Ah, but it was nice though, I like hugs! Poor DD is always being grabbed and pulled into bear hugs just cos I wanted one or was amused by something silly she did

Actually, she pulled and pushed me into one the other day, when I was sitting on the floor chatting to my mum. We were in stitches, esp when she planted not one, not two, but three kisses!!
I am such a smitten kitten!

MrsEi25 · 23/01/2008 21:07

ah TF how sweeti love it when my DD does things like that- they are really rare as she would rather pinch than kiss ATM how old is your DD?? mine is 2 (just turned a few weeks ago) i love being the proud mummy...OMG i cant wait for another...all this talk is making me super broody!! right im off to surprise DH might as well get another BD in as im meant to Ov tomorrow or the next day according to FF!! see yas later

JB Thanks I will revisit my FF info and see what I should be doing/looking at to try & make sense of what my temps mean. I'm on the 30 day free trial but don't want to pay for it if I can't work out how to use the bloomin thing.

TF You sound like me, worry worry worry on the inside but calm and serine (sp?) on the outside

Bucky My reflexology was a bit the same last Thursday, I think I wanted her to say yep here you are, all done, now you will get PG! But she said it will take a few sessions to rebalance my whole being, especially my head!!
Egg made me lets just hope when ever the eggs arrive they bloody well get fertilised this cycle.

Mrsei Thank you

Sorry for not giving many of you a personal mention but I'm on the laptop with no pen & paper by my side for notes. Hope you're all well.

twinklingfairy · 23/01/2008 21:17

My DD is 16mo, too mrsei

Thanks for the advice pistachio I am sitting on my behind right now, typing away, with a massive pink ball in front of me and the only one who ever uses it is DD
Bout time I did some excercise!!

mibbes · 23/01/2008 21:38

MrsEi OMG I am so excited to feature in another pregnancy dream. Didn't your first one featured DG and it came true ? woohoo lucky me . Mind you being on the big one at 8 months is probably not very clever !
MTW Oh my word, you take notes !! I'm very impressed .
Well ladies you have convinced me to start going to the gym to channel obsessing into something besides ttc. Thanks for six-pack tips Pistachio . The crappy weather has been the perfect excuse not to run this month, but I can't use that excuse about the gym !
Bucky good luck with drinking lots of water, I have been hitting herbal teas and diluting juice to make water more bearable.
Fairy 11 days is fine, I just thought you had said you may try vitB6 - I'll let you know if it makes any difference

twinklingfairy · 23/01/2008 22:49

I defo thought I would, try the vitB6, but have now worried, and even started a thread about it, and now I have decided that I am worrying over nothing, just so that I had something to worry about.
see: my worry over 5 day AF visit
I have a worrying problem, I worry too much

BabyBump2B · 24/01/2008 00:18

TF - you crack me up with your ability to work yourself into a worry over anything! Breathe girl! (but don't worry about breating

Pistacho - I would love a flat stomach but I've always had that little "bump" that doesn't want to go away. I've been told you have to bring your body fat right down to get it to go away and that would involve not drinking which isn't going to happen until I get pregnant - and a belly so seems I'm doomed!

TF - I think pilates is the best way to a flat stomach. Just taken it back up again and the morning after a class I can really notice a difference!

MrsEI - I love your dreams! They seem to be a good luck sign so fingers crossed for you Mibbes!

scully · 24/01/2008 02:15

BB2B, know what you mean about drinking and a flat stomach, I'm also unlikely to achieve it if that's the case
Cd27 for me today, not wanting to test before next Tues though and managed not buy a test today, even though I had a long look at them when in the supermarket......

FurtivelyPosting · 24/01/2008 10:37

Morning ladies! All this talk of exercise and flat stomachs has made me feel exhausted (and I've realised what an appalling sloth I am)!

How's everyone doing today? Not much to report here; still feeling knackered (although that could be due to DS suddenly deciding to wake at the crack of dawn for the past couple of days), boobs are a bit more sensitive (but that could be PMS, perhaps) and having little emotional wobbles every now and then. I was in tears to DH as soon as he got home from work yesterday over something I felt all worked up about (again could be PMS).

