeks before I will feel confident enough to start the ante-natal thread xx

sambrads · 13/02/2008 08:55

oh that fantastic news emmsy well done

hi ya fruitloop how are you doing honey any sign of that af coming???
how is the diet going???

mibbes · 13/02/2008 09:10

Emmsy former cycle buddy am soo pleased for you - hurraayyyy, yiippeeee, wooohoooo
That has totally cheered up my morning Well last cycle it was you, Kate and I that were CBs, so only me left...mibbes xx
Feel free to stick around on this thread as long as you like - I'd love to be joining you in 10 days

FL I still have the free VIP tiral so it tells me when to test - it basically tells you to test 18 days after ov (assuming no AF by then). And yes if your temp goes up and stays up for 3 days then they consider that to be the thermal shift which happens after ov. Temps then stays high until AF or BFP ! If temps are constantly much the same then maybe no ov that month. Your temps sounds quite high - is that higher than other mornings ? It goes up as soon as you move about/drink water/do anything so it is expected that it'd rise a wee bit between getting up and testing again. I meant to ask you, when you had scan were they able to see whether you had ov'd this cycle ? If not then the +ve opk may have been a PCOS LH surge. Are you still opking ? Glad you are feeling better about PCOS

Oufton · 13/02/2008 09:17

Oh Emmsy that's wonderful news and after so long trying, you're an inspiration to us all to keep on going and we'll all get there in the end. I'm thrilled for you.

fruitloop79 · 13/02/2008 09:22

Hi everyone

Hiya sam nope, god I love these long drawn out cycles of mine [not]. Diet: screwed up at the weekend but back on form today cos I've got a party to go to on Sat night . I bet AF turns up at party - watch this space, I bet I'm right! better not wear pale trousers! I think I'll go for some nice dark jeans! How you feeling?

Hiya mibbes I have no idea what my chart is doing, my temp is 36.44 today. I think Attila was right about not charting with PCOS. Oh well, it's worth a go. Only been doing it a few days.
The ultrasound lady thought it looked like i'd ov'd this cycle but would've thought I'd have AF by now if I had. Unless my cycles are so up in the air that I can't follow the two week theory. I reckon you're right about the PCOS surge - it's such a tease!

fruitloop79 · 13/02/2008 09:23

Oh forgot to say, thanks for the info on charting, I got all that bumf on the charting lessons but just too much to read so didn't bother

sambrads · 13/02/2008 09:46

hi ya fruitloop i am havig terrible sickness and so so tired but im ok

i am7 weeks this week and wont get my scan until 16 weeks which is 9 weeks away . i dont know when is the best time to tell everyone as im sure i ill be showing by 16 weeks

SparklyMummy · 13/02/2008 09:56

Mibbles Interesting that you have a similar cycle. Do you know why your cycle is irregular? I thought I understood FF until I tried to add my last period and couldn't figure out how to.
Emmsy Excellent news!!! About time we got a BFP. Congratulations! X
Evel If it is mastitis then I know how it feels. It's so bloody painful! I hope the problem gets sorted quickly.
HI ALL!

napa · 13/02/2008 10:01

quick question, have a pg test from a hosp its the one where it gives you 2 lines if you are pg and 1 if not. do the lines have to look the same, there are 2 lines but the test one is much lighter than the control one. came up quite quickly though (3mins). af not due til fri but couldn't help myself. thanks

McDreamylove · 13/02/2008 10:03

Sounds like a positive to me!! Oooooh congratualtions
