@LuckyMoonstone I’m glad there wasn’t anything to worry about. How random though. It certainly is hanging around from being so early isn’t it. But like I said I still ovulated with hcg in my system so doesn’t mean you can’t. An IC for me showed a line so a FRER would of deff had one about similiar to yours when I ovulated after the mc as apparently below 30mul it can still do it.

@Indianna2006 I hope so, I don’t want to be waiting ages! I’m not doing any more FRERs, costing me a fortune 😂 will just do ICs every so often to keep track

I'm glad everything seems okay @LuckyMoonstone did they say what could be causing the HCG to appear to be rising?

@mummatara thank you, I needed that ♥️ you're right, every pregnancy is supposed to be different so who knows!
How're you doing today anyway love? Hope you're okay xx

I told them my tests were darker than before the bleed but I don’t think I explicitly said they were getting darker each day and now I’m worried they didn’t understand me. Photo is of 3 days progression (excuse the appalling quality, it’s not even dark in my bathroom it’s just my camera 😅). But surely they would have seen something, even just a shadow, especially if it was in my Fallopian tube or somewhere else it shouldn’t be? Also my lining was 7.3mm which is basically nothing so there can’t possibly be an egg clinging on to it. I might do a FRER in a few days and ring the EPU if it looks dodgy

@LuckyMoonstone this is really strange ngl that bottom test looks pretty dark. Did they offer hcg blood tests?

Report
LuckyMoonstone · 23/09/2022 18:38

@MrsCristianoX nope they were pretty confident that there was nothing there. They did a PT which had a fairly light line but it was just a cheap strip one, not an early one, and it was quite diluted as I’d been drinking to make my bladder full for the scan. Urgh I don’t know what’s going on, at least I can ring them direct now. There’s literally nothing I can do except check again in a day or two.

Indianna2006 · 23/09/2022 18:40

@LuckyMoonstone hmm yeh they seem to of progressed in those 3 days. Which considering you bled over a week ago. Doesn’t seem right does it. It wouldn’t be rising would it?!

I am not 100% on this…but as far as I’m aware. You cannot see an ectopic. They would be able to see the beginning of something at 5 weeks in your uterus I believe. But I don’t think they can see pregnancies of “unknown locations” as sometimes there not sure where exact it is.
someone in another group has one of unknown. They could see nothing. But her tests got slightly darker and she had hcg present so they had to treat her for an ectopic.
obv don’t wanna worry you. But just wanna make sure you get the right care. An they understood your tests were getting darker.

like @MrsCristianoX said did they do bloods? If not like you said wait and do one tomorrow. And compare again. It should deff be getting fainter by now. Otherwise 100% ring again and explain maybe they didn’t totally understand.

@Indianna2006 yeah I definitely need to speak to them again if it carries on getting darker. No they didn’t mention bloods, maybe if I tell them the tests are still getting darker they will do bloods

I’ve ordered more FRERs as I need to compare lines using the same tests really… the people at Amazon must wonder what the hell im doing 😂

Report
Indianna2006 · 23/09/2022 18:45

@LuckyMoonstone Deff need to use same tests to compare. Yep test again. And like you said. If it isn’t getting fainter and gets darker 100% ring again.
i think sometimes with unknown locations they can never “see” where it is. But obv if you stay pregnant an tests don’t fade and hcg is rising but slowly it signals something is going on but not in the right place perhaps.

of course could all be fine. But is a little bizarre in 3 days they’ve darkened when you technically mc like a week ago. That doesn’t make sense in my head 🙈🤷🏻‍♀️ But bodies are weird and wonderful

@LuckyMoonstone was it not even an internal scan? You need an empty bladder for that..so I miscarried at 6 weeks my lining was 8mm a week later and they still ordered 48 hour bloods 3 times. There was a tiny collapsed sac but they were more interested in free fluid (blood) I think. Just be careful lovely and ring on Monday if you need to ❤️

Report
LuckyMoonstone · 23/09/2022 18:53

@MrsCristianoX oh yes they did internal, but external first which I know was going to be completely pointless lol. I feel so annoyed at myself now that I didn’t question it more, I genuinely thought it was sorted and now I’m like hang on It still doesn’t feel right…. I shall see what the weekend brings and call them on Monday if I need to!

