Halloween testers 🎃

Hi all,

I’m just starting my TWW and planning on testing around 29 October (unless period comes sooner which it did last month!)

Anyone else planning to test around Halloween?

@Billyv oh totally, They play on womens fears and anxieties to make money. I have unsubscribed from natural cycles this month and just sticking with premom and fertility friend, I admit I do buy premom OPKs but I quite like seeing the peak! I nearly signed up to this site called ‘gyna’ they ask for your details and then tell you they can get you pregnant by a certain month, mine said March (i’m guessing its different for everyone depending on what details you enter) I was very nearly sucked in until it tried to charge me £179 or something. So wrong! I think we should all just go back to basics, have regular sex, take folic acid, cut down on alcohol and don’t smoke, try and be a healthy weight and stop obsessing!!! I think all these extras we obsess over are totally anxiety inducing! I didnt know about any of this stuff 5 months ago … I miss those days 😂

@ChloeN I think you should totally do that!! But hopefully this is your cycle so you won’t have to!!

I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus this morning! Feel absolutely shocking despite sleeping for 9 hours. Woke up a couple of times and had mild cramps. I’ve cried 3 times already this morning. I just want to hide from the world! I deffo get low before AF is due but I don’t normally cry and feel so crap! I’m 10dpo tomorrow so not sure whether to do a test or wait til maybe Wednesday when hopefully it’s a bit clearer if this is all AFs doing. Sorry for rambling - I don’t have anyone to talk to about it!

It’s so hard isn’t it 😂 @ChloeN I’ve got a busy week at work so I’m gonna try and rest today and then stay as distracted as possible lol!

I took my last mini pill on the 12/10 so I’m unsure if this month will be my month or not! 🤞🏻

I felt quite relaxed this month, but now at only 8dpo I can't stop thinking about the frer test in the bottom drawer 🤣 I am really going to try to hold out until next weekend though... decided to ignore any symptom spotting, as I seem to have every premenstrual symptom under the sun every month, so that's not been helping my sanity. Hope everyone else is doing better at keeping themselves distracted during the wait x

Can I join? 👋🏼 on the 10th cycle TTC #1, AF due 1st, but I will almost definitely cave abs test before then 😂

Only 3dpo here. I keep pressing my boobs/nipples to see if they are sore at all, as when I got my BFP with my son they were super sore not long after ovulation.

They're not sore 🤣 although if I keep squashing them, they will be!

@TI2411 did you have any early symptoms with your first two? Were they the same symptoms each time? If you remember

6dpo here, feeling a bit run down and super hot at night which has obviously got me thinking, but I’m trying not to read anything into it!

@Billyv my boobs were so sore when I was pregnant so I know exactly what you mean about pressing them, I do the same! I don’t think that kicked in until a couple of weeks after missed period for me, so totally pointless at the moment, but I do it anyway 🤣

Actually I bet loads of us are walking round doing it...

I do get sore bloods every month and I always think it's a sign, even though it's every month 😂🙈

I’ve never had sore boobs! Not even with AF! I would be so excited to get sore boobs 😂

@Billyv i didn’t have many symptoms at all with either of mine! My boobs didn’t start getting sore until a few weeks after AF would have been due! The only symptom was a missed period. Bit rubbish for symptom checking 🙄😂

@TI2411 ive heard from quite a few people that they're lack of symptoms of AF were their symptom, is that what happened for you?

@Harriet669 it seems that way! Mine are 11 & 4 so I don’t remember my first that well 😆 but what I do remember is that I got horrendous acne all over my neck/jawline area. With my youngest it was just the missed period, no other symptoms until after AF was due!

@TI2411 ah that's so crazy! I've had some big really sore spots on my jaw line! I also started with sore boobs today though, looking at what I log, I get them for about 5/6 days before AF so looks like she's on her way

@Harriet669 I think all that sounds fairly promising actually. I tend to get sore boobs each cycle, but I think they were extra sore the month I got a BFP - having said that, it's quite hard to remember what symptoms I had before I knew for sure I was pregnant as I tested very early. I think I felt pretty normal, sore boobs were normal for me. Lots of CM but that might have come after the BFP which was 8/9ish dpo...

My boobs don't hurt at the moment... Trying not to worry about that, although I do wonder if it means I didn't ovulate. It's my first cycle off the pill and I'm still breastfeeding, so even though I'd be delighted with a BFP I'm just trying to see a LH surge/possible ovulation as a win and hoping I have a decent luteal period.

Anyone elses symptoms come and go? I had a long list of symptoms yesterday but now they're just..milder (apart from irrational anger and being really emotional) I'm 6 or 7 DPO today so I know it's really early but I can't help symptom spotting!
