July SMEP - anyone joining?

I’m on CD6. Starting SMEP for the first time in 2 days. Anyone else? Let’s encourage and support each other. 😀

But I think it is probably a bit too much for implantation bleeding. Have put a cup in and if it stops I will test in a couple of days, but I don't have high hopes. Plus this is also how my last AF started (seems to be the new way since coming off the pill).

A little disappointed but this is only my first cycle trying, so I can't complain too much.

Hi @Pepilachat stay positive! If it doesn’t happen this month, try again. If you have just come off the pill it could take a while. Have you been tracking?

i have felt a bit rotten tbh. Keep having the chills shivers bony ache tiredness and awful cramps. Almost feels like flu or covid but haven’t tested as it does seem to keep coming and going x

Hi @Baby3herewego I'm 3dpo today. I was hoping to get in the final BD for SMEP last night but OH was tired 😔 which got me all emotional and upset! Crazy hormones probably not helping. Feeling a bit meh today now. Feel like this week is going to drag. How are you doing?

@Baby3herewego I am good over here…felt a lil like AF was coming yesterday and today is when I would be due so I will take that second test at some point today.

@EdinburghGirl1 don’t be stressed. The 2nd of the three days is most important anyway as it can catch the oldest swimmers from a quick early ovulation, the fast ones from a late ovulation on the third day. Also it’s like to be the day you ovulate so you are definately still in the game!

Thanks @Blessedmummytobe I know we did the most important ones. Just me being silly and emotional. I didn't sleep that well the night before which doesn't help. Just need to get through the waiting game now. Keeping my fingers crossed for you today

Got a BFP on easy at home yesterday at 9DPO and this today at 10DPO. I have had 3 miscarriages so just expecting the worst again but I wanted to share for anyone thinking about doing SMEP. This was our first try at doing SMEP after 5 cycles of nothing!

@chasingtherainbow1 congratulations this seems to be one happy positive thread. Let's hope it continues. I'm now 4dpo and hoping this week doesn't pass by too slowly. We have booked a holiday for September so can do some holiday planning to keep me distracted

I think I’m going through a chemical pregnancy and I’m beside myself. I woke up as normal. Went to the loo and there was blood when I wiped, then it started dripping out of my and something plopped into the toilet. It was fairly big and looked like a huge blood clot. I was too scared to pick it out and look at it properly though. That was 6:30 this morning and I’m still bleeding loads. My doctors are so busy they I’m not even being added to the waiting queue and then maternity unit isn’t answering the phone…

oh no baby3, how many weeks are you? That’s so upsetting. Are you far along enough for a scan?

Well after an incredibly long day in A&E I’ve been told the levels in my blood and urine are so low that I could have never been pregnant. They can’t explain why I got so many positive pregnancy tests though and told me to feel free to take another at home. WTAF???

@Baby3herewego Oh my goodness I'm so sorry. How can that be you hot so many positives. So strange. That seems very insensitive of them to say that to you about another test. I'm sorry you're going through this

@EdinburghGirl1 whatever is going on, this is definitely not just my period being late ( like another doctor thought she’d giggle at me while saying ) The blood is still pouring out of me. Not just drips but like you slowly pouring liquid. Amazed I’ll have an blood left if this continues.

that can’t be right. So many tests can’t be wrong, particularly not the clear blue digital. It sounds like a chemical where the hormones have dropped quite sharply if I was to take a guess ☹️ I hope you’re okay, must be very disappointing and bewildering ❤️

@Wouldloveanother that’s what I though. I said as I took the tests a week ago, if the chemical started later that day or even a few days after, would every just be coming out now and my levels have dropped. She looked at me like I was a nutcase.
