Thanks both of you, she ahs had it before and up till now has been clear for a year so im being positive, im sure she'l beat it again, just outrages me that she has to deal with this crap, i want to stamp my feet and shout its not fair!! Im sure she'l be ok tho they are taking it out on 10th march, its just all so unfair cos, shes always worked so hard and been so healthy x

If she has beaten once she will beat it again.

Where is the cancer?

I am guessing she would have still been under fairly close obs for it returning? So I am sure they will have caught it quickly, which is obviously much better.

As Kay says, shout and scream and stamp your foot on here, anything we can do just yell

thanks, its all just frustrating! Its in her bladder, and as you've said it'l just be a case of catching it now and removing it, i sort of feel guilty for feeling bad myself cos i think how scared she must be im just gonna stay positive and believe

You shouldn't feel guilty, I'd be terrified if it was my nan

BB, cancer is such a scarey illness. People tend to think cancer equals 6 hellish months before you die in agony, but it normally doesn't mean anything as dramatic as that. It is perfectly fine for you to be feeling bad for yourself. Someone you love is poorly. And I am sure your Nan would understand any of her family and friends feeling bad, although if she is anything like my Gran she would rather cut her own toes off than make anyone feel bad!

Staying positive and believing are the very best things you can do, but make sure you don't bottle up any of the other emotions, that is when things go wrong.

Can you maybe take her some nice pressies (not talking about magazines and grapes here!) Maybe some new PJ's or some nice bath goodies so she can have a nice soak in the hospital or whatever? I think bringing nice things makes you feel better, almost as though you are doing something to help.

I think im just gonna stay positive, anyway lets change the subject! WHo has a recommendation for a baby book i can buy that i havent already read?

Rough guide to preg and birth, rough guide to babies, G-F contented lil baby, NCT book of sleep, and mums on abbies by mumsnet...any recommendations? i like reading it helps me do something constructive with my excitement

I have the pregnancy for dummies book and its really good. It found it a great help when I was expecting ds.

Sorry I don't do baby books..... have you looked on t'inernet? Just be careful what you put in google to search for....! I was searching for Thomas the Tank Engine not long ago, and what came back WAS NOT Thomas the Tank!

Kays i used to work on a deli at tesco i loved it i thinkt hats where ill end up goin back to after baby x

I love working on the deli, except when i was pg the smell of the chickens we cooked made me feel really sick.

Oh yes, my own rule too . Just worried about sickness and effect it will have on my work etc (things get easier work-wise in June). Will that do? .
