@LuckyMoonstone it might dry a little darker. It’s just weird how hcg is still hanging on after a cp. Did epu say this was common for cp? Def keep OPK and try temping this month and see if you can still ovulate with hcg in your system too.

@Luna57 I've never had a full on dye stealer with easy@home. The best I got was the test line a smidge darker. But nothing obvious..but I didn't make it past 6 weeks and with the first miscarriage (at 8 weeks) I stopped testing at 5 weeks. Those were happier times when I wasn't torturing myself thinking a positive test equalled baby

@Luna57 I did around 8 weeks when my MMC had already been diagnosed and I was checking to see if my levels were falling.

My opks are getting darker too but I think that’s the hcg. I haven’t been wearing my ovusense so I’ll start wearing it from tonight, just in case by some miracle ovulation does happen

@MrsCristianoX do you think I’ve anything to worry about? I can’t even get through to epu constantly busy and no point trying my gp cos it’s just bouncing questions back from receptionist to doctor and then they tell you to just phone epu anyway.

@TheBirdintheCave had you been testing before that to see progression? Wish I could just sit back and enjoy this but the lack of symptoms is driving me crazy too.

@Luna57 no I honestly don't think you should worry. Can you post the test? You will need to see them at some point though to give you an idea of how many weeks you are so although it's not urgent keep ringing and they will call you for a scan. All be it in a week.

@Luna57 whenever I finally got through to them they were good. I'd just tell them exactly how it is. Miscarriage bleed, no AF then carried out a pregnancy test to rule it out. And you weren't expecting a positive and are confused now. I'd also mention the 2-3 clearblue. With the northern trust you are entitled to a scan after a miscarriage.

@Luna57 I hadn't tested since six weeks at that point so I'm not sure how long it took to get to that point.

@LuckyMoonstone those tests are a mystery to me. You will be wasting no one's time pushing for a 48 hour blood check.

@MrsCristianoX First test was 6 days ago on smu and second was this morning. I’ll maybe try and keep phoning them.

Morning ladies wow so much has been happening. Still nothing to report here temp went back up have another scan tomorrow to confirm a miscarriage. I'm still going to wait a week or two to see if it happens au naturale before opting for the surgery. My symptoms have gone other than my sore boobs they still hurt like hell 🙄

@LuckyMoonstone gosh lovely those are some very proper lines I think another call to EPU is in order it can't hurt and they can blood test you to see what's happening then at least it it might give you an idea. Does seem very odd considering it was so early though. So sorry you're in limbo that really isn't fun at all.

@ChloeN I've never had an indent on frer the bfn have always been stark white and the faint lines turned into BFP. How many dpo were you did you say 12? Mine wasn't a proper line on frer until 14dpo the others were faint.

@Luna57 def keep on at EPU I know it's really difficult but for your own sanity you should try and find out where you're at rather than guessing on tests or you're going to drive yourself crazy ❤️ and trust me there's plenty of other things to drive yourself crazy with in pregnancy after a mc. I never carried on testing with IC strips as I only had a couple left in the box and didn't buy anymore. I did a frer at 5.5 weeks and a digital at 6 those were my last tests.

Hi everyone hoping someone here can give me some advice. I tested positive on the 16th of september, then started bleeding on the saturday until the following Wednesday. It was exactly like a normal period so I thought it was definitely a chemical. Since then I have had all the same symptoms, stretching feeling in the uterus, nausea and peeing all the time. I had one clearblue digital left so i tested this morning and its still saying pregnant. I've ordered some strips they're coming on wednesday i just don't know what's going on or if I should get in touch with my doctor before that to get a blood test. 😩

@Luna57 I must admit it’s strange I’ve had 5 tests in a row all faint lines but might of been a chemical maybe? Your lines on the easy@home look soo dark I wouldn’t be worried but I know it’s hard not too!xx

@mummatara hopefully it can start naturally to save you the hassle of being in hospital! I hate it in there😒 I think I was 12dpo yesterday but it was afternoon wee because my Amazon delivery didn’t come till the afternoon🤣 I’m just going to wait it out now, I’ve had cramps but no period as of yet!

So they finally got back to me… they’ve had to write it down that I’d of had 2 cycles without a period so she said technically today I’d be 3+6 even though I told them I got my first positive last week and got 2-3 on a digital too. They’ve booked me in for a reassurance scan for 9th October which she said on paper I’d be around 7 weeks (which still doesn’t add up on paper) but I def don’t think I’m only 4 weeks today. She was really lovely though and had lots of sympathy for my mc

@Luna57 glad they got back to you and positive you’ve got a scan, although the baby will probably be big enough to do cartwheels by then🤣

@Luna57 so glad you got through but my god does make you wonder how they come up with the numbers and how illogical it all is 🙄 at least they've got you in for a scan but I don't think you're 4 weeks either 🙈

@ChloeN I was lucky last time in and out in the day and everyone was so kind and caring. Yes def see if you can wait it out because let's face it tests are not cheap 🤦🏼‍♀️ and only 1 day to wait now I hope AF doesn't show 🤞🏼

@ChloeN i still have my fingers crossed that it’s taking 3 days for your hcg to build up and show more prominent on a FRER. Hopefully by then baby can be seen, I’ve this awful fear of making up this pregnancy in my head and there being no baby. Happened with DS I had to keep getting DH to reassure me there was something there. Even after 6 week private scan. But I def feel I had more nausea and cravings with DS. Before I had the positive test last week I couldn’t understand why all I wanted was original Pringles. That must be my cravings over without even knowing 😂

@Bouncingbeat your situation sounds a bit like @LuckyMoonstone she could maybe shed more light on it.

@mummatara i refuse to buy any more tests and I think that’ll be the last I’ll test if I’m honestly unless I start getting cramps. DH told me as soon as I tested positive not to do anymore so I’ve been doing them on the sneak and throwing the bathroom bin out asap 😂

@Luna57 😂 I used all my IC of which there were about 6 left and purposely did not buy more. Now I know I'm going to have to get a box of something to check for negativity 🙄 but I'm determined not to waste my money on a million pregnancy tests next time I get a positive. I think if DH actually knew how many I did he might divorce me 😳

@Luna57 this makes no sense..2 cycles without a period surely means later gestation 🤯

@Bouncingbeat might be worth doing a couple of tests a day or two apart so you can see line progression. If it’s going down then it’s just residual hcg taking a while to go, if it’s still going up then speak to your doc. They should refer you to your early pregnancy unit (if you can’t refer yourself, check their website). I went through 111 myself because I figured my GP would be a bit more on-the-case if 111 told them to ring me rather than me ringing myself, which worked as they sorted it all out in an afternoon
