7DPO symptoms - I’m going crazy, anyone else?

SophT27 · 26/06/2022 19:09

I think I’m going crazy. Last month I had a faint positive which led to a chemical pregnancy. I wasn’t necessarily TTC, but that line made my heart flutter and I felt devastated when AF arrived.

flash forward to now and I’m 7 DPO. Yesterday I had some cramping and some pink spotting. Today I’m still cramping, I also have lower back ache and I have some brown loss on wiping (sorry, I know TMI). This afternoon I felt a little bit nauseous and now I think I’m reading into every, tiny, little thing!

I know it’s too early to test, and also that the chances of this being down to the imminent arrival of AF are high, but I’m finding it hard not to read into things and get my hopes up. Anyone else in a similar boat? would love to chat.

I should probably add that AF is due 4th July my periods are usually on time (give or take a day).

@SophT27 to be honest it just sounds like implantation stuff.... it's exactly what I had last month. It was a chemical pregnancy but unrelated to those symptoms. The spotting and cramping were huge signs for me. Do you have any bloating or funny bowel movements? Are your boobs normally sore after ovulation / before AF and not now? Or more sore? I had a headache, cramps, light spitting which was pink / red when wipes for the first day & then watery brown a few wipes for 2 days after. You may have implanted early. You could try an FRER test if you have one? But if it's negative it's likely it's still early xx

SophT27 · 26/06/2022 19:22

@Angie2018 I haven’t noticed any breast tenderness, and to be honest I couldn’t tell you how I usually feel after ovulation, but I do feel a bit bloated and I have had a bit of a funny tummy.

i’m winding myself up with all this symptom spotting, and I know it’s probably for nothing. A week seems like an eternity right now. Part of me hopes that if this is the lead up to AF that it comes early so I can be put out of my misery.

I don’t have any tests at home at all, but I might have to pop to town tomorrow to get something.

I don’t want to bother my husband with my craziness 🫣

@SophT27 I also didn't get sore boobs last month when I normally do so that was also a sign. Just be positive because everything you describe sounds text book implantation. If you get a test make sure you get a first response early result test as that's the most sensitive on the market x

SophT27 · 26/06/2022 20:11

@Angie2018 thank you. I’ll try and get hold of one of my those tomorrow. Part of me wants to test early, another part of me doesn’t and thinks I should just wait for AF to arrive (or not).

Angie2018 · 26/06/2022 20:58

@SophT27 I think if it's bothering you I would just test knowing that if it's negative or vvvv faint it is likely to change in a few days! How many days ago did the sporting start? Can take 3-5 days for HCG to get to a detectable level x

SophT27 · 26/06/2022 21:00

@Angie2018 spotting started yesterday. I had some cramping on Friday. I think if I didn’t have the stomach ache, it wouldn’t be playing on my mind quite so much. If that makes sense?

OP posts:
Angie2018 · 26/06/2022 21:06

@SophT27 the cramps will be normal, do they feel like normal AF cramps but less intense? X

SophT27 · 27/06/2022 07:10

@Angie2018 its different to my AF cramps, I wouldn’t say less intense but it does feel different.

@SophT27 fingers crossed keep us posted!!

Fabpinky · 27/06/2022 16:21

@SophT27 did you test?

SophT27 · 27/06/2022 17:25

@Fabpinky no not yet, I’ve been working all day today. I might try tomorrow but I think today I’ve convinced myself this could just be AF (albeit over a week early).

OP posts:
SophT27 · 27/06/2022 18:27

@Angie2018 @Fabpinky ok, so I couldn’t get a FRER today (it’s been manic at work) but I work in the NHS so I grabbed a test and it is a BFN. I did test this evening, I know FMU is better, but I just wanted to try. I’m 8DPO today which I know is very early and AF is due in 7 days. I won’t test tomorrow now and I’m tempted to just wait now.

I’ve tried to not get my hopes up this weekend but I, undoubtably have, so when AF does arrive, which I’m now sure it will, I think I’m going to be gutted.

