Any1 else on clomid?

This is my 2nd month and i find it weird that my period only lasted for 4 days when it always lasts for 7 days, is that normal with clomid?x

OH GOD Sambrads... you're going to kill me. I've tested and it's POSITIVE......................................................... clearblue digital test. I'm sooooo scared as I miscarried in October... This means I am 4 weeks on wednesday.

I feel shakey. When should it implant? I feel so nervous I daren't move. I think it would be middle of November. Thank the lord I am seeing my consultant tomorrow.

I can't believe it yet. Last time I did the test on the Monday and by the Tuesday evening it was all over. I have given up coffee and am already taking folic acid so that's good.

I have been watching these thread closely, as I am hoping my GP will finally prescribe Clomid in three months time, that's of course if I am not pregnant already.

You and Sambrads are great examples of Clomid working. Congratulations to you both!

Thank you ever so much But i am soo nervous as m/c in October and I am sooo early at the moment. I think it is sods law as my doc prescribed the next 3 months worth of clomid at 100mg.

I suppose I just have to hold on and calm down as as my husband just said "what will be will be".

i was probably lot worse than you i am a born worrier its awful but hey we would not be women if we did not worry

i am 10 wes now and i am not settled yet as i am getting my scan on 20th and counting the days . this is my second child so you would think i would be less worried but im worse this time think dh is reday to leave

my sickness started nearly straight away it is awful never had any wit ds so i am finding it hard to deal with .

think we should start a new thread when you feel ready for clomid success stories having babies 2008

Have just seen my consultant and he has told me not to worry. Apparently no reason to think the worse. He wants me to have a scan at 6 weeks so that will be in 2 weeks.

Sambrads - did you have any pain early on???

First of all, massive congratulations, you must be over the moon.

I think we may have met on a previous thread? Sorry for being nosey but did you say you had severe endo? If so, it's even more encouraging to hear your news. I have endo and am having my next scan this lunchtime to see how bad it is at the moment.

Am on month 3 of TTC

Hi Eleveld... thank you so much..am trying not to get overally excited as soooo early and also miscarried in Oct so it's causing me a lot of anxiety. BUT as DH says, we must think positive. Yes I had severe severe endometriosis. Have had 2 op's so far and saw consultant this morning re Endo. Told him I was preg so obviously holding off with any further op's but eventually I will need one as it is all over my bowel and bladder as well as all the usual places. All I can say to you is... keep trying and be forceful with the experts. I was told by a very high up professor that there was no chance I could conceive without IVF, so far I have done it twice, 1st without any help but m/c @ 5 weeks and 2nd with 50mg of clomid. Fight for the clomid esepcially if you are like me and your ovaries are stuck together (or frozen as they say). We will just have to see what happens. Fingers Crossed.

sorry went to post in the wrong section earlier so here is a copy of what i wrote:
I have just started on my 1st cycle of Clomid in late Feb this yr and now in the 2WW. I took clomid late, started on the 7th day of my cycle which I've read wont be as effective as on the 2nd or 5th day. Anyways another big blunder is that I took double dose (100mg)on the 1st day of pill to make up for the lateness lol. But rest of the days took only 50mg.
So am not hoping much this month ..
but will update on my progress n hopefully will get a BFP soon!
P.S. I dont have PCOS or any other major problems except that my period is sometimes 31days and sometimes 35 days(every alternate months). So far doc says I ovulated n my ovaries r fine, so i dont know if Clomid would work??
Follow up: TTC#1 for 2 1/2 yrs

i also had nothing wrong with me just was not ovulating properly i got pregnant on first cycle of 50mgs took it day 1-5 of cycle .

the clomid may be a boast your cycles need

its nice to hear u were successful on the 1st cycle of clomid..i wish for that too
if i may ask,how many weeks r u preg now? hope everything goes well with ur pregnancy n birth.
so far, the clomid didnt give me much problems except for occasional twinges on my left n right overies..sheesh i could feel it on my right ovary after years of not feeling anything (maybe sleeping all this time)

i never felt nothing when i took the clomid i just had hot flushes which were awful but never felt like i was ovulating .

it seems a long time in the 2WW and when AF comes, my mind gone blank and i keep telling myself next month and still no pregnancy..i know its not my time yet but im going to be 27 this yr and hubby 34...
to me this month is just like other months which turn to years..i cant believe its been 2 1/2 yrs
but as impossible as it can be, i am taking it slow n steady otherwise if i dont, i would have gone insane at this stage just like some ppl would have n dying to have a baby
