Might have been me moving info over from premom to FF. But I peaked sat on opk then DTD sat, sun, Mon, had Tues off and again yesterday so should be ok either way. If not we'll try again next month!

NatGee · 16/02/2023 12:45

@Matildahoney thats a good point @TunnocksTCake has made. But it looks like you continued to dtd which I think covers you just in case

Sounds like I need to continue for a good few days after FF tells me I ovulated. I usually stop at 1DPO

allgoodthings84 · 16/02/2023 12:51

I think most people do ovulate within 48 hours after that’s why the apps all say it as they all go with the average. I know I’m definitely within 24 hours as my EWCM goes and I feel it most cycles and had blood tests twice which pretty much confirmed it. If I ovulated any later the results wouldn’t have been as high

allgoodthings84 · 16/02/2023 12:53

most people within 24 hours that meant to say. We all know apps aren’t accurate for everyone they just go with the average

TunnocksTCake · 16/02/2023 13:07

@Matildahoney yes you definitely covered your bases! Just something to bear in mind when you start testing as it might be 2 days off what FF says! We're almost cycle buddies - one day apart, do you know when you will be testing?

@allgoodthings84 thanks, thats interesting. I'm pretty sure I did O the day after peak thinking about CM and I get sore boobs in the luteal phase which began then too, but I was just thinking it might mean I've been stopping too early... Anything to worry about, and I'll grab onto it!

allgoodthings84 · 16/02/2023 13:15

@TunnocksTCake everyone is different. We always stopped dtd ovulation day (day after peak) as it that was our last day in fertile time and I got pregnant 3 cycles in a row so it’s definitely not too early for us to stop but everyone is different it’s so hard to know

allgoodthings84 · 16/02/2023 13:16

This pregnancy our last dtd was peak day as couldn’t do it ovulation day.

Matildahoney · 16/02/2023 13:31

@TunnocksTCake haven't decided yet! We're out to lunch with family on 26th so I'm tempted to wait til after that as I don't want to ruin it for myself!

TunnocksTCake · 16/02/2023 13:41

@Matildahoney Thats a good plan, I'm in 2 minds about whether to test next Friday as we are going to stay with DHs sister for the weekend and I want to know whether I can drink... that would be 11DPO so I guess theres a chance of something showing on a FRER....

NSx · 16/02/2023 13:51

@TunnocksTCake i think 11dpo is a pretty solid day to test with a frer I think if u were pregnant you would defo have some sort of line?

OP posts:
allgoodthings84 · 16/02/2023 14:43

@TunnocksTCake I think frers tend to show a line the day after implantation so as long as you’ve implanted by CD10 (which most people do but not all) then you should get at least a faint line on frer

TunnocksTCake · 16/02/2023 15:45

@NSx @allgoodthings84 that's what I was thinking, tho I'm sure I'll still drive myself mad thinking I was a rarity that implanted late if it's negative!

Anyone testing in the next few days?

NSx · 16/02/2023 15:56

@TunnocksTCake 100% I think you’re a safe bet, unless like you say u implant late but they say normally it’s like 9dpo or there abouts.
I have to ask with that username are you Scottish?

OP posts:
allgoodthings84 · 16/02/2023 17:52

Like @NSx says 8-10dpo are the most common days to implant. A lot of experts say that 11-12dpo implantation is less likely to be successful although not impossible

TunnocksTCake · 17/02/2023 13:37

@NSx haha no actually just a huge fan of them 😂 they are my favourite treat!

NSx · 17/02/2023 13:43

Hahah, no way, I’m Scottish so I didn’t know they were a thing outwith Scotland 💕 😂 they are fab @TunnocksTCake

OP posts:
allgoodthings84 · 17/02/2023 13:44

@NSx we stock a range of Tunnocks (wholesaler) and not in Scotland. They are rather lovely

NSx · 17/02/2023 14:08

@allgoodthings84 yes the caramel logs are also Devine 😍😍😍

OP posts:
TunnocksTCake · 17/02/2023 14:40

@NSx the caramel bars are lush, my grandad always used to have them for me! Tunnocks are surprisingly low calorie and very satisfying so I can have them more often 😋

NSx · 17/02/2023 15:34

@TunnocksTCake im away to the shops to buy some 😂😂😂 it’s been a while - however I’m loaded with the cold so sweet stuff isn’t really tickling me at the minute 😂 x

OP posts:
NSx · 17/02/2023 19:13

@NatGee so we got OH’s SA back today and he actually has amazing sperm 😂😂😂 like so good 😬
whats the chances 😄😂 he’s walking around proud as punch of himself 😂😂😅😅 x

OP posts:
NatGee · 17/02/2023 20:42

@NSx haha of course it is! and the proof is in your tummy :) same with the DH when we got ours, he was happy it was all normal. Can I ask what percentage morphology he got and how long he abstained for before taking the sample? DH's was in at 4% which is just on the normal level but it did bug me it wasn't higher. He abstained for five days.

And i love tunnocks too, not my favourite treat but high up there

NSx · 17/02/2023 21:04

I don’t know I’ll have to check the paper. But what I know from looking at SA at work 4% is really good. I think the nhs confidence levels are 3.9-4% so it’s not really low, I think 4% is pretty common, I don’t think many people have 10% tbh, that’s a number I’ve read online but I never see it in real life tbh! I think he abstained for 4 days or so? I remember the number was in the millions for the count too like he had like 224 million or something which is pretty high, need to check the paper tomorrow:

tunnocks are very decent 😍 @NatGee x

OP posts:
NatGee · 17/02/2023 21:09

@NSx oh dont worry honestly, just you saying 4% is OK is enough to put my mind to rest. I'm just overthinking things. Whoa, yeah thats a big number. DH had 159m which is good but wow not as high as 224 nice one

NSx · 17/02/2023 21:15

@NatGee i just checked 4% too. Apparently that’s pretty standard.
OH asked the dr if there was anything he had to do, to make it better and the doctor said no his sperm was perfect … so I think if the 4% wasn’t enough or on lower he would have told him, so don’t worry I think it’s pretty textbook.
remember 4% of millions is a lot - it only takes ONE to make a baby! 🤞✨
Total progressive was 55% (46% rapid and 9% slow)
43 mill per 1ml,
224 mill per ejaculate
