Hey hey, making this thread to lead on from last months. I’m 1 or 2 dpo today and I’m going to try and not symptom spot this month!! Also going to try my best to not test until 12dpo at the earliest!

what DPO are you all?

@Peeonastick22 I'm with you on hating the process and the unknowing.

Still holding off on testing. I ovulated earlier this month, normally my LP is 11days and AF comes day 12 so I'm not sure if ovulating early I should expect AF early too or if it's just going to give me a longer LP. I think I'll test on Sunday if it has t come by then.

@Peeonastick22 sorry to hear this, you're almost in a fresh new cycle and you could be getting your bfp this month or start of next ! 🤞🏼 All I did different was have less sex 😂 and the month I had the chemical I dtd loads so there's no logic to it!

@MillieKitty thanks! So hard to stay positive- I can’t imagine what it’s like to be trying for years I’ve only had a glimpse into that!

@Peeonastick22 my friend was trying for a year but on the cycle she fell pregnant she started using pre-seed!

@Peeonastick22 I get that feeling completely it seems so easy for some folks and so disappointing for others! Frustrating process and there is such a build up, hopefully it will come soon a friend of mine had good results with fertility lubricant...

@babybrainfart my period was due yesterday but my LP is short so I think I’m going to wait 48 hours then test again before I get tooooo excited.

I’m really sorry for all those who didn’t get the BFP. It is always such a disappointment and I have spent two years feeling so hard done by that it is so easy for some people and seems to be so difficult for me and others. I don’t think I’ve done anything differently, and it’s so confusing because what we think might be what made it work could just be a coincidence. I did lie in bed for ages after we DTD each time, and I’ve been trying to make sure I sleep enough and generally have a good diet and not too much caffeine and alcohol (but definitely haven’t cut them out).

the only reassurance I have is that clearly I am evidence that eventually it will happen!

also for those who are interested, I did a LH test with the same urine this morning as the HCG and the LH was BLAZING positive.

@Wreakingball I did an ovulation test just to see if it showed anything and it was stark white but my pregnancy test was dark positive 😂 I was so confused as I thought it was meant to show on an LH test

@MillieKitty ha that’s so funny, I guess maybe it works for some but not others

@MillieKitty that’s interesting!! I did research on preseed as I’ve heard people getting pregnant the first cycle they use it.

one article said that when they tested it, sperm lived longer when not in pre seed, like just open air- but I suppose those conditions are completely different to using pre seed in a vagina!

@Peeonastick22 So sorry it's not looking good for you this month, it's a rubbish feeling I know.

Regarding doing things differently - this was my second cycle trying pre-seed, as well as taking Evening Primrose Oil up until ovulation to try and help with CM.

This month, I also had a swig of cough syrup every day during fertile week to help boost CM - I didn't notice much obvious difference, but maybe there was more inside? And I have started taking vitamin C every day as I think it's meant to help with a shorter luteal phase.

DTD a bit more than usual as well as we were on holiday (5 days during the fertile period, inc. the day after ovulation instead of ovulation day itself) - no idea if any of that has made a difference!

LH showing and not showing is interesting! I guess it is a reminder that we are all different and it's quite easy to compare your symptoms to others. My LH is white and white today so hearing both sides makes me feel a little better

Tested again just now, lines still just as faint on an easy@home and FRER, no progression over the last 48 hours...also did a Morrisons test which was barely there.
Is this destined to be a chemical, or ok to have no change between 10 and 12dpo?

Feel like I'm in limbo 😫but at least no signs of AF yet

@Mortima I think I saw somewhere that it can take three days for the HCG to double so try not to worry too much, although I know the worry! I've attached a pic of mine when I tested 12dpo in the morning vs the evening, and it scared me but it was fine so it can fluctuate depending on your wee etc

I’m just desperate for AF to come now so I can stop obsessing that I MIGHT still be pregnant. I hate left over hope so much. Can’t stop googling and testing- driving me mad!!

@Peeonastick22 I know how you feel! I've been known to take a pregnancy test even after my period has started...when are you due on?

@MillieKitty that is really interesting! Do you mind if I ask was it dependant on how hydrated your were?

how is everyone getting on? 9 DPO for me and negative this AM. I normally get a BFP on 8/9 DPO so feeling a bit discouraged but my last pregnancy was negative at 10 DPO and positive on 11 DPO so I’m going to try and not lose hope until then :)
