Hiya

Anyone going through the 2 week wait? I’m trying not to symptom spot but it’s so hard. I’m approx 7 dpo. Today I’ve had sharp pains in my left side, tired and a headache that I can’t shift. I’ve been ttc for a few months now after a MMC in August. It’s so stressful 😭

@Mammatoacutie my cycles are usually 26 days and I ovulate around cd12/13

@LMM91x I know! Last cycle I was noticing every tiny thing thinking must be it.and that obviously made it last forever. And it wasn't a sign of anything.... Now I'm thinking whether all of these symptoms was my usual pms that I typically just don't pay much attention to (eg breast tenderness, discharge...) so now gonna try really hard to not pay attention to anything until AF day

@Ttc33 no children or pets :) First time I'm going through all of this. I'm 28 and naturally none of my friends have kids so stalking Mumsnet is basically my only point of reference....

@lili2308 YEP i get you 100%, I swear I didn’t even think twice about anything period related unless it was actually me coming on… gah its madness drives me mad. I’m literally counting down the hours now, I want to get to 6 or 7. Dpo!! 3 is so boring and uneventful🤣

@Yolo23 omg yes ahhaha it's so funny how you spend so much time paranoid about getting pregnant from situations during which the chances are close to 0 and when it comes to wanting one, you time it to a t... and yet it's not that easy

@LMM91x are you going to use the '6 days early' test or wait till AF day ? The former is so tempting

Soooooo tempting @lili2308 but at present I don’t have any….. so I think I will hold off (famous last words see you in a few days when i’ve tested early🤣)

I religiously have 31 day cycles the 20th typically being my af due date - however no show nor signs of coming rn.. still early I guess don’t want to jinx it but I just have a horrible flu like illness, twinges and nausea.. im not sure when I’ll test as I’m scared to see anything other than a BFP at this point ☹️

@lili2308 i know! It’s crazy how different your mind set is when you’re on this journey and while I’m really pleased for anyone who announces, im also wondering in the back of my head… how long were you trying!? Or were you!? 😂 I know it’s none of my business but it still feels such a taboo that it’s not spoken about which is part of the reason we all get ate up about how long it takes because up to a year… is… normal…
im well over that in totality but only a few months with my partner. Long story I was 10 years into a relationship previous but it’s bitter sweet as endo found and I’ve now got the love of my life 🥰 that being said, the fact it hasn’t happened quickly when I should now be OK is frustrating and my gut says it’s going to take years so buckling down for the long ride here… what’s your situation 😊

I’m 5PO today and wiped bright red/pink blood with fmu. And on the second wipe there was nothing! I never bleed/spot outside of AF days and AF isnt due for another 7 days.
Im reluctant to get too hopeful but could this be implantation bleeding?
Anyone with similar experiences?

Really struggling with the wait today. Only 3DPO - don’t feel any different (I know I wouldn’t yet). Lady at work has announced she’s going off to have her second and I’m just feeling very desperate today I guess.

@Alysskea 3DPO for me today, too. I’ve been spending way too much time looking at peoples squinters the past couple of days 😂
When are you going to do your first test, do you think? I want to try and hold out until next Tuesday, but the weekend is going to test me.

7 DPO for me, not feeling a thing. Over the weekend i had some shooting pains and cramps but since Monday nothing... nada. I have a feeling that this isn't our month. Not sure i will test this month and just wait for AF to arrive.

2dpo and TTC since a MMC in Jan. Trying hard not to get my hopes up but also trying to be optimistic otherwise it all becomes too depressing! Keep trying to convince myself I am always less than 4 weeks away from possibly being pregnant again

@dearhummingbirds this is also my first TWW. I took a trigger shot which means I can’t test early (have to wait for HCG to leave my system). Probably a good thing as I would probs already be testing otherwise 😂 I should wait the full 2 weeks really just in case I get a false positive.

@BuzzyBusyBee aww I know how you feel. Have you been trying since your cycles returned to normal? I had a MMC end of July but had surgical management in August. This is my first proper cycle as September I was on my period for 2 weeks.

Lots of twinges today and feels like I’ve done sit ups, I’ve got a feeling my AF will arrive soon 😭

Are you testing? @Ttc33 or waiting to see if AF arrives? I’m 8dpo and feeling a bit crampy and a little nauseous from time to time but don’t know if it’s in my head!! When would your AF usually be due?

I’m feeling so tearful today, bloody hormones. I know deep down looking at last month my period is going to make an appearance 😭

Keep positive!! Anything can happen. Very hard not to obsess over though I know. What happened last month to make you think it?

I don’t really know when my AF would be due. If I have a 21 day cycle then tomorrow but if I’m on a 24 day or 28 day then this Sunday or following Wed! The cramping and back ache has started, if I got this feeling usually I’d be checking that I had a tampon to hand but still keeping my fingers crossed that it’s implantation!! It’s funny think someone mentioned it further up the thread but I think you’re only in tune with twinges and cramps when you’re focussing so it’s hard to know what a normal feeling is!

@Mammatoacutie before my MMC I never used to get cramps but I’ve started having cramps about 4/5 days before my period and I’ve been getting period type cramps yesterday and today. Last month I was convinced I was pregnant because I kept getting stitch pains. Aww I really hope it happens for you. Who would think it could be so difficult and stressful 😫

i gave in at 7dpo which is probably very early after having some bleeding 5DPO (very unusual hopefully implantation bleeding?!). Of course I got a BFN today, LH strips still reading 0 on Premom but BBT is still higher than pre-ovulation. I’m not out yet. Going to try not to test until 9DPO now and AF due 13DPO.

@UserL95 yes 7dpo is still so early! I can’t recall seeing anyone with a bfp at 7dpo?? (But might be wrong) Hopefully was implantation bleeding If it was 5dpo 🤞🤞🤞 any other symptoms?

im 9dpo and think I might try testing tomorrow with an frer. I wasn’t going to but I can’t stop thinking about it and it’s draggggggging! Also feel like I’ve had cramps, nausea and tiredness- so if I’m not I’ll be even more disappointed as ive let myself think a positive is a possibility

@Ttc33 yes It’s so stressful isn’t it. I’m finding that it’s consuming me at the moment. have your cramps continued?

@Mammatoacutie some mild cramping, tender breasts, very emotional! But nothing out of the ordinary for pms too. I’ve never had bleeding outside of period so I’m really hoping the blood at 5DPO is a positive sign 🤞 hoping praying wishing

i would say hold off testing but I know I’m terrible at waiting. Ideally they say to wait until at least 11dpo - I don’t have the willpower to wait that long
