AF due 21st. Should I have any symptoms by now if I am?

Really hoping I am but am trying not to get too excited at the same time.

Got morning sickness real bad with ds1, but not with ds2.

I don't have any feelings of sickness or anything, just typical AF symptoms but no actual AF yet

I have scar tissue but like you my tubes are patent. I also have cysts. I knew from being very young that I was going to have difficulty getting pregnant. I got married in May 07 and like you it's the right time but not fair when people like my sister and my best friend do it once and wallah they'r pregnant.

Could you let me know what all the AF's etc mean??? I have finally caught on to ttc... lol

i do not think you usually get symptoms until your period is due as atthis moment if you have been ferilised it is currently just a tiny tiny sac of cells.

Hi

I'm no expert, have had to pick up what I can but:

AF is Aunt Flo.

CD3 Cycle 3 TTC#1 is 3rd day of cycle 3 of trying to conceive number 3.

BFP/BFN - positive/negative tests

BD'ing - the term for s** (I think it's something like Baby Dancing??)

3dpo - 3rd day past ovulation

2ww - 2 week wait after ovulation untill AF (I think?)

other abbreviations used like - 'iykwim' - 'if you know what I mean'

OPK - ovulation predictor kits.

Can't think of anymore of the top of my head. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong on anything

Ok.. am currently on 2ww... Do most people get symptoms? I previously with MC didn't have any. Had what felt like period cramps all the way up to BFP.

My sister who has just announced she is pg went off alcohol v early and also her boobs have grown.

I've become an absolute psycho. My days are taken up with checking my filofax, counting down days, predicting if i'm ovulating, waiting for implantation bleeding (does everyone get this?) etc.... Life has completly taken over..

When I was pg with ds I was a day late with af and while at work when I bent down I felt such a dizzy feeling, I just knew then that I was pg. I just thought my af would start later that day until that moment! When I bought the test I already knew the outcome.
I don't remember having any other feelings up until that time though.

You are not alone - it has completely taken over my life.

This site is great for being able to obsess with others beacuse if I went on like this to my partner he would think I'd turned into a complete hormonal nightmare!!

My days are spent TRYING to work but keep nipping on this site, counting days and analysing every little twinge in my body!

And I'm only on cycle 1 - when AF arrives I really don't know how I'm going to get through another month of waiting!

That's the thing, our lives are taken up with waiting. I have 100 different diaries with different markings in signifying AF, Ovulation, days I should be doing it in etc..

Ooh just one thing, you probably already know this but my consultant said take clomid days 2-5, abstain (for him)from night 10 to 12 then do it from the eve of day 12 to day 17 (tiring but good fun). I find the biggest problem is trying to not make my husband think that I only want him for his sperm so I have stopped telling him when it is 'TIME'... lol

Right I want a list up and running then!

Name, which number child it will be, AF date.

Copy and paste, add yourself on, going from earliest AF date to latest so we can keep track of everyone.

LOTF - no.3 - AF due: 21st.

Pinkali37 - thanks for the info, no I didn't know that as not taking clomid yet but could well be if nothing happens in coming months.

List is a great idea Lady! I'vde added myself but am not sure yet when AF is due so may have to update my details when (IF?!) it arrives

I'm starting to feel pre-menstrual. Got a swollen tum and a bit achy. Did a test today (what was I thinking? I dunno!) and got a BFN. Not hopeful this month to be honest.

Hi All!

I'm going to add myself to the list too even though I did a test this morning and got BFN. I'm so devastated. I have the sore boobs, headaches, exhaustion and yesterday felt nauseous with smells but test doesn't reflect that. must be going mad!

I caved in and did a test tonight. BFN. Why did I put myself through it?!

Still absolutely no sign of AF but obviosuly just a bit of a delay

Hi.
I've been lurking on this site reading everyones messages and have finally plucked up the courage to input too! Why I need courage I don't know! My AF is due on the 21st too and I've been really hoping I am pg but as I'm feeling so premenstral (normal for me) I feel convinced I'm not, plus I did a test on Wed, 7 day's after BDing which was negative . But hearing that PMS type feelings could be an indicator gives me a tiny bit of hope.....

Also thank you so much Elveld for spelling out the abreviations.