I've noticed something else too and this is a little embarrassing to say the least. I seem to be trumping an awful lot! I noticed this last time with DS - before I'd even tested or was late, I noticed that trumps kept popping out all over the place. It was terrible. Seems to be happening again. Let's hope that it is pregnancy related and not that I've just become a very trumpy lady.....

MissusH · 24/01/2008 10:47

Hi All, no bosses here today so I can stop the ninja moves!

Couldn't pop in last night as a) DH is a bona fide laptop hog and b) I have the lurgy so as soon as dd was in bed I curled up on the sofa with my poorly blanket [self pity emoticon]

I had a really vivid dream last night!! I dreamt that I was going on my hols to polynesia with my parents & my ex boyfriend (no dh - oops). The flight was to Australia and then we had to change to a small propeller one.

When we got to the island there was a welcoming committee but there had been a storm and they had all been blown over and squashed. So we had to get off the plane and help them before the holiday could start. Then I realised I had forgotten to pack my swimming cossie so I had to buy one, but the lady in reception said the water was so warm I didn't need one!!

How mad is that?? I can never normally remember my dreams but this one is still so real...

mibbes · 24/01/2008 11:29

I think we should change the thread name to "symptom Spotting and mental dreams !" - loving the dreams ladies ! A few more pregnant ones for some other ladies from MrsEi would be great !
FP I'm sure I've heard that wind is a symptom - sounds good (the symptom not the trump !!)
Fairy am also very amused by your constant worrying, you need a LOTV massage to help you relax

lol, that's reassuring mibbes but doesn't make me pleasant company at the moment!

pistachio i'm trying really hard to be nonchalant and not get my hopes up. i think i'm just obsessing and it will only lead to disappointment in the end.

mind you, i'm waiting for some hpts i bought on ebay to turn up and i don't know if i'll be able to hold back. oh dear!

glastochick · 24/01/2008 12:57

Grrrrr, this 2WW is going soooooo slowly

I'm getting so impatient. I want to get to next week so I will know if AF is on her way or if I can tentatively test!!!

Patience has never been one of my virtues.

Had more bizarre dreams. Tuesday night I was walking through the woods with a dog (no idea who the dog belonged to) when I came to a clearing to see my old manager and one of our traders snogging really passionately! Gross.

Last night had a really bad dream about one of the cats, and so did DH oddly enough (but that was about a different cat). He won't tell me what he dream't because he knows I will be upset.

On a nicer note, he's booked me in for a facial and a massage on Saturday . Bless.

ok, feeling a bit better now for small rant and virtual stomping of feet

fruitloop79 · 24/01/2008 13:49

Hi guys,

Just want your opinion really. I've just posted this on the waiting room thread and thought I'd ask you lovely ladies what you think too:

Just a thought....

My Trans-vag scan is a week on Monday. Do you think if there's a slight (very slight) chance I may be preg it would be wise for someone to be prodding about my bits? Or do you reckon they might be able to tell if there's the start of something there? (other than PCO iykwim). I'm getting my hopes up ever so slightly. Trying desperately to convince myself otherwise (I'm sure you all know how difficult that is!). It's just that I've had spotting recently and I woke up this morning feeling sooo tired (I thought my alarm clock was wrong and I'd been rudely awakened in the middle of the night). Even two coffees couldn't wake me. I do realise that I am slightly anaemic which can make me tired so I'm completely aware that I'm symptom spotting (aaaagggghhhhh!) self distruction - I know sad. I really don't want to test cos I know what the outcome will be and anyway as I keep banging on - I really don't think I've ov'd yet.

