July SMEP - anyone joining?

I’m on CD6. Starting SMEP for the first time in 2 days. Anyone else? Let’s encourage and support each other. 😀

Heyyy!

Hows everyone doing?

I had the sharp pains a few days ago. Cant remember exactly when tbh but closer to ovulation. I had a twinge today - a dull ache and not painful at all. I have been feeling very much how I feel when AF is about to show up aswell so hoping those are good cramps.

Still 11 days wait for me…sigh.

I’m gonna have to keep busy and make the most of the weather as a distraction.

Morning ladies!!! Nearly the weekend. I woke up and gagged at the smell of my own wee 😂still lots if little mild twinges shock feelings happening. Feeling nauseous.

Hopefully! @Baby3herewego I’m praying it is. Though I can’t help thinking that missing the day before ovulation peak and day 3 of SMEP (every day bit) is gonna bite me on the arse. 😩

@Blessedmummytobe sperm can live for quite a while so fingers crossed there were lots of swimmers waiting for when your egg was released. What day are you planning on testing? Xx

@Baby3herewego a lot of places ot says sperm lives upto 5 days but I have also seen that it’s more like 0.7-1.4 days. Well I’m on CD 21 today. So im going to try and wait another week. Just had some cramping but not sure it’s that’s because I only just had something to eat for the first time today. How about you? X

@Blessedmummytobe hmmm I’ve only ever read and been told it’s around 5 days. I’m on CD20 so planning on testing a week today (hubs birthday) my apps are saying I can start testing on Monday but I want to try to hold off a bit longer.

@Blessedmummytobe had awful backache last night, crazy dream that I had implantation bleeding and took a positive pregnancy test. Woken to feeling so nauseous.

@Baby3herewego I also had a vivid dream I was pregnant aswell! And a girl from work too lol. I’m not so nauseous this morning though. I am quite gassy though. Lol.

Hi I am planning on trying SMEP this month too so thought I'd join. On CD5 or cycle 2 ttc but after reading lots about it thought I'd give it a go to increase our chances

We have done it for the first time this month. I got positive opk's yesterday and the day before. Does that mean I would ovulate 12-48 hours after the first positive test or the second?

We've been dtd anyway and plan on again tonight but not sure if we should do an extra day too. It's so tiring 😂

@chasingtherainbow1 are they positives or peek? It’d normally from the peek that it will happen within 12-24 hours.

@Blessedmummytobe the cramping is on another level and don’t even get me started on the back ache. Just had a teeny streak of vvvvvv pale pink in my cm when I wiped so will be keeping my eyes on that now.

@Baby3herewego Awww man. I feel not so positive ☹️ I haven’t had any cramping today really. I did get a strong pang of nausea earlier and again earlier I had the feeling I get when AF is due but that’s not for Another week for me. So gutted tbh. @EdinburghGirl1 welcome!

@Baby3herewego they were both peak, like darker than the control line. I've tried to do some googling to see and it looks like you should accept the first one as positive. I've been given progesterone to take 4dpo and just contemplating day will be best and when to stop dtd.

Hiya @Baby3herewego I went out with a friend to take my mind off it but I still felt drained as if AF is en route but still super early tbh. I did have some white discharge before (tmi sorry!) but we shall see…
