I’m on CD6. Starting SMEP for the first time in 2 days. Anyone else? Let’s encourage and support each other. 😀

@Baby3herewego thats so wrong and silly of them to say that. Ofcourse after what you have experienced it is very likely your hormone levels dropped very quickly especially as it is very early days anyway. You honestly don’t expect such insensitivity from maternity staff or even other women. I hope you are getting lots of rest and cuddles. Feel better soon and you know where to find us all if you need somewhere impartial to let it all out x

@Blessedmummytobe I wasn’t even seen by anyone from the maternity side. Just normal doctors and nurses. I feel it would have been very different if I had been seen in the early pregnancy unit by an actual midwife but by the time I got the see anyone, they had already closed.

might just take a few days off here to regroup myself xxx

hipposinacircle · 26/07/2022 10:29

Sorry this has happened @Baby3herewego

This sounds very similar to what happened to me last week. I got 1-2 weeks on a digital on Sunday, started spotting on the Tuesday and by the time I went to EPAU on Wednesday, my urine test was negative and blood test showed super low level of HCG. So it must have just come and gone very quickly but I know I was definitely pregnant, albeit for a very short time. Symptoms etc leading up to the BFP were all there.

Take some time to look after yourself.

Hi how is everyone doing? I'm now 7dpo and not feeling anything really so not feeling hopeful. I know it's still early though

Blessedmummytobe · 29/07/2022 18:53

Hi @EdinburghGirl1 7 DPO is still quite early. Give it a few days. I’m ok thanks. No major changes or symptoms yet x

BFN at 11dpo so pretty sure I'm out this month. Just going to wait for AF to show up and onto cycle 3. Going to try SMEP again though

Blessedmummytobe · 04/08/2022 17:35

Hi all,

I’m so scared and anxious today. My symptoms keep coming and going. Had some cramps last night and this morning I wiped and there was redish pink blood. Not a lot at all. Hasn’t increased. I really hope this is not the start of a MC. I was in tears. Thinking of trying to go to the EPU.

@Blessedmummytobe sorry you are feeling like that. Did you go to the EPU? I also feel like I might be having another mc. My boobs have been killing for a week and suddenly they have just gone back to normal. This is how I have felt with my other pregnancies. Such an awful feeling. I hope you're ok

Blessedmummytobe · 21/10/2022 07:48

Hi all. Hope everyone is well.

just an update to say I lost my baby. So so heart broken. It’s been just over a week now and all I can do is think about trying again. Is that bad? I feel as though I don’t want to mourn I want my baby.

i will try SMEP again. Worked first time for me. Bleeding seems to have slowed/stopped. Will try and track my cycle…probably won’t try this month but definately next cycle.

love to you all x