@Fabpinky do you have any experience at all?

OP posts:
Angie2018 · 27/06/2022 18:46

@SophT27 you are sooooo early so it won't pick it up. You need an FRER and to test first thing in the morning. I still feel really hopeful for you your symptoms sound exactly like implantation!! Xx

SophT27 · 27/06/2022 19:02

Thank you ❤️ I really hope you’re right. I’m going to try and get hold of a FRER but if I can’t I’m just going to wait it out. I’m also
still spotting/blood on wiping which has now been over 48 hours.

Fabpinky · 27/06/2022 19:07

No none, sorry. I’ve never been pregnant or even tried to conceive I’m just convinced I’m pregnant so reading all the threads and getting invested 😂

It can last up to 3 days. Is it watery consistency or thick like normal blood? Some women have 7 days worth but the norm is up to 3 days! I would wait it out if you can't get an FRER because nothing else is likely to pick it up at this stage xx

SophT27 · 27/06/2022 20:11

@Angie2018 not thick, more of a watery consistency and just on wiping.

thank you for all your advice, I really appreciate it and it’s helping me to feel a bit better.

i’m going to wait it out now, unless I can get hold of a FRER. It will be a painful wait, but I can do it.

OP posts:
SophT27 · 27/06/2022 20:11

@Fabpinky oh bless you. Do you have any symptoms at all? The only way to tell I would say is to test (although the wait is a killer).

Angie2018 · 27/06/2022 20:46

@SophT27 you got this!! And no probs it's great for support on here 🥰 keep us posted on that FRER xx

Fabpinky · 27/06/2022 20:52

I had a very faint positive after what could have been implant bleeding, but I read after that the brand was bad for false positives, so I’m just going to wait and see if my period arrives, it’s due on the 3rd ish. I’ve feel sick every day for over a week now, felt bloated, tired, constantly weeing. But I’m convinced I’m convincing myself that I feel sick 😂

can I ask; what does AF stand for?

SophT27 · 28/06/2022 06:09

@Fabpinky mine is due on the 4th, so around the same time as you. I’ve been doing what you have - every little thing and I think it’s a symptom. I’m going to try and stop now.

AF is Aunt Flo - so you period 😊

OP posts:
Fabpinky · 28/06/2022 09:26

Ah thanks!!

Yeah me too, I did a test this morning and it was negative but maybe a bit early? I won’t be devastated if not as I’m not actively trying but feel so different this month. My fingers are crossed for you, please update me!

SophT27 · 30/06/2022 13:47

I just thought I’d come on and update, even though there isn’t much of one.

I was still having brown loss yesterday, it was only there when wiping until I walked, then I had some on my pad.

the cramps have almost all but subsided.

I haven’t got a FRER as I was waiting till payday. But all tests from work I’ve taken have been negative, including this mornings. I’ve had a couple of episodes of nausea both before and after eating, have been a bit dizzy on standing a couple of times and have felt tired.

AF is due on Monday, so I think I’m going to try and wait it out.

i’ve pretty much come to the conclusion that I have been symptom spotting too much and that it’s not my month.

if I do get FRER or AF arrives I will update again. But as of today, I’m at the point where I think AF is going to arrive next week.

how about you @Fabpinky

OP posts:
Fabpinky · 30/06/2022 14:11

@SophT27
Oh no, but there’s still a chance for you? Some people don’t test positive early. My fingers are crossed for you, definitely let me know!

Nothing new here, still feel sick most days and really bloated. But I’m sure I’m convincing myself that I feel sick 😂 I’ve had an unusual amount of CM (sorry tmi!) but I don’t know if that means anything. I’m just going to wait and see if AF comes, I feel silly for testing

SophT27 · 30/06/2022 14:45

@Fabpinky don’t feel silly at all. I did the same last month, had a BFP but unfortunately it ended in a chemical pregnancy. I tested positive really early though, which is why I think that this is probably all in my head. I’m going on holiday on Saturday, so I’m going to try and push all of this to the back of my mind.

when is your period due?
