LOL Diege, I have to say 'Thankyou' to DH if he does the polishing or something, just to stop him going on about it... I always say it with a smirk.

I remember the one time he did the bathroom "properly" (i.e. like how I do it!) he was so proud of it I noticed the next day he had wiped around after himself and had actually changed the toilet roll when he'd used the last of it and he put not only the toilet seat down, but the seat as well

I let DS1 do his teeth and get toothpaste all over the counter and sink, left the toothpaste out with out the lid on, left the shampoo on the edge of the bath with the lid open, and left the shower head dangling down the wall instead of putting it back on the holder thing. These are all things he does every morning, he went absolutely balistic at me and has never touched the bath room since! LOL

Hi Guys, off home now. Will talk to you tomorrow, have a great evening!

NatalieJane · 06/02/2008 17:53

G'night Playing

Diege · 06/02/2008 17:56

NJ, how DID you train him to change a toilet roll? The best dh can manage is to put a new roll on top of loo when it seems like the present one is running out . One thing I have noticed is that if dh is particularly pissed off with me, the toilet seat doesn't get put down (sad eh), to which I always slam it down as loudly as possible! Oh the games we play .
See you tomorrow PLAYING!

NatalieJane · 06/02/2008 17:59

DH doesn't even place a new one on top of the old one, he leaveS the very last square of the tissue (the one that is stuck to the cardboard thing) so that the next person who goes has to change it, and he can get away with saying he didn't use the last of it.

DS1 can and does change it FFS!

Good job I bloody love him innit?!!

Right I am off as well, just remembered DS1's spellings, that he has a test on tomorrow.... LOL

See you all tomorrow, have a good night xxx

kayzr · 06/02/2008 18:41

cinnamontam · 06/02/2008 18:44

Just...can't...keep...up...with...all...the...chat!!! I'm going to need to spend the evening just reading up on what you ladies have been up to. Anyone fancy doing a quick summary I'm such a lazy sod

kayzr · 06/02/2008 18:49

Hi Cinnamontam. We've been talking about where we are going on holiday, and Chocolate and wine. All sorts of various things in between

Teuch · 06/02/2008 18:52

OP posts:
kayzr · 06/02/2008 18:59

Diege · 06/02/2008 19:29

Yes, there is a list!!! Natalie is in charge of it - can't figure out the cut and paste on my laptop, so shall wait until she's back!

kayzr · 06/02/2008 19:31

Yay Football is on!!
I'm so sad to get excited about England FFS!!
I just find Gary Linekar so lovely

cinnamontam · 06/02/2008 19:43

Thanks Kayzr

That's an easy one. I love chocolate and wine and don't have any holidays booked yet this year. Phew...so that's me done.

Hey all xxx

kayzr · 06/02/2008 20:04

Diege · 06/02/2008 20:08

kayzr · 06/02/2008 20:19

happynappies · 06/02/2008 20:22

I see Diege... I heard 'research methods' and wondered if, like me, you taught Psychology...

I'm in a dilemma about this years' holiday. Hopefully I might be pg by this Summer, so that may or may not be an issue. We can't decide whether to go where we have been for the last two years, to Devon, or whether to push our 'comfort zone' and try something different - considering mobile home in France. Last year managed to raise all money for holiday with e-bay sales and car-booting, but this year have to go during school hols in July so will be even more expensive!!

happynappies · 06/02/2008 20:23

eek - sorry for double post!!!

kayzr · 06/02/2008 20:32

I cant wait for my holiday. I'm in 2 minds whether to ttc in may or to wait until after the holiday. I dont think I could wait until after July. I'd probably drive myself, dh and you lot insane

Diege · 06/02/2008 21:36

Ooh HAPPY, pyschology! I dabble in a bit of social psychology, but am quite an orthodox sociologist (critical realist, with a bit of post-structuralism if that means anything!). Do you teach at college/6th form or uni' level?
KAYZ, don't you dare leave it till July! I know what you mean about holidays, but if you get pregnant May, you will hopefully be nearly over the sicky stage by hols - and if not, a good excuse to just relax and do nothing!

happynappies · 06/02/2008 21:45

I teach at a 6th form college - just teaching research methods at the moment to my AS groups... I did Sociology as a supplementary subject when I did my degree, but it has long since faded from my memory - post pregnancy and birth so has most of my own subject!!!

Diege · 07/02/2008 07:10

Morning girls . Another 5.30 start courtesy of dd3 . Thurs/Fris are always a killer for me as dh works away at end of week, so no respite from the early starts!
HAPPY, ooh, wonder if I'm marking papers from your centre? TBH, we never really know where we're marking from, as it's all pretty anonymous, although the candidates sometimes give the game away by writing their college in the space for 'awarding body' . Bless.
Mixed day today. Hairdresser rang up to say she's 'gone mobile', so rather than the usually enjoyable visit to town,I get the kneeling over the bath and stained towel experience. Then I've got a viewer for the house at one - a grumpy old fart who's been round twice already, but hey you can't really say no if you want to sell! [was thinking, on a tangent, that if we move before I have the next baby that I might consider a home birth..[diege's midwife quietly sniggers in light of diege's extraordinarioly low pain threshold].
Right, better get breakfasts etc! Speak later, diege x

NatalieJane · 07/02/2008 07:29

OMG, I stay away for a night, and you wreck havoc by mentioning the 'Football' word..... , Diege has corrupted Kay's giving up choclate for lent, on the first day, and then Diege (again ) and Happy go talking about big words that take too long to work out what they mean. IT IS NOT ON!!!! Now sit down quietly, no words of over 7 letters allowed, except 'conception' and (sexual) 'intercourse'!!!!

I will do the list..... when I get back from town, remind me!

I really haven't got time to be sat here, but hey ho, it is too bloody cold to move away.

I tried to get on with a mobile hairdresser once, never again, kids running around, telly on, sat in the kitchen with hair going everywhere (took me about 2 months to get every single little piece picked up, it got everywhere, it was like when you smash a glass and you are still finding pieces of it 6 years later....)

I am going to have to go, haven't even got breakfasts or lunch ready yet. See you all later, I am in town today so will be much later, BFN xxx

kayzr · 07/02/2008 07:54