MrsEi25 · 24/01/2008 16:04

hi girls
how are we all today??
FP ooooh sounds like a bona fide symptom to me!! (i had this with DD) when can you test??
mibbes i will try and add a few more ladies into my dream so you arent lonely on the big one had the same dream again last night but i wasnt on the ride just you my friend i will prob google dreams and see what this could mean, but who knows it might be another true one i hope it is
GC im soooo about your facial and massage appt!! my DH doesnt even like me to go the hair dressers as they take too long so there fat chance of a lovely surprise along those lines for me
FL do you think it might be worth doing a test before your TVS?? that way you will be armed with info to make sure things will be safe to have the scan. i dont know much about this kind of scan apart from the fact that it is often the scan of choice in early pregnancy so it must be a safe option if it is used for this purpose HTH

mibbes · 24/01/2008 16:04

Oh dear FL what a nightmare. If by the time of your appt you still think you could be PG take a test with FMU and see, that way you can ask the Doc whether safe to do if PG. I guess if you've been spotting already (and it is due to implantation) you'd definitely get BFP if PG by a week Monday. Hope your suspicions are right...

twinklingfairy · 24/01/2008 17:50

Glad I am amusing you guys.
I am so not like that really. or maybe I am but I have never been telling anyone but DH all my neurotic thoughts. He and my mum always just say, 'hmm, maybe/maybe not'
Actually, when I ramble on, mum just says,'yes dear' and gives me a smile to say you are rambling now

CD7 already 10 days to ov, god how sad am I on my count down?

I bought a pilates DVD once, it came with one of those stretchy bands. It was hard work! I didn't do it for long
How do you do tummy crunches on one of those balls, I fell off!!

FurtivelyPosting · 24/01/2008 19:15

MrsEi25 - well, according to FF, I should wait until 30th to test (another 6 days). I don't think I'll be able to wait that long. I'm expecting a delivery of HPTs from ebay but no idea when they'll turn up. I bought them 8 days ago and emailed the seller yesterday to ask when they were sent but haven't heard anything back. If they miraculously turn up in the post tomorrow morning, I might chance doing a test then or maybe waiting for my first wee of the day on Saturday.

If I was thinking sensibly, I'd wait until the 30th as I'm just setting myself up for disappointment. The symptoms that I have been having seem to have disappeared today, so it was probably all in my mind. And I'm now a bit farty to boot.

fruitloop79 · 24/01/2008 19:15

I'll be far too scared to test! If I'm lucky and there's a little someone in there, I'd rather them surprise me at the scan. I'll just have to convince myself until then that everything's normal and not pg. It;s gonna be very difficult. Maybe I should dtay away from here till then can't see that happening! ha ha.

Twink I never use those balls. Very embarrassing at the gym to fall off anything! My friend fell off the treadmill and was too embarrasses to go back! - she sticks to swimming now, ha ha

MrsEi25 · 24/01/2008 19:50

FP i ordered some HPTs from ebay last week and they came a few days ago i couldnt resist testin one out and it was obv BFN but i was undully excited thinkin oooh i can test to my hearts desire when the time comes i only spent £6 on 10 very early ones so give me 10 days or so and il be using them all up and have to buy more (well hopefully i wont need more than 1 but who knows eh?!) does anyone know whether these are reliable or not? i should have asked before i bought them really but no harm in checkin now is there!!
FL i really hope you get a nice surprise on your TVS and they see a little bean and no PCOS and then you will not feel scared to test to give us the BFP test result aswell as a scan one

BabyBump2B · 24/01/2008 19:50

Ah to test or not to test that is the question...

FL you have such great will power in holding off the testing - think I was a testing addict!

FP can you split the difference and test on Monday?

You ladies do realise that now I have to wait till April to try again I am going to live (and test) vicariously through all of you!

But it also means that instead of sending all my hopes and prayers for me being pg I'm sending them to you!!!

Those exercise balls are dangerous but I'm thinking of getting one to sit on at my desk at home as I seem to turn into the hunchback of notre Dame in front of the computer!

MrsEi25 · 24/01/2008 19:53

BB2B how come you cant TTC til april if you dont mind me askin ( or have you told us already??) i would welcome the baby thoughts from you with open arms if you dont need any for a bit
