Hiya

Anyone going through the 2 week wait? I’m trying not to symptom spot but it’s so hard. I’m approx 7 dpo. Today I’ve had sharp pains in my left side, tired and a headache that I can’t shift. I’ve been ttc for a few months now after a MMC in August. It’s so stressful 😭

Hi everyone, quick update.. had a blob or so in the loo this morning after bleeding off and on yesterday, still not on proper AF but my digital now says not pregnant so I guess that’s the end of that! 😩
One thing I will never do again is test even the slightest bit early (wasted so much money on tests this month and had 5/6 BFPs) just sharing some advice. Feeling ok but just want the bleeding to start now so it can be over with and we can enjoy our holiday to Dominican on Saturday. If anyone has any advice around how long it takes to start, and how long generally it may last, I’d really appreciate it 😥🥺 xx

@Yolo23 aww I’m really sorry. It’s sounds like a chemical pregnancy to me. It happened to me when I was 21. It lasted like a normal period roughly 6/7 days. Sending you hugs xx

@Matildahoney it really is. After my loss a few months ago I just find it tougher and tougher each month. Hoping for a Christmas miracle. I’m going to stop tracking ovulation now and just try and relax. It’s such a strain on my marriage atm x

Well me and my husband have been having unprotected sex for 4 years but wasn’t really trying. When we decided to try in May it happened straight away by putting a pillow under my bum for 20 minutes at a time. What about you? X

Ahh I’m sorry to hear that - positive that the pillow trick worked though! ☺️ That’s hopeful for next time..
Ive been trying in totality 2.5 years - I was with my ex partner for almost 10 years and then the relationship broke down. I discovered I had endo after a referral to IVF (obviously couldn’t go through with IVF) but had operations.
muself and my partner now - the love of my life (everything happens for a reason!) have been together for 2.5 years and only trying since July. I was expecting to need referral to IVF still so this is hopeful but disappointing at the same time x

My partner is happy but is worried isn't not the right time just with the cost of living ATM. But I'm sure we'll manage and make it work. I may just have to go back to work a bit sooner. Got an 8 month old x

i feel like I’m on a rollercoaster! I had the faintest line on an frer at 10DPO (so faint a picture wouldn’t even pick it up), yesterday at 13dpo I did a normal test and was negative so thought that was it. Today tested on a clear blue and was positive and now I’ve started bleeding (14dpo today and AF due around now) I’m guessing it’s a chemical pregnancy 😢.

congratulations @Emmamoo89 ! We’ve had similar discussions but I just think that even if there are struggles at times, in most cases will be short term 🥰 you don’t want to look back and regret not having a baby!

@Mammatoacutie im keeping ok thank you my lovely. So sorry to hear you’re going through a confusing time yourself! Bless you. Through my HOURS and HOURS of research, what I would say is that some bleeding/spotting is very normal so it’s not officially over until it’s over - so try to have hope but don’t let it blind side you too much either. It helped me to remain pragmatic as it was super disappointing and horrible just being in limbo, having to wait and still get positive tests…
What clarified it for me was taking a test the day of my AF and the day after - where my digital changed to not pregnant. Fingers crossed this won’t be the case with you but here if you need anything or want to ask anything - it can be a lonely confusing time. Look after yourself xx

I had a chemical last month. On the day AF was due I had a very faint line on a pregnancy test. However, three days later AF came full force. I was gutted I tested and said I would only do it again if I was late. My cycles are never later than 28 days so this cycle I am currently day 32, I've tested this afternoon and this is the test? I feel like this is way too faint for being late? Do you think it will be another chemical? Thanks for looking 😊

@TulipVictory looks positive to me, could be faint because you ovulated later than you thought? Try a first response x

11DPO, AF due on Saturday / Sunday and really finding it hard to resist the urge to test :( I have a feeling it will be negative because I basically had zero symptoms ...

Hello @TulipVictory im sorry to hear about your chemical - I had one last month myself. It definitely looks positive to me but having tested positive on those sort of tests after AF had even arrived, I’d go and buy a digital just to be sure xx best of luck! Xx

I’m exactly the same as you @lili2308 ! I actually caved and bought a test but too scared of it being negative. Now keep getting cramps so convinced it’s a BFN.

@Alysskea cramps could be a good sign too though! So fingers crossed for you! I have a few tests at home ready to go - the only thing that's keeping me away from them is reading people's messages about chemical - would rather not know if that's the case ...

Thanks @lili2308 and @Yolo23 I'm pretty sure I ovulated on CD17, I wiped pink blood all day (small amounts) on CD27 & 28 and then nothing more. CD32 today it seems familiar to last month though, I think I might leave it a few more days as AF may show

My cycle seems to me the same as yours! I did a clear blue on Monday as I caved and couldn't wait, it was a BFN! No symptoms apart from slightly sore boobs but I usually get that around AF anyway 😓 hope we get a positive soon!

@cashmerecow oooh! Keep me posted then! Monday surely was too early - so much can still change by Saturday. I'm going to test on Saturday morning :)

Thanks @Yolo23 haha yes I had googled and googled too, I can’t let it go until a bfn is staring me in the face which has now happened so I can drawer a line under it and try again this month. Still can’t shake the disappointment though, I need to try and get excited of the possibility of next month!

@lili2308 with my first I had zero symptoms before my bfp- , I remember feeling sorry for myself and saying to my OH that I was sick of trying and couldn’t be bothered to do another cycle with all the anticipation and disappointment, little did I know I was!
