@Luna57 @MrsCristianoX me too! I reckon I get horny about one day a month...the rest is let's just say; strategic seduction, or out and out obvious request for baby making. There is NOWAY to make it spontaneous any more! Even if he thinks it is, in my mind is the want to get the deed done 🫣

MrsCristianoX · 15/09/2022 16:37

@LuckyMoonstone I'm so so sorry. I was doubled over on a beach in Barcelona it was just awful 😢

@Luna57 omg yea you get me totally. He tries to understand but he doesn't and it really irritates me. So better to pretend im really tired or bleeding or anything else atm 😭

MrsCristianoX · 15/09/2022 16:40

@FfayeN 'strategic seduction' I love it 😂

LuckyMoonstone · 15/09/2022 16:41

@MrsCristianoX awful, especially on holiday. Bad enough in the comfort of your own home 😔

LuckyMoonstone · 15/09/2022 16:41

But, onwards and upwards. Can’t be mooching around all miserable at Peppa Pig world this weekend 🤣

MrsCristianoX · 15/09/2022 16:54

@LuckyMoonstone very true. But if I'm honest I'm never booking another holiday again. It's like the curse of holidays now

ChloeN · 15/09/2022 18:00

@Luna57 oh bloody hell that’s so annoying! Fingers crossed this is proper ovulation and gets you back to normal🤞🏻🤞🏻

Cindy974 · 15/09/2022 20:14

Hi everyone

I have still been reading the thread, sorry to see a couple of you have had CPs it really is so bloody shit. @mummatara I’m sorry your scan wasnt good news, the wait is awful I know its hard to remain positive while still protecting yourself incase of the worst case scenario. It really is mental torture, I know its hard but please be kind to yourself and try and find other things to focus on until Tuesday. The worst is falling into the google trap I used to spend literal hours trawling through forums trying to find answers or stories the same as mine but you will never truly know what the outcome will be until you do, I hope your scan goes well on Tuesday 🤞🏼❤️

My first period came after my MMC which I was surprisingly happy about, it was only two days later than usual, alot heavier and more painful but only lasted 5 days. To be honest I’m actual so proud of my body, all the shit its been through these past 10 months and its still working hard to get back to normal.

i had my blood results back all was normal, he said my testosterone levels were low but that shouldn’t cause miscarriages. He also said he hadn’t ordered the correct blood clotting test so I have to go back to get 5 more vials of blood taken for that one. Still waiting on the testing on the fetus but feel like thats going to take ages.
I still have no answers but I stopped breastfeeding two days before my medical management and haven't since so I do feel like my body is slowly becoming mine again, I do wonder if my blood tests for hormonal profile would have been any different if I was still breastfeeding at the time but who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️

I feel like I’m not going to get answers and just get told its “bad luck” which is making me want to dive back into trying again 😅

mummatara · 15/09/2022 21:20

@Cindy974 thanks lovely. Tbh I think I've exhausted Google so not much left to look at now anyway 🙈 I know it doesn't change the outcome because whatever has happened has already happened or not happened the waiting is actual hell

@Cindy974 this is so heartbreaking 😢 if it helps in anyway I had a mini stroke caused by the pill when I was 24. The stroke team took 10 vials of blood. I had my DD at 27. With my last miscarriage the midwife told me the recurrent miscarriage team take 12 vials of blood. That's how detailed the blood work is. Are you with the recurrent miscarriage clinic? Did they tell you what they are looking for? This is a shit group to join but if you are looking for support we are here lovely xx

Cindy974 · 15/09/2022 22:52

@mummatara it really is, its so hard to try and stay occupied hopefully Tuesday comes quick for you x

@MrsCristiano aw bless you I’m sorry to hear that. My GP has referred me but in the meantime he ordered some blood tests they took around 9 vials of blood which tested for a variety of things which all came back normal and I’m just awaiting on a few more. They are looking for anything hormonal, blood clotting disorders and other things which I’m not 100% sure on. Also awaiting an appointment for a pelvic ultrasound. Its hard though because all three of my miscarriages have been so different. Thank you lovely 💕

bunnykins123 · 16/09/2022 07:25

@Cindy974 I remember talking to you before your last pregnancy, I'm sorry you found yourself back here and for your loss. Following my 3rd miscarriage, I have had all the tests done but they include NK cells. My bloods are all normal but NK cells elevated so I'm not on medication to suppress my immune system. Do you know if your tests include NK cells?

