HJA87 · 12/09/2022 17:27

@ChloeN this happened to me this past cycle. Static smiley was 2 days before my peak on the easy@home strips.

MrsCristianoX · 12/09/2022 17:28

@ChloeN Yep what @HJA87 said static normally arrives first don't panic xx

ChloeN · 12/09/2022 17:38

@HJA87 @MrsCristianoX thank you both! I’ll keep testing! Xx

theblueflowers · 12/09/2022 19:34

I've been away and have missed so much!

@LuckyMoonstone this is amazing to see! I've got everything crossed that your line gets clearer. How is your chart looking?!

@curliegirlie there is definitely a line on that IC! That's insane if it's an indent- I didn't even need to squint.

Indianna2006 · 12/09/2022 20:09

@mummatara how are you feeling lovely? It’s such a long horrible wait!
If it’s any help I went to window to the womb. And found them very professional and very good. There a big company so think they tend to do quite well. If you didn’t want to have to wait those 10 days to see EPU.
Altho it’s hard to know what will of changed. Did they confirm a heart beat and give you the measurements of the the baby or not? Sorry can’t remember quite what you said. Just that it was measuring earlier and she wasn’t sure?

RaliaMusca · 12/09/2022 20:32

Hi all,

I'm new here. I have a nearly four year old little girl and was very excited to tell her about her sibling growing in my belly. Unfortunately on 24 August at my 12 week scan we were told that the baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks. I had even had an early scan the week before and had seen a healthy heartbeat so this came as a huge shock.
I had a mva five days later. It's been two weeks since then and my pregnancy tests are finally getting negative. Only a very faint line now so I'm hoping to start trying again and catch ovulation asap.

Annoyingly I started bleeding (old brown blood) again this afternoon. EPU said it's nothing to worry about for now. But we're going on holiday to Greece on Wednesday and I worry it'll get worse or I won't be able to go swimming in the sea. The thought of swimming in my favourite lagoon has literally kept me going for the past three weeks.

Anyway, that's all from me so far. Never wanted to end up here but happy to meet you all regardless! X

mummatara · 12/09/2022 20:52

@Indianna2006 I'm so up and down on what to do I keep changing my mind I've almost booked a scan 2 times today. She said that there might be a foetal pole she couldn't really tell but there was a yolk sac. It looked very much like a blighted ovum to me but there was one sort of go over it was a millisecond where you kind of thought is that something. She def didn't see a HB which is why I think she said it looked closer to 6 weeks. I suppose one of the biggest problems in these places is the appointment time is 5 minutes so I guess she can only do so much looking around whereas at least at the EPU will have a very thorough look which is why I'm in two minds about booking another I think. It really really looked empty I've been for scans at 7 and 9 before and there was an obvious blob

Indianna2006 · 12/09/2022 20:59

@mummatara oh yes I see what you mean. Yes if she couldn’t see a heart beat like than it would if dated earlier than that. Guess maybe that’s why she didn’t measure.
My scan at window to womb they did measure an I was measuring 6+1. And I could see the blob. But I was expecting a 8-9 week baby which looks very different by that point. An I could see the heart beat. But would of been harder to make out the blob without the hb tbh. Cos it doesn’t look anything like a baby at 6 weeks rly. As then later on EPu we’re unsure about the fetal poke as it had shrunk.

i think it’s awful to wait but it may give you a more infinite answer.
you could go to window to womb in a few days. And it should show some growth and a heart beat. So it may give you answer bit quicker.
but EPU is where you need to go if it’s not the answer we all hope for you.
it’s so agonising waiting. It’s so awful. An I only waited 2 days and it felt like a lifetime. As EPU got me in so quick. So handheld for you ❤️

mummatara · 12/09/2022 21:12

@Indianna2006 I am going to try my hardest to wait because I think like you say there will be a better answer for me but I wish so badly they didn't make me wait this long I'm driving myself mad. And there's always the 50/50 stories of the good and the bad on the internet 🤦🏼‍♀️ I know I shouldn't look but can't help myself 😂 I keep saying it's only 7 sleeps now you can do it

