MrsCristianoX · 20/09/2022 11:02

@LuckyMoonstone today is defo peak day..the test line crazy dark! DTD last night thank god. I have however made certain promises to DH tonight 🤢

Cindy974 · 20/09/2022 11:14

@MrsCristianoX beats laying on your back with your legs in the air then! 🤣

Mariabombia · 20/09/2022 11:32

@Cindy974 @MrsCristianoX I have one but don't use it as I found it too fiddly 🤣 more swimmers came out as we were messing about trying to put it in place . Worth a try though, I know some people swear by them.

LuckyMoonstone · 20/09/2022 11:39

@MrsCristianoX just think it’ll be the last time this cycle, go for it!

Luna57 · 20/09/2022 11:41

What is going on? Please tell me you can all see this? I’m so confused I have no idea how many dpo I am I only tested so I could phone the doctor about being a million days into my cycle with no AF

OMG @Luna57

MrsCristianoX · 20/09/2022 11:47

@Luna57 that's like a 5 week ish line does that make sense? When did you last do a preg test?

Luna57 · 20/09/2022 11:57

@MrsCristianoX the line has got darker now it’s been the full window time too. I last tested 21 days ago at what would of been 18dpo. I have no idea when this could of happened cos I didn’t have fertile mucus only those 2 hours (which in hindsight could of been sperm from the night before tmi 😂) and then we were on dtd strike for a good few days too and technically my last bleed was 29th july which can’t be used as an accurate timeline. I’m not gonna get excited I haven’t a good feeling about this, no sore boobs etc and those cramps a few days ago were similar to the cramps I got before MC

MrsCristianoX · 20/09/2022 11:59

@Luna57 right lady ring epu tell them EVERYTHING!

MrsCristianoX · 20/09/2022 12:00

@Luna57 if you are in pain or are worried they will absolutely scan you

Luna57 · 20/09/2022 12:11

@MrsCristianoX That’s the full window time line. I think I might leave it a few days and wait and see if any cramps come back or if the line gets lighter. I do have a digital I’ll maybe try it tomorrow with fmu to see how many weeks it gives me

@Luna57 I completely understand your fear but that test is really really strong. I would say you're nearer 5/6 week mark? I echo what @MrsCristianoX says in calling the epu for a second opinion. Good luck 🤞

MrsCristianoX · 20/09/2022 12:21

@Luna57 still thinking just over 5 weeks. It scary I hate ringing but you can self refer with the northern trust and they are absolutely lovely. If you have any pain at all don't hesitate xx

mummatara · 20/09/2022 12:36

Well just got out the hospital and sadly another MC. They can't diagnose a blighted ovum yet as the sack is technically still a little small it has to be 25mm or more but is 21.7 so I have to go for a follow up scan in a week so they can technically diagnose it and then I can pick which route I want to take. Not sure what the other scanner saw but there was def no yolk sac or fetal pole and I didn't see one on the other scan either. I'm gutted but had prepared myself for it. The nurse was amazing and said when we get pregnant again to call them straight away we can self refer there and they will monitor me closely and will speak to the doctor about any additional support she mentioned aspirin and progesterone.

@mummatara god I'm so very sorry. This is when nothing I can say will make you feel any better 💔 Big hugs lovely

Indianna2006 · 20/09/2022 12:55

@mummatara so very sorry lovely. It’s utterly shit. Really devastated for you.

I understand why they need to rescan in a week as they did with me but that’s frustrating also. But at least it gives you a week to think about your options ❤️
so nice to hear they will support you closely next time too.

Cindy974 · 20/09/2022 13:02

@mummatara sorry to hear it was bad news, stay strong lovely 💕

mummatara · 20/09/2022 13:03

@MrsCristianoX @Indianna2006 thank you I had mentally prepared for it but it still well and truly sucks big time. I'm so so cross with my body for not recognising it twice now and making me go through the awful first trimester symptoms.

Tbh I knew they would want to rescan in a week I think I've pretty much made up my mind to wait the two weeks from now. I have to wait a week anyway I'll wait another week to see if it will do it naturally and if it doesn't I'm going for the surgical option again.

Both times now they have been so brilliant with my MC care. I know some people have a lot of trouble getting referred to the EPU so it's good to know I can just call them next time. They are also open 24/7
