So... TTC advice.

Had a miscarriage at 12 weeks (though drs seemed to think growth may have stopped a couple of weeks earlier) in mid July.

TTC through the summer, but no BFP. Had a positive test Tues and Weds this week. But started bleeding heavily and cramps this morning. Like heavy period. So bum.

When can we try again? How long does it take to reset as it were? Hoping less time than over the summer?

We have one kiddo (turned 4 over the summer). And had no issues conceiving then. But I'm now late 30s (38).

Any advice appreciated!

@EsmeSusanOgg So sorry to hear you're going through this. I think you just treat this as a normal period and can try again straight away. count today as the first day of your new cycle. Do you track ovulation in any way? I have a friend who conceived immediately after a chemical pregnancy. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

@FfayeN No it wasn't you guys :) I like seeing announcements here. It was just my Facebook friends. One new announcement this afternoon and the friend who was a week ahead of me posted her maternity shoot photos this morning. It's just been a rubbish day overall 😅

We had tests three years ago yeah. My husband had low sperm motility but we conceived our son after 15 months and found out the day before our first round of IVF was due to start. Bit of a miracle there!

Definitely going to get the Fertility :) I'll have a chat with my husband re more tests.

@EsmeSusanOgg i had (I believe anyway) a very early chemical last cycle, and seem to have ovulated a couple of days later than usual this month! Hopefully it won’t delay you as much as your mc! I don’t think I ovulated the cycle after my mmc so took longer to get back to normal xx

Thanks @ChloeN and @RaliaMusca - hoping that's the case. I have a period tracker app, that has been pretty spot on for gauging when my fertile period is (has most of a decade's period logging data in fairness). So fingers crossed

@TheBirdintheCave totally get you 💐Someone is due the same day as my first pregnancy was meant to be and I would absolutely cry if I popped into her! It really is hard!

I'm due to test sometime next week but think I will wait until just couple days before the expected period - it was too traumatic seeing tests stop getting darker and then fade away with the most recent pregnancy 😓
Feeling totally exhausted, just been coming home from work and curling up in bed the last two evenings, it was the case with my first pregnancy (although it was not successful but it was a symptom for me then), so I am hoping for good news but maybe it's just the cold!

*the cold weather and the freezing house! 😜

@FfayeN I get that odd sensation as well! Like an aching/heavy feeling. Have had it on and off through this pregnancy as well! Xx

@EsmeSusanOgg I'm so sorry it's literally just awful to get so excited then nothing. I've been through 3 of these and they are soul destroying.

@TheBirdintheCave it's hard. Really hard. This is month 14 for us and 3 miscarriages. A close friend announced to me today too. I think it hits harder when someone you know irl falls pregnant easily and has a uncomplicated pregnancy. I'm at the stage of looking at ivf for us. I'm certainly not advocating that for anyone but given our age and high NK cells I'm not sure if waiting for a natural conception is worth it anymore. I think having tests helps as it does help eliminate things and give reassurance that all is good and if not, usually they can fix it. Just know that you're not alone on this journey 💕

@Luna57 my friend had bleeding and it was implantation bleeding. It was bright red and around 6 weeks. All was fine 🤞

Ladies, I caved and took a test 8dpo 😂 every time I’ve taken a FRER it has been positive, is a negative completely white? It’s an absolute squinter but I’m freaking out & wishing I hadn’t test now!!

@HalWin2221 I can defo see that too 🤞 maybe test again in a few days to see as we have had some awful indents on here recently. I always get lines but that looks stronger than a indent imo. Good luck!!

I'm feeling irrationally anxious today. I'm 6 weeks now and have much more nausea than I did with my two previous pregnancies but my boobs haven't changed at all. "Normally" that's my first symptom! I know every pregnancy is different but it's freaking me out.

@RaliaMusca try not to panic. Easier said than done but they are all diff. All 4 of mine have been different symptoms really.
this one. Much less sensitive boobs. But sick every day. Which I’ve never had before.
if you think about it our hormones are forever changing month to month usually. So I think it just is where a pregnancy lands and how your hormones change and it time it affects you slightly different.

@RaliaMusca try not to worry I'm sure each pregnancy is totally different!

I did a FRER this morning. 14dpo, is it meant to be this dark?! I know it's normally a worry of not dark enough but I've never seen it this dark. Got me panicking about twins 👀

@HalWin2221 yes I see it! My negatives have always been the starkest of whites, and that line fits well with 8dpo. Everything crossed for you that it develops. Having that naive happiness taken away by MC does feel so cruel, but there is still hope to hold onto.

@RaliaMusca completely understandable that you are anxious, but like you said, you ARE having symptoms, they are just different which is completely normal as it's a different pregnancy. It's so hard getting into a positive mindset though, I totally get it.

@calimc83 thank you so much! Still in a bit of shock as I got so used to seeing negatives.
My boobs feel really full and heavy and I've got some slight nausea. Basically feels like a low grade hangover. I had a feeling the day before I tested as I also got that full feeling in my abdomen, and I slept through my alarm which I never do.

I've also started the progesterone pessaries, and it's...interesting.