@LuckyMoonstone nothing is ever simple but I would be doing exactly the same and ordering more FRERs xx

@LuckyMoonstone yes I’m very surprised they didn’t do bloods tbh.

I just found the details of the other lady. And she had a period. Then got a positive test like 10/11 days after her bleed but was faint. They got slightly darker but remained lighter than usual progression. They tested her hcg straight away tho at EPU and it was like 45. And went down slowly over a week cos they tested her every 3/4 days. But then it started to rise again. But they could see nothing on scan at any point. But was told it was just unknown location and eventually had meds to resolve it as it just wasn’t going down like it should.

They deff need to do you bloods if it’s bolder tomorrow or same boldness and not fainter. Better to be safe than sorry ❤️
and you’re not to know are you. You trust they know what there doing. But like you said maybe they misunderstood that the more recent tests seem to be progressing still.
you could just be an odd one and it may now be going day. Few days will tell 🤞🏼 It is and all is fine and it disappears off. X

I'm sorry it wasn't better news @LuckyMoonstone. It's horrible when you have an early loss but tests remain positive. That's exactly what happened to me in March. It was a complete headfuck, as with my previous CP the line disappeared a day or two before I started bleeding.

Report
LuckyMoonstone · 23/09/2022 19:33

@curliegirlie I just want it to be gone so I can try again! At least if it was getting fainter I would know it was on the way out. Hopefully it does

@Indianna2006 what meds did she need? I’m dreading needing to take anything that will mean I’m not allowed to TTC for a while

@Mariabombia I'm not doing too bad it's been a very busy day which helps take my mind off it. I really just wish it would hurry up and happen 🙈

@LuckyMoonstone oh gosh lovely how blooming confusing for you 🙈 it really is odd but like the others have said they need to investigate more so you get some proper answers and really when you're there in the moment it's hard to think of everything and remember all the questions so def no harm in ringing to clarify and go back for more investigations ❤️

Hey ladies!! Joining you here. Had a miscarriage 7 weeks ago (started 7th August). Positive ovulation test 15th September. DTD 2 days before and on the day of positive test. Having spotting today and hoping it’s implantation 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@LuckyMoonstone I think it was that mexy stuff which means you can’t ttc for 3 months etc. but like I said she was monitored and had several bloods over a couple of weeks before that decision was made. As hers clearly wasn’t going away. Whereas yours might go down naturally on its own as yet.
See what next few days over weekend brings but it is so bloody annoying as is never just simple is it. Bless you

@mummatara ❤️ thinking of you

@LuckyMoonstone don't be annoyed at yourself. I was an absolute mess at epu.

Well 2dpo and I've been absolutely crazy at work literally went to the toilet once in work and am nearly sure I had a little speck of blood stained CM (kinda half looked at the toilet paper before realising) which is clearly not a good sign.

@LuckyMoonstone that test is defo darker. I'm so surprised they didn't do any blood tests especially if you said they were getting darker. I guess on paper, they've done a scan, seen v low HCG levels on a cheapie test and just assume it's residual. I wouldn't panic about ectopic / unknown just yet. It's still early and you may find that your tests suddenly dip back down again. Why can't anything be simple, I'm so sorry you're going through this 💕

@MrsCristianoX I had a smear of blood in my cm a few days after O a few cycles ago. It was actually from the cycle when I was really sore during O. I remember you saying you were quite sore this month? That's probably what it is, nothing to worry about and from what I know very normal.

Report
MrsCristianoX · 23/09/2022 21:30

@bunnykins123 hopefully 🙏 I was sore a reasonable amount of time. Last cycle the pain was off the charts from ovulation til 8dpo. Was wearing black underwear so couldn't even analyse them 😂 ugh the things we do
