Gorden bennit, here I am with my tales of half dead birds and there you are rescuing beloved tractors.... it is all go go go on here

January baby for me is a no go. The way DH's salery is made up for January leaves us barely covering the bills for the month, I absolutely hate January's, I really do not know, even now, how we got through last month with still enough food in the house! I hate having no money!

NatalieJane · 12/02/2008 13:59

LOL Diege, xmas babies are fun.....

Magpie is dead now, it was still alive enough in the house to leave blood and guts all over everything though Wish it'd have got it's own back on the cat and bloody pecked her teeth out.

Diege · 12/02/2008 14:08

Urghh dead birds...Our cat brought a toad in a few months ago and I screamed the place down. Old stoney thing crawling about. Ended up having to get it into a saucepan and put the lid on top before tipping it out in the garden. Couldn't bring myself to scoop it up in the tea-towel!
TEUCH, have vivid picture in my mind of tractor rescue, complete with splattering mud and expletives from all involved!

NatalieJane · 12/02/2008 14:14

I don't mind toads, or newts, not keen on the slugs she brings in, but more in case she does it when no one is in there and then it goes and has a family under my dishwasher or whatever.

We have more problems with animals coming in on their own through the cat flap, squirrels come in any chance they get, and we had a fox try his luck once, kitchen really smelled horribly for days. Also had a few spates of the neighbourhood tom's coming in and spraying everywhere, that is disgusting, and we nearly got rid of our cat last year because we were so fed up of it.

We quite often have geese/ducks in the back garden wouldn't be surprised if they have been in before now, and the odd pea-cock!

And we live in the town!! (Albeit on the edge of the town, but not exactly in the middle in the country side!)

BeMyLilBaby · 12/02/2008 14:16

He he i didnt even have to do anything jus provide my name address and email address, twas dead gd!

Tractor sounds most dramatic, could almost be a plot in emmerdale if you added someone being in labour or something!!

Diege sit still!! we must all stick on our months, and diege if i fall in march and you do we will be together!!

kayzisbroody · 12/02/2008 14:28

Hello, I'm meant to be getting ready to take ds to mil but I dont have to leave til 3,
I'm going to stick to April/May

Diege · 12/02/2008 14:37

Nooooo, not Marchhhhhh BB, taking age into account I predict if I start April, then I SHOULD be pregnant by the end of the summer! Might get some of those ovulation thingies this time around. Any one used them before/can recommend brands?
NJ, ewww to stinky tomcat spray!

Diege · 12/02/2008 14:38

Now Kay what is April/May?? Eh??? It's one or the other please, don't think you can get away with that one

kayzisbroody · 12/02/2008 14:40

You have to get pg on 20th March(ds's birthday) for your baby to be due on xmas day!
I just looked it up.
NJ my mums cats bring in frogs and have recently taught her dog to catch them too

kayzisbroody · 12/02/2008 14:41

Its either or. I'm just not sure yet.

Right I really have to go, I've got to get ready to go to work

I hate going back to work after a weeks holiday

NatalieJane · 12/02/2008 14:43

Tell me about it, cat pee is, I think, the worse smell to have hit you in the face when you come down for brekkie. Cat was very lucky to still have a home with us last year. We ended up shutting the cat flap for the summer ( not sure that's the right word) last year.

LOL Diege, you have landed yourself in March now, no backsies remember?!!!!

April/may is allowed because although I am staying in May for now, depending on how AF behaves it may well be April when we start, so leave Kay alone - big bully!!

kayzisbroody · 12/02/2008 14:45

Thanks NJ, I really want to start now but its just the holiday.
Im not here BTW

NatalieJane · 12/02/2008 14:46

Kay, if your AF's are 28 (? is that the average now, I can't remember) days long and you OV exactly 14 days before your period, that is probably right, but most people don't have the 28 day cycle exactly, so it all depends. And both times I have been sure of my dates and both times scan has said something different, so even if by your dates you are due on xmas day, the midwives will go off the scan dates.

Do you really want a baby on xmas day? I'd hate having to share my bday with xmas!!

BeMyLilBaby · 12/02/2008 14:47

WEll provided i get signed off coil shall be coming out two days after

as for cats my two can be right lil buggers too! they wont go out, they just laze around, until we let our 2 G Pigs ( my surrogate babies) out for there run and then the cats sit there menacingly funniest part is Gpigs arent fazed, my lil un actually chased the cat...hilarious!

NatalieJane · 12/02/2008 14:49

LOL BB. We had a puppy for a little while (longgg story) and he was always chasing the cat, till she got pissed off with him one day and chased him back, we were killing ourselves laughing at him. He left her alone for a whole... 5 minutes I think it lasted!

kayzisbroody · 12/02/2008 14:49

I'd hate to have a baby on xmas day. I was just looking at various dates, like my bday and dh bday etc.
I was told by midwife that I was due on the 18th march the scans said the 19th and ds came the 20th.

kayzisbroody · 12/02/2008 14:52

Right I really am going this time as I have to go.
Be back later
No more changing months anyone

Diege · 12/02/2008 14:55

Right I'll have April/May then......only kidding, no backsies for me, no sireee. Oooh NJ, so you night be April too? Think how much fun we would have taking the piss out of comparing symptoms!!
BB, I love guinnea pigs! Think the noise they make it so sweet
Good luck for work Kay - you'll feel like you've never been away after a few hours!

Diege · 12/02/2008 14:56

You know I just knew the crossing out thing wouldn't work . You get the gist though!

NatalieJane · 12/02/2008 15:29

I was due on the 13th March, DS1 came on the 18th (Induced on the 17th).

Bloody hell Diege where are you March? April? May?!!!!! I am going to engrave the list into granite tonight while watching telly so I need definate no change answers!!!

You have to piss about surrounding every word you want striking out. But yes, I can see symptom spotting with you about is going to be.... awful, in the nicest possible way!!!
