FP only 5% of pregnant ladies get a BFP on 8dpo...pretend it never happened

MrsEi sounds like ov-pain to me. some women can get it a day or two before ov though, so keep bd'ing!

Fruitloop having just had a little scare myself, doc sent me off for another scan this morning. The sonographer couldn't see much from an external (heart-stopping moment) so she did an internal - which is what you'll be having...and they got a much clearer view of the little bean (thank god!). Was a lot less uncomfortable than a smear test, so don't worry. Weird thing is, they put a condom on it and then blob loads of KY on it. If there's anything to see, they will see it, if you have the willpower you could always save yourself the cost of a test and just wait to see what happens on Monday.

Bucky not to worry about last week . be lovely to catch up next month though!

Hi MrsEi am very well - trying not to obsess too much as I fear that is what delayed ov last cycle. Just taking temps and playing with FF ! Only CD3 so a bit boring.

Just popping in to say thanks for all of the reassurances, ladies - 8DPO is obviously way too early to test. What was I thinking?! I used a perfectly good Clearblue test instead of waiting for my cheapies. What a dummy!

I'm heading off into the snowy mountains for the weekend with 2 other couples - 1 with a gorgeous 2 month old girl and another who's 4 months pg so will be bringing all those baby vibes back to distribute on Monday

Hello all

I went to the doctors regarding evil clotting and weird periods. I've already had lots of tests, so they're sending me for an ultrasound.

However.. I'm having to take DD to hospital. She's having social problems, along with bizarre habitual ticks. She's been referred. She is potentially on the autistic spectrum. This has ground my baby-making plans to an abrupt halt. I'm quite stressed with everything at the moment, and this week has made me question whether this is the right time for me to bring another life into my disorganised existence.

I'm thinking of stopping plans to conceive until both DD and I have seen respective consultants, and I know better where I stand.

It's a bloody hard decision to make, as I want a baby.

But. Needs must.

So, I am wishing you all tonnes of baby dust and luck, and I will hopefully be back to see you all (on the pg forum, where of course you will be) in several months.

BB2B have a lovely time in the snowy mountains and make sure you get a hold of the baby as apparrantly it helps with conception to hold a new baby i know you have top wait but i dont know anyone with a new baby so you can send us the new baby smell for us to sniff

oh abbey sorry to hear about your and DDs problems. its good that the doc has referred you for a scan to find out what is goin on though FWIW a friend of mine had similar concerns about her DS and when he was referred they said he had mild OCD tendencies and that he might grow out of this in time i hope it is not anything too serious and you are all ok xx {{{{{hugs}}}}}

Joining Weightwatchers seems to have done the trick. I tested earlier this evening and got an immediate strong BFP

Am totally stunned as I thought it was my body playing tricks again...

According to those due date calender thingys my due date will be sept 26th so plenty of time between dds b'day in may and mrsbean's!

I'm still gobsmacked as I had a 35 day cycle last month so thought it would be more of the same as the days rolled on...

Pistachio My DD has a cold too, I was up 3 times in the night and up proper at 6.50am so I know what you mean.

JB Those thermometers are so noisey first thing in the morning! I always worry about waking DH with thermometer and then spending ages in the loo doing my FMU and monitor stuff when he is has been woken by me and trying to get ready for work!

DG I've probably missed you but wanted to say have a fab holiday. Really glad to hear you have had your mind put at rest with a lovely scan now you really can relax.

Now about me.......I'm confused.....again!
I've input all the info re temps, CM, OPK's etc into FF today and they reckon I OV CD9 and that is the only day this week we did not BD!!!!!! However my Persona reckons CD10/CD11. So I'm hoping some little swimmers survived or I OV late and we caught it. Still there's not much I can do now except have one last shot at it tonight and keep our fingers crossed.

Oh dear, I think I am ov'ing today.
Pains in my tum, on the left. Feels just like ov pains I have had before. And I checked my ecrvix which seems quite high. Also, my temp has dropped.
Haven't done any BDing yet hope we are not too late!!

Mibbes I am substituting the water with gin at the moment...not good . The reflexologist is checking up on me too bless her...she was a sweetie, and wants to see me after school next week...Not sure. It was nice, but I am torn between...'what will be will be, let nature take its course' and 'oh my god, I have to live like a nun immediately and detox and cast out all the poisons of day to day life like tap water with evil contraceptive pill hormones in it, out from my temple of a body'. My mum has given me these things that you stick on the soles of your feet when you go to bed and all your toxins are supposed to be drawn out. If they are black in the morning I will book in with the reflexologist ...nice huh.

So, I'm CD13 and all done and dusted Let's hope I have finally caught an egg.

I have now decided that is was a false alarm. No EWCM. and cervix was not as high as I first thought, on second expidition(sp?).
Just as well, BD was a complete no go. DH trying to show his manly stamina, ended in nowt