@Indianna2006 I hope everything went well yesterday at the scan 🤞

bunnykins123 · 16/09/2022 07:25

@Cindy974 that's supposed to say I am on medication! 🤦‍♀️

Cindy974 · 16/09/2022 07:30

@bunnykins123 yeah I have dipped in and out of here a few times 😅 I don't think they do no, are you on prednisolone now? Were these tests with the recurrent miscarriage clinic? It was my GP who carried out my blood tests so wonder if they will do more at the RMC x

Indianna2006 · 16/09/2022 07:42

@Cindy974 sorry you find yourself here. Lots of support to be had though ❤️

@bunnykins123 yes thank you it did.
scan wasn’t until later on in evening and I’d worked myself up in the day an had made myself feel SO ill fretting about it.
All looking okay, measuring 2 days ahead 🤞🏼 So now just to get to 12 week scan 🙈

@mummatara thinking of you lovely. Just the weekend and BH to get through and your there. The wait is awful ❤️

bunnykins123 · 16/09/2022 07:44

@Cindy974 do you know specifically what you've had done? Mine were done on the NHS with the reoccurring miscarriage clinic. I have also had tests done with the GP but they were basic ones line full blood panel and thyroid. I'm not on Pred but on hydroxychloroquine which I've been on for a few weeks. I have cyclogest too but not using that as I've read it can prevent implantation so will take if after a bfp.

Cindy974 · 16/09/2022 08:18

@mummatara he said he did the ones that are recommended by the RMC, hes ordered another clotting one as he said he didnt do the right one the first time. I can view my results online and see what hes tested for. Im glad you are having some treatment I hope it all works out for you 🤞🏼

bunnykins123 · 16/09/2022 08:29

@Cindy974 that's really good! If you can speed up the process with the GP, that's perfect! Let me know and I'll let you know if any are missing.

@Indianna2006 brilliant news! Really happy for you 💕💕

Everythingzrosie · 16/09/2022 09:23

mummatara · 16/09/2022 09:50

@Indianna2006 so glad your scan went well 💕 bet it feels like one little hurdle over 💪🏼 will you have anymore early ones do you think or just wait for the 12 week now?

OP posts:
Indianna2006 · 16/09/2022 12:19

@mummatara try just wait for 12 weeks I think. One it’s expensive to keep going isnt it..And going doesn’t change the outcome. Because I could go at 10 weeks and it looks perfect and it still change so think I’ll just wait.

I’ve waited 4 weeks for this one so can wait 4 weeks again I think. It’s such a nervous anxious time. It’s horrible. An I never felt like that in my first pregnancy I was all so naive about it all and actually excited! Until it all went wrong.

mummatara · 16/09/2022 12:48

@Indianna2006 yes it's not cheap 🙈 and babies are expensive enough all the pennies count. I know the feeling I was in blissful ignorance with DS and the last one until it goes tits up and it makes me feel sad because the blissful ignorance is gone never to come back there will always be the anxiety there. When we went for the scan and it was empty honestly I wasn't even shocked I lay there and thought well that's sods bloody law I knew it was too good to be true I think that upsets me even more 😳 least you've got us to get you through the next 4 weeks 💪🏼

OP posts:
Indianna2006 · 16/09/2022 12:52

@mummatara I know exactly what you mean. I kept thinking yesterday. There will be nothing there and then I’d be like told you so. It’s so pessimistic but it’s so hard not to do it. And to try believe it can and make actually work at some point.

RaliaMusca · 16/09/2022 13:30

I have a random question. Did anyone else feel terribly bloated in early pregnancy and after a MC? My tummy is usually quite flat but I thought I'd gotten a bump when I was only 6 weeks along. Even now that the pregnancy is gone my tummy is still rounder and I often feel bloated. Haven't gained any weight in kilos at all.

TheBirdintheCave · 16/09/2022 15:30

Currently sitting on the terrace of our hotel in my handmade blouse and shorts, looking at the Alhambra with my husband whilst the toddler naps. Bliss 🥰