OP posts:
mummatara · 12/09/2022 21:14

@Indianna2006 not a better answer that's the wrong descriptive word because the better answer would be it's a miracle your baby was hiding 🤦🏼‍♀️ my poor brain 🙄 definitive answer good job you all know what I mean 😂

Has anyone had shorter/ slightly lighter periods following a D&C? I had an ERPC in April and have had 5 periods since which have all been slightly different to each other but noticeably lighter than my periods before. My first paranoid thought is that it could be Asherman's syndrome but also aware that perhaps and hopefully it's hormones still levelling out although I would have thought it wouldn't have taken this long. I take my bbt and it looks like it's relatively back to normal. Just confused and worried that my period seems to have now changed!

Luna57 · 12/09/2022 22:00

@MrsCristianoX sorry about your CP! It’s just shite!

@LuckyMoonstone i can def see lines!!!!

literally no update here from me… currently cd46 no sign of AF. According to Premom I’m meant to be on my next cycle at peak fertility 🤷🏼‍♀️ If AF hasn’t arrived come the end of the month I’m gonna phone the doctors because this is def not normal for me and it’s worrying that the MC has done something to me. I only bled for 2 days during the MC in July surely there’s more inside of me 😂

Luna57 · 12/09/2022 22:03

@mummatara sorry that your scan didn’t go how you had planned. Hoping it was just the old woman’s mind playing tricks on her and got the dates wrong (def being ageist now 😬) hoping the next few days fly in for you and you get the best news

MrsCristianoX · 12/09/2022 22:47

@Luna57 did they scan you after your miscarriage? I'd be at my wits end by now😢

MrsCristianoX · 12/09/2022 22:48

@Luna57 what trust are you in?

ER20 · 13/09/2022 05:48

@Mabelledox Hi, I had the same procedure in July, only one period since which was a lot lighter than usual and not painful which concerned me but speaking to others it seems quite common.

LuckyMoonstone · 13/09/2022 07:23

Did another FRER this morning and it’s still light but definitely more obvious than yesterday 😄 thank god! Maybe I can have a break now and test again later in the week, feel like I can’t rest until I get that dark blazing line

TheBirdintheCave · 13/09/2022 07:43

AF arrived properly this morning thank goodness! I will be able to swim on sunday :D

bunnykins123 · 13/09/2022 08:07

@LuckyMoonstone oooo send us a picccc!! 🤞

@Luna57 I wouldn't panic just yet, it could just be jumpy hormones. We're you regular before? Are you having any other cycle signed like cm, o pains etc? If it does continue, you may want to look up Ashermans Syndrome (it's pretty uncommon tbf) It's unlikely to be this but if AF doesn't arrive within the next few weeks it may be worth speaking to the GP about getting a scan/specialist to look into this.

@Mabelledox I think a ERPC can cause hormones to go a bit jumpy. The further along you were too, the longer it takes to normalise. Mine have defo changed since my miscarriages. I know a bit about ashermans syndrome but the fact you are having regular periods albeit a bit lighter doesn't strike me as anything to worry about (mine were the same). I defo wouldn't jump to ashermans just yet, I would give it a while longer delving into this as the only way it's diagnosed is via a camera up the foof 😳

@mummatara oh god, Googling is the worst. You'll always find something awful and it adds to the stress. I know it's hard, but I actually think you should wait for the nhs scan. You've already done 2/10 days (well done 🙏) so you're already getting closer. Can you throw yourself into something to distract yourself? Like making something? Gardening lol - I don't know but basically taking you anywhere away from google and distract your mind?

bunnykins123 · 13/09/2022 08:09

@TheBirdintheCave oh hun I'm sorry. AF is such a witch.

@RaliaMusca @Everythingzrosie welcome to the group, sorry you have found yourself here and for your loss 💕
