AF due 21st. Should I have any symptoms by now if I am?

Really hoping I am but am trying not to get too excited at the same time.

Got morning sickness real bad with ds1, but not with ds2.

I did second test today and BFN so despite still feeling sick, not liking milky drinks and having backache I have resigned myself to it all being in the mind! Oh well, waiting for AF and roll on next month.

Still no backache or cramping but am having my normal flow now.

Am bemused there is no pain.
Some people have had a very heavy that has only lasted a few days and still been pregnant so if this period is not mt normal 5 days and stops abruptly, I will test again, just in case.
Am not too hopeful though, think I have just been lucky this month to not have the usual crippling pain.

Will readjust the list then....

So surely, statistically with us lot on here.. some of us are going to have to have some good news soon, aren't we?

It's a simple part of mother natures plan, isn't it? OR NOT.... I suppose it is here to test us that are stronger than the rest. Although at the present moment in time i'm thinking that's a load of bollocks and it's just bloody cruel.

Sorry for ranting and raving, just having one of those days.

Keep the symptoms coming. Ooh I have a question:

What is the process for conception and symptoms? Sounds stupid but I'm wondering why people have implantation bleeding but don't know they're pregnant? So what comes first (not the chicken or the egg), so;

  1. period (aka AF)
  2. ovulation
  3. implantation bleed?
  4. what symptom? or is it delayed AF?

HELP xxxx

Wasn't really expecting to get pregnant in the first month of trying though, so I'm not upset

We are ttc no. 3, I don't remember with the first two. I was so sure I was pg, still a small chance I guess.

Am really fed up.

Don't know if AF has arrived or not now. (TMI warning) if it wasn't for the fact that I was using a tampon this morning (didn't want to get caught out!) I wouldn't think I had - there was just a small amount of blood on it (that I wouldn't have known about otherise) and there has been nothing at all since.

It is very late for me to start AF (and normally about 28 day cycle and this is day 34) but I suppose it can't be anything else? It must just be AF waiting to come on full blast?

Could be an implantation bleed Eleveld. Could be the old witch thinking of visiting. Think you will have to sit tight and see what happens. If nothing else happens and AF does not arrive in a few days, do another test.
And may I take this oppertunity to wrap you across the knuckles for putting a tampon in in anticipation of AF! Very naughty!

Not everyone gets an implantation bleed mind. I did not get them with ds1 or ds2. I had textbook pregnancies and natural water births.
That is why I know it's all over for me this month.
I feel a weight has been lifted in some respects though as I can stop worrying about it now and thinking 'am i? aren't i?'
Roll on the end of AF's visit so the fun can begin again!

Pink what do you mean? What symptoms should start?
The first one is no period usually.
For most women, myself included, no other signs tend to appear until about 6 weeks, which is 2 weeks after your missed period. I think I wind myself up and imagine some symptoms but I deffo had the ones I posted here and have since decided they are PMT.

I still have absolutely no pain no though. Bonus!

What about the implantation bleed? Everyone I have spoken to all said they had it.. nothing much apparently just a bit of discharge with stringy blood in. So of course i'm checking everthing that comes out of me YUK... Woudl it happen before missed period?

The implantation bleed comes before you missed period yes, but I didn't have them with either of my boys or with the baby I lost at 12 weeks.

no of course I don't mind.

Haven't had it for a while now (touch wood) but just used to get random spurts of absolute crippling pain.

It would come on really sudden (as if suddenly hit by a bus), would have me rolling about on the bed crying, thinking I was going to pass out. Normally lasted about 15 mins and would then stop as suddenly as it started. Was really quite bizarre, I was left thinking did that really happen or did I imagine it?!

My consultant has said that what happens is these 'chocolate cysts' I have get themselves wrapped around the blood supply to the ovaries and that's what causes the pain. In my case, so far (touch wood again) they've managed to unravel themselves which is why the pain stops as suddenly. He says the risk is it happens and they don't manage to unravel themselves in which case I'd end up in an ambulance.

It rally is the most excrutiating pain I've ever experienced. and it seemed to go right through to your back passge (sorry TMI) making it hard to even sit down sometimes

Sorry for the very long explanation! Why do you ask, do you suspect you have it?

I have had a few dodgy periods since I came off the pill, and now have a swolen cist/node. Am having it checked out. Guess I am just getting scared after 3 months of trying! Silly for me to start worrying at this stage.

I've never had very painful periods ...

Eleved = sounds like implantation bleed ot me. and be careful wearing a tampax unless you are actually bleeding as it can be dangerous.
i am watching this thread as there is a chance i may be pregnant again, i am due 28 jan so only a week to go!!

Hi all!

AF arrived for me on Friday instead of Monday which is very weird for me as I am always very regular - do you think it could be an early mc?

Very heavy with very bad cramps... not fun!

Not sure I should stay on your list of ttc as we now have to take a break until April!

Good luck to those of you who are still waiting! I'm crossing my fingers for you!

af due today (mon 21st)but no sign yet. i was convinced it was coming yesterday as i had some crampy moments, but then nothing more today! am a bit scared to let myself think that i might be. oh, did a test friday, sunday and today! all bfn
what d'ya reckon?
