7DPO symptoms - I’m going crazy, anyone else?

I think I’m going crazy. Last month I had a faint positive which led to a chemical pregnancy. I wasn’t necessarily TTC, but that line made my heart flutter and I felt devastated when AF arrived.

flash forward to now and I’m 7 DPO. Yesterday I had some cramping and some pink spotting. Today I’m still cramping, I also have lower back ache and I have some brown loss on wiping (sorry, I know TMI). This afternoon I felt a little bit nauseous and now I think I’m reading into every, tiny, little thing!

I know it’s too early to test, and also that the chances of this being down to the imminent arrival of AF are high, but I’m finding it hard not to read into things and get my hopes up. Anyone else in a similar boat? would love to chat.

I should probably add that AF is due 4th July my periods are usually on time (give or take a day).

@Dawnymillz we are back on Friday, so earliest I can test is Monday which will be 5 days over due AF if it doesn’t arrive before then. Flo says a period can be up to 7 days late. Saturday will also be day 30 of my cycle if AF hasn’t arrived.

sometimes I feel positive about my symptoms and other times not so.

@Ems1000 I didn’t notice that 5DPO but I have to be honest and say I didn’t start symptom spotting until 6DPO when I started having cramps and spotting.

@Ems1000 I didn't either I dont think. My CM was thick and white when I first started symptom spotting, think I was about 7/8 DPO, maybe a bit more.

@SophT27 Monday seems like ages away. You will have to have a busy weekend to occupy yourself 😊 I totally understand that, you feel very pregnant one minute and then second guess yourself the next.

@Dawnymillz I might test Saturday, when I’m home. I don’t think I can wait till Monday. Saturday seems bad enough. That’s if AF doesn’t make an appearance beforehand.

how about you? When do you think you will test now?

@GothGirlSophie it is such a long wait so dont blame you at all! When is AF due for you again?
AF is due on Sunday for me so Flo tells me and its normally spot on. I think I'm going to try to wait until Tues if I can but could cave 🙈 I'm exhausted this evening!

@Dawnymillz how long is your cycle usually?

flo is usually really accurate for me too. I’ve just been looking on there now and it said variation in your cycle is normal and that it will keep telling me my period could be due today until the 7 day period is up and then it will show as a grey circle on the calendar as a late period.

could you test earlier on a FRER?

I might test Saturday, I have a cheapie test at home that I could use when our holiday is over.

@SophT27 im normally 28 days. Ah another week possibly on top of the 2ww is mental isn't it, definitely wouldn't be waiting that long 😅
I actually have a couple of early clear blue ones but going to try and wait.

Also, just checked the Flo app and it is now saying I’m officially one day late based on a regular 28 day cycle.

So I guess I can test anytime from now?

@Fabpinky @SophT27 ah girls I'm so excited for you both! No sign of AF here but not due until Sunday. Feeling very tired and nauseous. I also have the fluttery feeling and metallic taste in my mouth so feeling positive. How are you girls feeling?

I still feel nauseous and I do have the occasional cramp/twinge but it’s happening both sides so not the same as a period pain.

i want to use a FRER to test so need to order one on Amazon but feel silly ordering it because I’m still convinced AF Is going to come

@SophT27 yes I guess you could do! Will you? Ah the suspense is killing me for us all. My Flo app says I’m 3 days late.

@Fabpinky it you are 3 days late I don’t know if you need to use a FRER. But I’m probably not the best person to be giving advice as I don’t even know what I should be doing myself.

@Dawnymillz it sounds positive for you doesn’t it. When you say the fluttery feeling, is that a feeling in your pelvis?

@SophT27 no I suppose not but I don’t want any doubt with the result 😂 I think I’m still going to wait until after tomorrow as then that will be the longest my cycle has ever ever been

@Fabpinky I think that’s a good idea. I’m going to wait until Saturday as that’s the first morning I will be at home after my holiday.

it’s so difficult isn’t it. I’m still half expecting AF to arrive. I don’t know if that’s a protection mechanism though.

@SophT27 yeah its lower abdominal fluttering every so often. Then I would give a pain on one side. Doesn't feel like period pains but who knows, our body likes to trick us 😅
Ah girls yous will both be testing this weekend, I'm very excited and positive for you both.
The toilet roll investigation is going to be on a high over the next few days haha.

@Dawnymillz toilet paper inspection is still very much ongoing here too, don’t worry.

I’ve had some fluttering in my tummy, I wondered if it was trapped wind, it felt a bit like bubbles, but maybe not then.

Hi all hope you dont mind me hopping on...It sounds like there may be a few bfps this weekend all the best to you all.. I am currently 7/8 dpo, im honestly not sure id we dtd in time during the window but oh well, im trying not to be so intense about it all as i was the last few mnths, kept testing and getting bfns...so this time around ive just been taking it easy well so to speak

@carsty of course not! Fingers crossed for you. Have you any symptoms?

@Fabpinky I’m glad it isn’t just me. It’s warm where we are too, I keep thinking AF has arrived but still nothing.

@carsty if I wasn’t on holiday I know I would be testing every day. I had tested before coming away but it was a BFN. I decided to not bring anything away with me to try and relax but it’s been worse I think 🫣 I’m actually surprised AF hasn’t arrived, I’m still not convinced I’m going to get a BFP and I’m worried I’ve stressed so much I’ve delayed my period. But only time will tell. have you had any symptoms yet at all?

@carsty we are only away in the U.K. but I was trying to not bring it up with my husband, in case I was reading into things. I think the earliest I’ll be able to test is Saturday, but with an internet cheapie. I might need to try and get some tests before we get home.

I had cramping and a little bit of bleeding on day 6. I had the cramps for over a week with spotting, which was definitely not AF. It’s such a horrible waiting game isn’t it.

@Dawnymillz you might be right, I might have been wrong in thinking it was trapped wind.

in my head, I still think that when I do test it’s going to be a BFN. I don’t feel like I’m pregnant, it that even makes any sense, and I’m convinced I’ve just been dreaming my symptoms. Although I can’t dream up that AF hasn’t arrived.

@SophT27 i feel exactly the same as you do. I’m convinced I want it so my body has given me the symptoms to make me happy haha. But like you say, there’s no denying the AF not arriving. Plus I have days I don’t feel sick and bloated and I think “see! You feel fine now you’re not imagining when you feel sick or you would be imagining it right now!”

my patience is running out now and I just want to know. But I will be so disappointed to get a negative, maybe that’s why I’m holding off testing, so I can live in the “what if” bubble
